I love Hotel du Lac in Bellagio! The lake views of the huge mountains, beautiful Lake Como & the sky right in front of us from our prestige deluxe room with balcony were absolutely spectacular and breathtaking!! The balcony of our room was the perfect spot to see the daily sunset. I love the neutral tones and the comfortable aesthetics of our recently renovated room. We looked forward to relaxing in our room after a full day of galavanting around the villages/towns of Lake Como. The buffet breakfast was amazing. I can't get over the incredible views from the breakfast dining area. We got to enjoy every morning with breakfast this huge panoramic view of Lake Como and its impressive mountains. There was a large selection of hot items, pastries, granola, lots of different variety of fruits, salads, vegetables, as well as teas and made to order coffee. The staff was very friendly and eager to answer our questions and to help. Another great part of Hotel Du Lac in Bellagio is its location. It is located in the heart and center of Bellagio. It is located steps from all the restaurants, shops and beautiful sites of Bellagio; even the ferry station is literally right in front of the hotel. If we ever have the good fortune of returning to Bellagio in Lake Como, we'd love to stay here again!!!

The staff overall were amazing! The hotel experience was also incredible. One of my favorite hotels in Europe. The reception desk was super inviting, informative, friendly and helpful. That is so important to me when we arrive. Hotel had fantastic air conditioning which was super helpful. Location was perfect. Rooms exceptional with amazing balcony views. We would gladly come back! From the moment we arrived, Hotel du Lac gave us what was, without question, the best hotel experience we have ever had. We travel internationally often and have stayed at many wonderful hotels around the world, but this one stands out above all the rest. A special surprise was arriving during the hotel’s 70th anniversary celebration. We were invited to join the festivities on our very first night, and it was such an incredible experience. Spending the evening celebrating with the owners, their family, and the local community made us feel like we were more than just guests, we truly felt like part of the family. Everyone on the staff was amazing, genuinely kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. Every interaction felt sincere, and you could tell how much pride everyone takes in making each guest’s stay special. Meeting members of the owner’s family made the experience even more memorable, and their warmth and hospitality are something we will never forget. The location is perfect, the rooms are wonderful, and the views of Lago di Como are spectacular. But what really makes Hotel du Lac so special is the people. They turned an already beautiful trip into one we will remember for the rest of our lives. Thank you to everyone at Hotel du Lac for making our stay so unforgettable. We will absolutely be back, and we cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

Thank you for a lovely stay. We came as part of our honeymoon. Due to high demand when we were booking (sign of a good hotel) we had a Deluxe Room for 3 nights and then a Standard for the final. The staff were very accommodating of this and helped us with the move. Rooms were lovely and spacious and well decorated. Breakfast was great and lots of options. Didn’t eat at the hotel on an evening but ate at Artura for lunch which was incredible. Thank you for making our stay amazing and would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed three wonderful nights at Hotel du Lac in Bellagio! The location is central, the service was exceptional, and our room was super clean and well-equipped. Every day we were greeted by the welcoming staff at the front desk and throughout the hotel. They answered questions, made recommendations, and arranged transportation for us back to MXP, all done with smiles! We had a positively delicious dinner at their restaurant, Gioya, on our first night at Hotel du Lac and enjoyed cocktails each night at the rooftop bar, with great music and amazing views of Lake Como! A beautiful breakfast buffet is provided each morning. We give Hotel du Lac our highest recommendation and hope to return with our family next year!

Every moment of our time at hotel du lac was special. Prior to arrival we received timely and informative responses to our questions, upon arrival we received warm service from reception staff from the moment of walking to our room until our departure, including assistance with travel plans impacted by local strikes. Our reservation at the rooftop bar Celeste was beautiful, our room accommodations were both clean and elegant, and the hotel staff were kind and hospitable throughout our entire stay- I wish I could name them all to give them the gratitude they deserve for their kindness. I’ve spent the last 5 years working in Italy in the summer and I hope to come back soon. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It has everything you want in one place and is perfectly located. We stayed 4 nights at the Hotel du Lac. We had an exceptional experience. Rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Location is superb. The staff is professional, courteous and friendly. We met so many wonderful staff members. Judy was absolutely lovely each morning we saw her for breakfast. Alessio was the first staff member we met at the front desk. He was helpful and welcoming. Kudos to the entire staff. Breakfast was delicious - wonderful assortment of foods and beverages. All tasty and fresh. I highly recommend your hotel to anyone staying in the Bellagio area.

The owners are very involved, and their presence adds a personal, welcoming touch that you don’t often find. The building itself is beautiful, and the rooms are comfortable with thoughtful details everywhere you look. Food and drinks are excellent, and the rooftop bar Celeste is a standout. Even the large ice cubes in our cocktails had “Celeste” imprinted on them—one of those small touches that shows how much care goes into everything they do. Thank you for a wonderful 5 nights. The staff, when we arrived, helped with the bags, accommodated the car transfers, and helped us get a boat for the day. Front desk staff was top-notch. The staff in the morning was amazing, every single person. One woman made it extra special by bringing our daughter a hot chocolate in the morning. We did not run out but a full bottle just feels more luxurious than an empty one. Hair Conditioner in the room would be great, as well as some small wash cloths. The spa is gorgeous! Would be nice if the hot tub/pool was kept a bit warmer. Thank you for everything!

Wonderful experience from checking in to checking out. Bellagio itself is overrun by day tourists. Thus, recommend to arrive late after 5 pm and leave next day before 11 am. That way will get a wonderful peaceful evening and dinner as well as early morning walk around and amazing breakfast experience.

This hotel should receive the highest commendation for their staff, service, professionalism, communication and hospitality! We initially booked through Booking.com and had to book 3 individual times to cover the four days we were going to be at the hotel. The hotel contacted us indicating that they would be able to accommodate us by only changing rooms once and that they will move all of our belongings for us. We inquired into transportation from Milan train station, and they responded immediately with different options of traveling to the hotel and costs. We chose to have a driver who arrived promptly with explicit instructions on meeting him after we got off the train with our luggage. We loved the hotel, the service and location and would recommend it to anyone wishing to visit Bellagio!

We traveled with our 7th month old and were offered diapers, changing table, and bath tub. They also accommodated a high chair for us during each dining experience and kept our stroller safe in the lobby during our stay. Included parking was a huge plus too.

Although we did not stay at the hotel we dined with yiu and enjoyed breakfast on the piazza. On our last day we enjoyed many bottles of vino also on the piazza and the reception team went above and beyond to help our family get a taxi to the airport as the fast ferries were all cancelled. From the meeting the owners, to working with the manager on some last minute unexpected changes on our end, to the servers in the restaurant and the housecleaning staff, everyone was kind and the customer service top notch! We had to switch rooms (due to changes on our end) and I forgot my necklace in the shower of the first room. I didn’t realize it until they moved us into our new room and found my necklace there waiting for me. Thank you! The location of the hotel is also perfect. My husband and I just returned from four nights at Hotel du Luc. It was absolutely fantastic! EVERYTHING was delightful, from the desk staff, no matter who it was, to the SUPER clean rooms daily taken care, to the sauna, availability of different messages (which we benefitted from) and the staff there were very skilled. The food at the restaurant was delicious and served decoratively. Each morning we were eating a superb breakfast served daily with a kind, professional, attentive service. I could keep going on with this Hotel. In addition to all of this the culture, scenery and beauty out states anything. YOU will not be disappointed.

We had trouble with the TV directions being only in Italian. While it was her job, this lady rushed right up to our room and fixed the problem. I would like to express my appreciation for Chiara at the front desk who was exceptionally helpful, welcoming and pleasant. She answered all of our questions, gave excellent advice and suggestions for things to do in Bellagio and was always so cheerful and professional. Great location but difficult to reach by vehicle. It would be nice if reception staff had more accurate information about boat services. They were not helpful at all in this regard. Spa area needs better maintenance-we found alot of old towels on the beds in the spa as if no one regularly cleans up there during operating hours. Breakfast staff was pleasant but overwhelmed during busy hours and coffee becomes cold quickly when served in open pitchers! Overall an enjoyable stay!

The room was spotless and we loved our room(33). We ate in the cafe downstairs. The food was average at best which was a disappointment. Staff were lovely.

Wir durften 5 Tage im Hotel verbringen, ein wunderschönes Zimmer erwartete uns. Das Bett war super bequem. Das Bad mit einer wunderschönen großen Dusche und allem Komfort einfach herrlich. Unser Hund Sammy war im Hotel sehr willkommen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und die Auswahl war sehr groß und vielfältig. Das Personal war sehr nett. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

The staff at the hotel went above and beyond. Family owned, they are always there to help with all of our questions and we had many since it was our first time in the area. The hotel could not have been in a better location right on the water in the town of Bellagio. The breakfast was great (bacon crispy) and we were there when the rooftop bar opened for the season which was nice to go to for a cocktail and snacks! The bed was very comfortable, it was the only bed that was not hard on our entire Italy trip.

I would give this hotel 5 stars. We loved every single day spent there: lovely staff, amazing views, perfect location. We have rented a car and have been provided with a garage. The road from the airport wasn’t as difficult as we were expecting, there was a wiggly road at the end, but not too narrow, two cars can pass. The room was very quickly served with TLC. The breakfast was with a very good variety of choices. We would definitely recommend this place.

We booked a standard room and were upgraded to room 61 on the top floor next to the terrace and had a partial view of the lake. We absolutely LOVED it and will stay here again! We also reserved the spa one evening and had it to ourselves - it was such a treat! One morning, I got a 60-minute deep tissue massage, and it was so wonderful. The restaurant on the ground level was absolutely fantastic, and the hotel offered the best complimentary breakfast with the best view. We loved our time here!

This was a wonderful experience. Firstly, the staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful, as well as efficient and knowlegeable. All answers were "yes" and never "this is not possible". The room was great and functioned well. By the time we got back from breakfast it was made up. There's a new spa. The hotel is situated on the waterfront in town where there are shops and cafes. Highly recommend.

All of the staff were truly amazing, nothing was too much trouble for them. This is what separates good hotels from great hotels. The restaurant and fare offered was also of a quality not associated with most hotels. We enjoyed the meals so much, we dined there four nights out of five, having discovered the restaurant on our second day. The hotel also offers a roof top terrace/bar, where you can relax and take in the glorious views of Lake Como.

The phone usb charger sockets next to the bed and 13 amp English socket was genius and meant my travel adapters were redundant . I requested a gluten free breakfast the offering was very limited and staff were for 2 days out of 4 not forthcoming at all on availability of product For an international hotel I thought this was poor While I understand you may not wish to put gluten free products on display but when asked for a full description of the offering would have been good

We LOVED our stay with you. This was our first time to Lake Como and it was such a treat staying here. We enjoyed breakfast every morning (amazing assortment) and the spa-we even convinced my parents to use the sauna. It was the best start to our trip. Will stay again and recommend to all our friends

The hotel room was very, very nice and the views of the lake from our rooms as well as at breakfast and the rooftop terrace were nothing short of stunning. Gorgeous on a sunny day! The staff were wonderful, knowledgeable, helpful, attentive, courteous and did a great job. They should all be commended. The full breakfast was great as was the staff and service for that meal. The location of the hotel in Bellagio was also perfect being in the center, really the heart of Bellagio. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Perfecto!

Great team! The bubbly lady at the reception always added a positive vibe to the reception and offered a great chat, even late at night. Also the breakfast Manager (blonde lady) was very pleasant and a pleasure to speak with. Overall the team was happy to be there and this is extremely important.

Very enjoyable. The receptionists spoke English which was helpful for my wife. They were all very professional. Our view was amazing, it was our first time at lake Como. The room was very comfortable. The accommodation with our car was fantastic, I had not booked the garage but there was one available. We had a boat tour at 11:00am when we were supposed to check out, but they allowed me to use the garage until that was done. I felt special being able to drive in ZTL areas.
