Very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. Breakfast choice was amazing, however, when I checked the menu for fine dining there was no choice for myself as I am vegetarian. This wasn’t a problem as we only paid for breakfast but I may have chosen to eat in the hotel a few times.

The concierge staff was excellent and thorough in answering questions to help us navigate the area. The hotel is beautiful and its position overlooking the lake is amazing. The 2 rooms we stayed in were both exceptional in all ways. We tried to extend our stay by a day but the hotel and it sister hotel were sold out and the hotel was extremely accommodating in securing our luggage and purchases and arranging for a local private driver to return us to Milan later on the date of our check-out. Although we did not stay at the hotel we dined with yiu and enjoyed breakfast on the piazza. On our last day we enjoyed many bottles of vino also on the piazza and the reception team went above and beyond to help our family get a taxi to the airport as the fast ferries were all cancelled. We traveled with our 7th month old and were offered diapers, changing table, and bath tub. They also accommodated a high chair for us during each dining experience and kept our stroller safe in the lobby during our stay. Included parking was a huge plus too.

We loved every element of our stay! From the meeting the owners, to working with the manager on some last minute unexpected changes on our end, to the servers in the restaurant and the housecleaning staff, everyone was kind and the customer service top notch! We had to switch rooms (due to changes on our end) and I forgot my necklace in the shower of the first room. I didn’t realize it until they moved us into our new room and found my necklace there waiting for me. Thank you! The location of the hotel is also perfect. If we are so fortunate as to travel to Bellagio again, we would absolutely stay at the Hotel Du Lac!

The lady who checked us in at the hotel was exceptional. We never asked her name but she speaks 5 languages. The lady was so professional and helpful. We had trouble with the TV directions being only in Italian. While it was her job, this lady rushed right up to our room and fixed the problem. She was/is the most professional and helpful hotel staff we met on our entire month in Italy. You need to give her a raise!!

My husband and I just returned from four nights at Hotel du Luc. It was absolutely fantastic! EVERYTHING was delightful, from the desk staff, no matter who it was, to the SUPER clean rooms daily taken care, to the sauna, availability of different messages (which we benefitted from) and the staff there were very skilled. The food at the restaurant was delicious and served decoratively. Each morning we were eating a superb breakfast served daily with a kind, professional, attentive service. I could keep going on with this Hotel. In addition to all of this the culture, scenery and beauty out states anything. YOU will not be disappointed.

Our dinner was an experience of great food and service. The chef had delicious surprises for us and his olive oil was the best we have ever had! Wish it was for sale at the hotel!! Great location but difficult to reach by vehicle. It would be nice if reception staff had more accurate information about boat services. They were not helpful at all in this regard. Spa area needs better maintenance-we found alot of old towels on the beds in the spa as if no one regularly cleans up there during operating hours. Breakfast staff was pleasant but overwhelmed during busy hours and coffee becomes cold quickly when served in open pitchers! Overall an enjoyable stay!

The checkin was warm and welcoming, with excellent explanations of all the services and the spa. The room was sparkling clean and the bed was comfortable. Many thanks for our fantastic visit. We cannot fault the hotel in any way. Concierge were fantastic and cleaning staff very thorough. Spa is lovely and clean and peaceful. Outside for drinks was a real treat both downstairs and on the roof terrace. Waiting staff brilliant at breakfast and on the terrace. Bed mattresses perhaps a little firm but personal preference nothing else at all I can fault. We will be back again in the future!! Johnny

We had an absolutely wonderful time here. The staff was so friendly and welcoming- we loved Maria and Millie in the restaurant. They were so sweet to our baby. The room was comfortable and always cleaned with new towels. We loved the spa and had a great massage. It was so kind to provide items for our baby in the room. We have no complaints and would love to stay here again. It was better than we expected.

The hotel and everything about it mirrors the beauty of Bellagio! The staff is welcoming, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The views in all public spaces cannot be beat. The breakfast options are beautifully presented, fresh, and varied. The room was clean, soothing, comfortable and really appreciated having the coffee maker in the room and complimentary water bottles provided daily. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone and definitely would make it my return destination if I am fortunate enough to return! Thank you so much for this memorable stay!

The staff at the hotel went above and beyond. Family owned, they are always there to help with all of our questions and we had many since it was our first time in the area. The hotel could not have been in a better location right on the water in the town of Bellagio. The breakfast was great (bacon crispy) and we were there when the rooftop bar opened for the season which was nice to go to for a cocktail and snacks! The bed was very comfortable, it was the only bed that was not hard on our entire Italy trip.

I would give this hotel 5 stars. We loved every single day spent there: lovely staff, amazing views, perfect location. We have rented a car and have been provided with a garage. The road from the airport wasn’t as difficult as we were expecting, there was a wiggly road at the end, but not too narrow, two cars can pass. The room was very quickly served with TLC. The breakfast was with a very good variety of choices. We would definitely recommend this place.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Du Lac, in no small part thanks to the wonderful staff! The breakfast hugest was delicious and fill of options. Our room was nice, clean, and big. The view was outstanding! And everyone was so friendly. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to our friends and family!

We booked a standard room and were upgraded to room 61 on the top floor next to the terrace and had a partial view of the lake. We absolutely LOVED it and will stay here again! We also reserved the spa one evening and had it to ourselves - it was such a treat! One morning, I got a 60-minute deep tissue massage, and it was so wonderful. The restaurant on the ground level was absolutely fantastic, and the hotel offered the best complimentary breakfast with the best view. We loved our time here!

Hotel staff were amazing without a single exception. My Italian is terrible, but the people at the front desk had unending patience and actually helped me with pronunciation and slang. Five star experience overall without the haughtiness which I appreciate. Highly recommend the Hotel Du Lac.

The room (15) was spcious and perfectly comfortable, and the balcony with view spectacular. Just that in the room 32, there is a lot of dust. Above the headboard, along the edge of tiles in the bathroom, and the extractor fan. These items are the only fault I could find with the hotel which I will recommend to others. I loved it.

The room was great and functioned well. By the time we got back from breakfast it was made up. There's a new spa. The hotel is situated on the waterfront in town where there are shops and cafes. This was a very accommodating hotel. Always helpful. The lake view rooms were very nice. You need to be prepared for the small roads and parking spots. Be prepared. If you rent a car make sure it is small. The instructions from the front desk were very helpful (parking, etc.).

All of the staff were truly amazing, nothing was too much trouble for them. This is what separates good hotels from great hotels. The restaurant and fare offered was also of a quality not associated with most hotels. We enjoyed the meals so much, we dined there four nights out of five, having discovered the restaurant on our second day. The hotel also offers a roof top terrace/bar, where you can relax and take in the glorious views of Lake Como.

Appreciated use of super soft towelling robes and slippers and a U.K. plug socket at desk (very unusual, but very welcome). If only there was a mirror to sit at whilst using the socket for hairdryer.

The Hotel is perfecto, the location is great , the rooms are well thought out . The phone usb charger sockets next to the bed and 13 amp English socket was genius and meant my travel adapters were redundant . An added touch in the room was a small guide book for lake Como .The reception staff Zara and Graziano were only two of the exceptional staff , and their knowledge was very broad from transport to recommendations for restaurants etc. The breakfast for lovely and more than adequate for the start to a day on the Lake . Thank you Hotel DuLac for a brilliant weeks stay .

The hotel room was very, very nice and the views of the lake from our rooms as well as at breakfast and the rooftop terrace were nothing short of stunning. Gorgeous on a sunny day! The staff were wonderful, knowledgeable, helpful, attentive, courteous and did a great job. They should all be commended. The full breakfast was great as was the staff and service for that meal. The location of the hotel in Bellagio was also perfect being in the center, really the heart of Bellagio. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Perfecto!

Very enjoyable. The receptionists spoke English which was helpful for my wife. They were all very professional. Our view was amazing, it was our first time at lake Como. The room was very comfortable. The accommodation with our car was fantastic, I had not booked the garage but there was one available. We had a boat tour at 11:00am when we were supposed to check out, but they allowed me to use the garage until that was done. I felt special being able to drive in ZTL areas.

I had a splendid time staying at the Hotel Du Lac. My third time there, and always a pleasure. I don’t know how you manage the insane crowds and constant barrage of tourists, your staff at the front desk serves with distinction. I was left feeling a little underwhelmed with the restaurant/bar staff downstairs, almost as if I was in their way and as a guest I only ordered a few drinks for me to take to my room. Everyone was polite but seemed uninterested in helping me for the most part. The rooftop bar staff were amazing and welcoming, the views were amazing and the service wonderful and kind. We are very experienced travellers and used to stop in different hotels and being in Hotel Du Lac & SPA we felt like we stopped in a 5 stars hotel. Everything was beyond our expectations. The location was very good and the views the hotel offers were gorgeous. Our room was always super clean. The breakfast had excellent variety and the staff was caring and helpful. I would like particularly to thank Ganga for looking after me, her attention to my wishes. All receptionists were extremely helpful as well and very friendly but Sara was just amazing. I think where this hotel really shines is with the service. Everyone is super nice and welcoming and extremely professional about their jobs. On top of that, I found the rooms to be very spacious for their price and they were decorated quite nicely. The views were also stunning, and it was nice to have that little balcony to go out on and read and such. The breakfast was really well done and high quality, and had a great variety of offerings.

I had tears in my eyes when I first walked out on the balcony since the beauty of Lake Como and the mountains took my breath away. I must also mention Chiara (sp?) She wholeheartedly welcomed us upon arrival and that made for a wonderful start to a fabulous time in Bellagio. Also thank you to Luca! He and his wife made us feel like family. We had an amazing Dispensa 63 Dinner in Nature on Tuesday night then on Wednesday evening we were asked to join the party at Du Lac for the lovely Dispensa chef. We booked half board which the hotel is not really set up for. However the staff in the bar were very helpful. Mara in particular was very helpful and along with the chef ensured that we had a varied menu throughout our stay.

The hotel was lovely and close to everything. The staff was friendly and helpful. Graciano was very helpful getting us transportation to dinner and Sara was helpful with getting us a driver to the airport in Milan. I will stay here again and recommend this beautiful place. Grateful to be able to drop off shopping bags at front desk!

The staff at the front desk was exceptional. They were kind, helpful, and professional. I also loved the ability to fill up our water bottles on the second floor. The location is perfect, the room was nice, and overall a great place to stay. The automated shutters made the rooms so dark and easy to get your rest.

All was good and very pleasant stay… the only disappointment was our rooms were not close together which we found unusual as they were booked well in advance- we asked for next door to each other but was told they could not accommodate us… all well apart from that.

( Ce n’était pas notre cas, on a réservé trop tard😟) Petit déjeuner varié et excellent, salle au 1er étage avec terrasse et vue sur le lac. La brasserie au RDC offre un menu simple d’un très bon rapport qualité prix. Le restaurant gastronomique au 1er étage vient d’ouvrir: c’est déjà au top avec un menu digne d’une citation au Michelin. Les prix sont raisonnables pour la qualité et la vue sur le lac fabuleuse. Cet endroit va avoir du succès! Cerise sur le gâteau : le bar roof-top pour un apéritif en dominant le lac. Bref, on a adoré notre séjour. Cet hôtel ne se contente pas d’un emplacement idéal. L’accueil par tout le personnel, aux restaurants, au bar, est plein d’attentions et personnalisé. Une mention spéciale pour Daniele, un des propriétaires, à l’accueil qui nous a trouvé des places et réservations (restaurant, visite de la villa Balbaniello) alors sue ces endroits affichaient complets.

This is my new favorite hotel!! Ill be telling all my friends about it. The spa is incredible as an amenity and Antonio really is a healer. Best massage I've had! Otherwise the staff all went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay in Bellagio!
