We booked a standard room and were upgraded to room 61 on the top floor next to the terrace and had a partial view of the lake. We absolutely LOVED it and will stay here again! We also reserved the spa one evening and had it to ourselves - it was such a treat! One morning, I got a 60-minute deep tissue massage, and it was so wonderful. The restaurant on the ground level was absolutely fantastic, and the hotel offered the best complimentary breakfast with the best view. We loved our time here!

The room (15) was spcious and perfectly comfortable, and the balcony with view spectacular. This was a wonderful experience. Firstly, the staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful, as well as efficient and knowlegeable. All answers were "yes" and never "this is not possible". The room was great and functioned well. By the time we got back from breakfast it was made up. There's a new spa. The hotel is situated on the waterfront in town where there are shops and cafes. Highly recommend.

All of the staff were truly amazing, nothing was too much trouble for them. This is what separates good hotels from great hotels. The restaurant and fare offered was also of a quality not associated with most hotels. We enjoyed the meals so much, we dined there four nights out of five, having discovered the restaurant on our second day. The hotel also offers a roof top terrace/bar, where you can relax and take in the glorious views of Lake Como.

Extremely comfortable bed and crisp, soft bed linen. Lovely room to relax in or sit on the spacious terrace. Excellent shower and toiletries. Appreciated use of super soft towelling robes and slippers and a U.K. plug socket at desk (very unusual, but very welcome). If only there was a mirror to sit at whilst using the socket for hairdryer.

The Hotel is perfecto, the location is great , the rooms are well thought out . The phone usb charger sockets next to the bed and 13 amp English socket was genius and meant my travel adapters were redundant . An added touch in the room was a small guide book for lake Como .The reception staff Zara and Graziano were only two of the exceptional staff , and their knowledge was very broad from transport to recommendations for restaurants etc. The breakfast for lovely and more than adequate for the start to a day on the Lake . Thank you Hotel DuLac for a brilliant weeks stay .

The staff were wonderful, knowledgeable, helpful, attentive, courteous and did a great job. They should all be commended. The full breakfast was great as was the staff and service for that meal. The location of the hotel in Bellagio was also perfect being in the center, really the heart of Bellagio. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Perfecto!

Very enjoyable. The receptionists spoke English which was helpful for my wife. They were all very professional. Our view was amazing, it was our first time at lake Como. The room was very comfortable. The accommodation with our car was fantastic, I had not booked the garage but there was one available. We had a boat tour at 11:00am when we were supposed to check out, but they allowed me to use the garage until that was done. I felt special being able to drive in ZTL areas.

I don’t know how you manage the insane crowds and constant barrage of tourists, your staff at the front desk serves with distinction. I was left feeling a little underwhelmed with the restaurant/bar staff downstairs, almost as if I was in their way and as a guest I only ordered a few drinks for me to take to my room. Everyone was polite but seemed uninterested in helping me for the most part. The rooftop bar staff were amazing and welcoming, the views were amazing and the service wonderful and kind. This hotel offers everything what you would like to have to be looked after. We are very experienced travellers and used to stop in different hotels and being in Hotel Du Lac & SPA we felt like we stopped in a 5 stars hotel. Everything was beyond our expectations. The location was very good and the views the hotel offers were gorgeous. Our room was always super clean. The breakfast had excellent variety and the staff was caring and helpful. I would like particularly to thank Ganga for looking after me, her attention to my wishes. All receptionists were extremely helpful as well and very friendly but Sara was just amazing. She helped us with everything we needed. Huge THANKS to all of you making our holiday SUPER special!!! Liza and Daniel.

I think where this hotel really shines is with the service. Everyone is super nice and welcoming and extremely professional about their jobs. On top of that, I found the rooms to be very spacious for their price and they were decorated quite nicely. The views were also stunning, and it was nice to have that little balcony to go out on and read and such. The breakfast was really well done and high quality, and had a great variety of offerings.

We absolutely LOVED our stay in room #4! The views from the room are beyond spectacular. I had tears in my eyes when I first walked out on the balcony since the beauty of Lake Como and the mountains took my breath away. I must also mention Chiara (sp?) She wholeheartedly welcomed us upon arrival and that made for a wonderful start to a fabulous time in Bellagio. Also thank you to Luca! He and his wife made us feel like family. We had an amazing Dispensa 63 Dinner in Nature on Tuesday night then on Wednesday evening we were asked to join the party at Du Lac for the lovely Dispensa chef. They were always helpful and lots of great suggestions for restaurants and how to get around. Breakfast buffet was excellent and we went to the rooftop bar both nights! After the first night, they already knew our drinks order as soon as we sat down. It's a lovely hotel in a perfect location!

La brasserie au RDC offre un menu simple d’un très bon rapport qualité prix. Le restaurant gastronomique au 1er étage vient d’ouvrir: c’est déjà au top avec un menu digne d’une citation au Michelin. Les prix sont raisonnables pour la qualité et la vue sur le lac fabuleuse. Cet endroit va avoir du succès! Cerise sur le gâteau : le bar roof-top pour un apéritif en dominant le lac. Bref, on a adoré notre séjour. Cet hôtel ne se contente pas d’un emplacement idéal. L’accueil par tout le personnel, aux restaurants, au bar, est plein d’attentions et personnalisé. Une mention spéciale pour Daniele, un des propriétaires, à l’accueil qui nous a trouvé des places et réservations (restaurant, visite de la villa Balbaniello) alors sue ces endroits affichaient complets.

The breakfast was delicious with lovely staff assisting with anything we required. It was such an exciting trip for us with our daughter getting married and so many friends and family joining us. The staff were all fantastic and very attentive helping with all our needs in the build-up and on the day of the wedding when all the bridal party were getting ready in our room. We recently had an 8 day stay at Hotel Du Loc Bellagio. What a beautiful experience from start to finish. Our room was spacious so we didn’t feel cramped for such a long stay with a nice large bathroom and room to store all of our things. Everything was spotless and very clean with a very comfortable bed/bedding. We even commented that we slept better there than we do at home. Some very special things to make note of. From the moment we walked through the lobby doors we were welcomed like family from the hotel staff. This is a family owned and operated hotel since the 1950’s and their attention to detail and pride in what they do is evident in every detail from the cleanliness to the staff they hire. Everyone is wanting to help. Danny, one of the sons was particularly kind and helpful. Another thing to note is the amazing breakfast served each morning and we’re informed that another son (who is a chef) has taken over all of the food service for the hotel starting the beginning of this year, 2025. I can honestly say that after traveling Europe extensively over the past decade that the breakfast served each morning was one of the best we’ve ever experienced regarding the quality, freshness and preparation of the food. You can just tell that the suppliers used for their food preparation are exceptional! Bakery that melts in your mouth! Delicious eggs, bacon and sausage! Coffee and hot chocolate made to order! Well done! Two other great features specific to Hotel Du Loc Bellagio are the rooftop terrace and the complimentary Spa. Amazing! The views from the roof are fabulous and the ability to rest in a hot tub or sauna at the end of a busy day was great. A final comment, after ferrying to most of the main towns on Lake Como we noticed quite a few other hotels with a similar name “du loc”. Don’t be confused into thinking that they are a “chain” of hotels like what is found in the states. Each one is completely independently owned and not connected in any way. A final thank you to the Leoni family for a very enjoyable visit!

What a wonderful hotel! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and the views magnificent. When I had to reschedule my visit, the hotel offered to waive my cancellation fee if the room could be resold, which it was - that saved me some money and was very much appreciated! The staff even helped press my tuxedo shirt for a wedding I had the next day, and they did a great job! In short, your hotel is beautiful and very well managed, and I will be recommending it to anyone who visits Bellagio. Thank you for making my visit so memorable!

The staff were absolutely exceptional as always. They assisted me with baggage as I was struggling with handling my baby and the bags. We absolutely loved our stay! 9 years ago we got married at Villa Carlotta and we stayed at Hotel Bellagio then but had a lot of dinners and drinks at Du Lac restaurants and Roof Top (both the one who is downstairs and the one that is breakfast now). So the hotel is special for us because we have a lot of memories attached to both Du Lac and Bellagio hotel. We really enjoyed the renovations that have been made at the hotel and the rooms are absolutely gorgeous. The spa, the food and the very very kind staff was all amazing!

I have to say that Gloria and Marina were so wonderful to us when we came for lunch on Saturday. I had booked a table but had to email to change the booking. Gloria replied so quickly and with such thoughtfulness that we had no worries at all and knew a table would be ready for us. She was so genuine and welcoming when we arrived it felt really special. Marina looked after us at the table, she was just delightful! She looked after us so well and even arranged for a candle for my father's dessert as it was his birthday. They both made our visit so special! I had booked the table after visiting your bistro 6 years ago and having a great experience. We will be back! Thank you!

We had a fabulous stay at the beautiful Hotel De Lac everything was perfect, the location amazing and the views spectacular, we had the most charming balcony on the side of the hotel, which we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on and people watching, our only negative comment is on our last night there was a singer which was lovely but then the disco came on which had it been not as loud we would not have minded but it was so loud, we are not miserable people we love music and people having fun, but the noise levels from the disco did make it uncomfortable for us to sit on the balcony on our last night, if the volume was just turned down a little it would have been fine. Apart from the noise levels of the disco everything else was absolutely perfect, thank you for a lovely stay in your beautiful hotel in the amazing Bellagio

We had an incredible stay at the Hotel Du Lac. The room was very spacious and clean overlooking Lake Como with magnificent views of the lake upon awakening in the morning and beautiful sunsets at night. The breakfast area was a beautiful room looking out at the lake with the most delicious selection of breads and pastries along with your typical breakfast items. We had dinner on our last evening at the hotel and the food and service was terrific. I loved how the ownership took advantage of utilizing the roof top bar 2 hours every evening to watch a magnificent sunset and get a chance to meet and greet other vacationers staying at the hotel. The staff was top shelf in every aspect regarding meeting any need or request. The young lady in the front office at check in and throughout our stay could not have been more wonderful. We utilized her recommendations on many occasions from restaurants to bike rentals and to sightseeing journeys!!! Luca and his son Danielo help create the personalized touch that separates Hotel Du Lac from the larger hotels on the lake!! Can’t wait to return!! *****

The gentlemen who checked my cousin and myself in, Garciano, was great! He was personable and helpful while maintaining a gracious and professional demeanor. I cannot thank the hotel team and staff enough for the excellent reception they gave myself and my fiancé. Every aspect of our stay was handled with diligence and care. I proposed to my now fiancé in Bellagio, and the team at the hotel, Daniel most of all, helped facilitate an incredible experience I will never forget their kindness and generosity. My cousin and I enjoyed 5 nights here. Aside from the nonstop rain and lack of sunshine, we had a PERFECT stay. We LOVE this wonderful, family-run hotel. Everyone is so kind, and helpful. The common area was recently updated and we really utilized it alot. The breakfast was wonderful with AMAZING views. The bedrooms were as comfy as home. Truly, highly recommend!! Perfect in every way

Mr Giamluca was very helpful. He explained the ferry lines we needed to use to visit three close islands. Whenever we had a question, the staff member at reception was always able to help us. Fomos muito bem recebidas pela equipe da recepção. Todos muitos gentis e atenciosos com exceção do sr que fez nosso checkout (parece que era um segurança da noite - saímos às 8am). Esse senhor me avisou que eu tinha que pagar aproximadamente 250 euros, como não entendi o motivo desse valor pedi para ver antes de pagar a que se referia. Ele negou que eu visse antes de pagar. Solicitei pela segunda vez o descritivo do valor, ele foi grosseiro e se negou novamente (eu paguei sem saber o motivo!!). Minha filha consultou uma pessoa, muito gentil, que tinha acabado de chegar. Ela verificou que ele estava cobrando erroneamente coisas referente ao apto 8 e não do nosso apto que era o 18. (3 andar)
