This was a wonderful experience. Firstly, the staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful, as well as efficient and knowlegeable. All answers were "yes" and never "this is not possible". The room was great and functioned well. By the time we got back from breakfast it was made up. There's a new spa. The hotel is situated on the waterfront in town where there are shops and cafes. Highly recommend.

This was a very accommodating hotel. Always helpful. The lake view rooms were very nice. You need to be prepared for the small roads and parking spots. Be prepared. If you rent a car make sure it is small. The instructions from the front desk were very helpful (parking, etc.).

My husband and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately we were only there for 3 days! It was a FABULOUS experience, from check in to check out. Sara, Chiara and Graziano could not have been anymore helpful. My husband and I felt they went above and beyond! It truly was sad for me leaving, I may have even shed a few tears! Hotel du Lac in Bellagio is truly a hidden gem along with the staff!

All of the staff were truly amazing, nothing was too much trouble for them. This is what separates good hotels from great hotels. The restaurant and fare offered was also of a quality not associated with most hotels. We enjoyed the meals so much, we dined there four nights out of five, having discovered the restaurant on our second day. The hotel also offers a roof top terrace/bar, where you can relax and take in the glorious views of Lake Como.

We found the Hotel du Lac to be spotlessly clean and very comfortable. All staff were very friendly, patient and helpful. Davina did a wonderful job of cleaning and tidying our room. We very much enjoyed sitting on the terrace. Another plus is the ferry being right across the street. The hospitality was extraordinary. We appreciated the gifts of Prosecco, fruit, chocolates and calendar. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Dear Hotel de Dulac, Paola..at the front desk was a life saver. After being stranded in Bellagio (Floods/Mud slides, roads blocked) she came to our rescue. We frantically tried to call Cuomo Luxury Suites for assistance via mobile & Paola made contact with our hotel but they could not help. Your hotel is beautiful and the shining star of the lake. Appreciated use of super soft towelling robes and slippers and a U.K. plug socket at desk (very unusual, but very welcome). If only there was a mirror to sit at whilst using the socket for hairdryer.

The Hotel is perfecto, the location is great , the rooms are well thought out . The phone usb charger sockets next to the bed and 13 amp English socket was genius and meant my travel adapters were redundant . An added touch in the room was a small guide book for lake Como .The reception staff Zara and Graziano were only two of the exceptional staff , and their knowledge was very broad from transport to recommendations for restaurants etc. The breakfast for lovely and more than adequate for the start to a day on the Lake . The hotel room was very, very nice and the views of the lake from our rooms as well as at breakfast and the rooftop terrace were nothing short of stunning. Gorgeous on a sunny day! The staff were wonderful, knowledgeable, helpful, attentive, courteous and did a great job. They should all be commended. The full breakfast was great as was the staff and service for that meal. The location of the hotel in Bellagio was also perfect being in the center, really the heart of Bellagio. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Perfecto!

Very enjoyable. The receptionists spoke English which was helpful for my wife. They were all very professional. Our view was amazing, it was our first time at lake Como. The room was very comfortable. The accommodation with our car was fantastic, I had not booked the garage but there was one available. We had a boat tour at 11:00am when we were supposed to check out, but they allowed me to use the garage until that was done. I felt special being able to drive in ZTL areas.

I had a splendid time staying at the Hotel Du Lac. My third time there, and always a pleasure. I don’t know how you manage the insane crowds and constant barrage of tourists, your staff at the front desk serves with distinction. I was left feeling a little underwhelmed with the restaurant/bar staff downstairs, almost as if I was in their way and as a guest I only ordered a few drinks for me to take to my room. Everyone was polite but seemed uninterested in helping me for the most part. The rooftop bar staff were amazing and welcoming, the views were amazing and the service wonderful and kind. Had a wonderful weeks stay. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by friendly, efficient staff, who provided lots of tips and information throughout our stay. I think where this hotel really shines is with the service. Everyone is super nice and welcoming and extremely professional about their jobs. On top of that, I found the rooms to be very spacious for their price and they were decorated quite nicely. The views were also stunning, and it was nice to have that little balcony to go out on and read and such. The breakfast was really well done and high quality, and had a great variety of offerings.

We absolutely LOVED our stay in room #4! The views from the room are beyond spectacular. I had tears in my eyes when I first walked out on the balcony since the beauty of Lake Como and the mountains took my breath away. I must also mention Chiara (sp?) She wholeheartedly welcomed us upon arrival and that made for a wonderful start to a fabulous time in Bellagio. Also thank you to Luca! He and his wife made us feel like family. We had an amazing Dispensa 63 Dinner in Nature on Tuesday night then on Wednesday evening we were asked to join the party at Du Lac for the lovely Dispensa chef. They were always helpful and lots of great suggestions for restaurants and how to get around. Breakfast buffet was excellent and we went to the rooftop bar both nights! After the first night, they already knew our drinks order as soon as we sat down. It's a lovely hotel in a perfect location!

La brasserie au RDC offre un menu simple d’un très bon rapport qualité prix. Le restaurant gastronomique au 1er étage vient d’ouvrir: c’est déjà au top avec un menu digne d’une citation au Michelin. Les prix sont raisonnables pour la qualité et la vue sur le lac fabuleuse. Cet endroit va avoir du succès! Cerise sur le gâteau : le bar roof-top pour un apéritif en dominant le lac. Bref, on a adoré notre séjour. Cet hôtel ne se contente pas d’un emplacement idéal. L’accueil par tout le personnel, aux restaurants, au bar, est plein d’attentions et personnalisé. Une mention spéciale pour Daniele, un des propriétaires, à l’accueil qui nous a trouvé des places et réservations (restaurant, visite de la villa Balbaniello) alors sue ces endroits affichaient complets.

The breakfast was delicious with lovely staff assisting with anything we required. It was such an exciting trip for us with our daughter getting married and so many friends and family joining us. The staff were all fantastic and very attentive helping with all our needs in the build-up and on the day of the wedding when all the bridal party were getting ready in our room. We have visited Italy on many occasions but this was our first visit to Lake Como. We would love to return one day.

We recently had an 8 day stay at Hotel Du Loc Bellagio. What a beautiful experience from start to finish. Our room was spacious so we didn’t feel cramped for such a long stay with a nice large bathroom and room to store all of our things. Everything was spotless and very clean with a very comfortable bed/bedding. We even commented that we slept better there than we do at home. Some very special things to make note of. From the moment we walked through the lobby doors we were welcomed like family from the hotel staff. This is a family owned and operated hotel since the 1950’s and their attention to detail and pride in what they do is evident in every detail from the cleanliness to the staff they hire. Everyone is wanting to help. Danny, one of the sons was particularly kind and helpful. Another thing to note is the amazing breakfast served each morning and we’re informed that another son (who is a chef) has taken over all of the food service for the hotel starting the beginning of this year, 2025. I can honestly say that after traveling Europe extensively over the past decade that the breakfast served each morning was one of the best we’ve ever experienced regarding the quality, freshness and preparation of the food. You can just tell that the suppliers used for their food preparation are exceptional! Bakery that melts in your mouth! Delicious eggs, bacon and sausage! Coffee and hot chocolate made to order! Well done! Two other great features specific to Hotel Du Loc Bellagio are the rooftop terrace and the complimentary Spa. Amazing! The views from the roof are fabulous and the ability to rest in a hot tub or sauna at the end of a busy day was great. A final comment, after ferrying to most of the main towns on Lake Como we noticed quite a few other hotels with a similar name “du loc”. Don’t be confused into thinking that they are a “chain” of hotels like what is found in the states. Each one is completely independently owned and not connected in any way. A final thank you to the Leoni family for a very enjoyable visit!

When I had to reschedule my visit, the hotel offered to waive my cancellation fee if the room could be resold, which it was - that saved me some money and was very much appreciated! I have to say that Gloria and Marina were so wonderful to us when we came for lunch on Saturday. I had booked a table but had to email to change the booking. Gloria replied so quickly and with such thoughtfulness that we had no worries at all and knew a table would be ready for us. She was so genuine and welcoming when we arrived it felt really special. Marina looked after us at the table, she was just delightful! She looked after us so well and even arranged for a candle for my father's dessert as it was his birthday. They both made our visit so special! I had booked the table after visiting your bistro 6 years ago and having a great experience. We will be back! Thank you!

A wonderfully warm welcome from Sara in reception on our arrival and thanks to Graciana and all the reception staff for their support and assistance during our stay.Equally good service and rapport from the breakfast team with a terrific buffet spread way better than last year. We enjoyed the outside bar area and again the staff were all very engaging and friendly with the added bonus of the rooftop bar on two evenings when the weather permitted us to enjoy some great service and lovely cocktails.

We had a fabulous stay at the beautiful Hotel De Lac everything was perfect, the location amazing and the views spectacular, we had the most charming balcony on the side of the hotel, which we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on and people watching, our only negative comment is on our last night there was a singer which was lovely but then the disco came on which had it been not as loud we would not have minded but it was so loud, we are not miserable people we love music and people having fun, but the noise levels from the disco did make it uncomfortable for us to sit on the balcony on our last night, if the volume was just turned down a little it would have been fine. Apart from the noise levels of the disco everything else was absolutely perfect, thank you for a lovely stay in your beautiful hotel in the amazing Bellagio

Overall great stay 1. Not having streaming services on TV is really inexcusable. 2. Getting ice from the disgruntled bartenders was an extreme hassle. 3. The king size bed had a large gap. It sure have a topper mattress on it so you don’t feel the whole 4. More hand sanitizer locations. One next to elevator on Floor 0 was missing the entire time 5. Breakfast area should have signs about using utensils and new plates each time. Some men put their hands in the granola and put it in their mouths even when there was a spoon in it

We had an incredible stay at the Hotel Du Lac. The room was very spacious and clean overlooking Lake Como with magnificent views of the lake upon awakening in the morning and beautiful sunsets at night. The breakfast area was a beautiful room looking out at the lake with the most delicious selection of breads and pastries along with your typical breakfast items. We had dinner on our last evening at the hotel and the food and service was terrific. I loved how the ownership took advantage of utilizing the roof top bar 2 hours every evening to watch a magnificent sunset and get a chance to meet and greet other vacationers staying at the hotel. The staff was top shelf in every aspect regarding meeting any need or request. The young lady in the front office at check in and throughout our stay could not have been more wonderful. We utilized her recommendations on many occasions from restaurants to bike rentals and to sightseeing journeys!!! Luca and his son Danielo help create the personalized touch that separates Hotel Du Lac from the larger hotels on the lake!! Can’t wait to return!! *****

Your hotel lobby is very beautiful and conveniently located near the ferry. The girls behind the desk helped us a lot, which we appreciated . The room was very nice. The bed was decent. However, it could’ve been a little more comfortable.

I have been traveling to Italy for many years, and I’ve gathered countless wonderful memories. However, this recent trip was truly one of the most exceptional experiences I’ve had there. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by a delightful staff member, at the reception desk. She greeted us with a warm, genuine smile that instantly made us feel at ease. Her kindness and professionalism shone through as she patiently guided us through the check-in process and explained the hotel’s amenities. The breakfast service staff were absolutely professional and kind, enhancing our mornings with their warm hospitality. One of the standout memories from our stay at Hotel Du Lac was the exceptional massage experience. The skilled, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind masseuse made it truly unforgettable. It was a fantastic experience that added a special touch to our visit. Please kindly pass along my sincere appreciation to the lady masseuse. I only wish I knew her name so I could thank her personally!

The cake in the breakfast buffet was delicious. Breakfast room has a marvelous view. Bed was comfortable - I slept well. Room was cleaned well and cleaning lady was polite and professional. Man at reception was very very nice and welcoming.

The room was wonderful - fresh and spacious and well decorated. A wonderful welcome when we arrived at the hotel - very hospitable. Great roof top bar - so special to watch sunset across the lake Wonderful light breakfast room with sensational view of the lake.

Our stay at Hotel du Lac was superb! Our room was fabulous with an amazing view of the lake, the fizz on arrival to celebrate our wedding anniversary made us feel very special. The staff were lovely and overall our stay was fantastic. Thanks to all for making the Hotel du Lac such a great hotel

The clerk at checkout gave helpful information regarding transportation to the train station. He said take the ferry and walk because Ubers are unreliable in the area. We did, and even in the light rain, that was a smart choice.

Complaint: Sorry I misread the title A gentleman working at the breakfast buffet was quite rude when we arrived as the buffet was closing. He actually pushed ahead of me to turn off the coffee/ hot water machine and raised his voice, yelling Fini and grabbing the food quickly so we could not take something from the buffet. It was honestly shocking and left a very bad taste in our mouth. Other than his behavior, the staff was lovely and helpful. I did tell him that I found his behavior rude and the food that was left would likely be thrown away and he yelled go to the restaurant! And actually was laughing. I could see the woman working was uncomfortable by his rude behavior. We were unable to use the appertif and have a drink two different nights as I guess there is a limit to how many people can be served at a time. This was not so clear to us.

I would highly recommend Hotel Du Lac to anyone traveling to Bellagio. I thought the front desk and the housekeeping staff, as well as the rooftop bar staff were courteous, friendly and so accommodating. When my husband left his iPad in the room after we checked out. They went to heroic measures to get it on the next ferry to Varenna so that we could pick it up from there before we got our train to Milan. They truly went above and beyond and we’re just best. However, I would recommend with some caveats. See below.

All staff were excellent especially the gentleman at the front desk who connected us with needed medical services. Our housekeeper, Barbara, was wonderful at meeting our special requests. The breakfast staff was great at providing special GF options. Our room was outstanding - loved the view/balcony. Can’t wait to come back!

Graziano was incredibly helpful with finding my wife and I a doctor last week. He gave us directions and helped us set up an appointment. We were able to visit Dr. Tagliabue and get a prescription for the antibiotics we needed at the pharmacy. Our vacation in Bellagio was saved!! Understanding the ferry system is essential. Reception helped a number of times with my questions.

We really enjoyed our visit of your wonderful hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful whenever needed. The rooms and public areas were very clean and well kept up. We really enjoyed the gentleman that manned the reception area in the afternoon - he was great for getting any information or directions as needed. We also thought our maid service was excellent - we were well stocked with toilet roll, Kleenex and towels. The sky deck is a wonderful way to end the day.
