Everyone went out of their way to make things possible - an ion to ion your dress, changing a room at short notice, special requests during breakfest... the Wifi was very good and worked faultlessly during the entiire week, this was mich appreciated. We had one dinner in the restaurant and the atmosphere and the food were outstanding. A special shoutout to the gentlemen at the reception, both day and night, who with their kindness, expert knowledge of the city and helpfulness were the perfect embodiment of Hotel Politeama. I would like to congratulate you on concierge service - Filippo Gambino was very professional- I was travelling alone & had emailed him in advance of my arrival about suggestions for tours & he organised a programme of tours - when I arrived he met me warmly- arranged additional events , advised on a wide range of tours hooked me up with another solo traveller ,& when get your guide tour never turned up he arranged private tour with. No notice when he was not actually scheduled in work , he offered to arrange taxi when an evening event finished - & was an outstanding member of the team - he also offered to arrange any additional events for my tour from my Taormina base although I had pre arranged this - he was warm & friendly with all guests & made my whole holiday travelling for the first time solo very special. - Another cooking event was cancelled & he scheduled an alternative trip for me advising on a range of tours at varying prices & what each tour offered & what he felt was most suited to my situation . I cannot adequately express my appreciation for the way in which the persons (Joshua), went out of their way to offer their concerns over my light headed reaction to the heat on the first day but more importantly, how everyone from the front desk to the cleaning lady asked how I was feeling after my accident. The Hotelteama simply made me feel that I was right at home in Sicily. My own son remarked how happy I seemed after my accident and I indicated it was because of the kind and gracious response from everyone. The head waiter in the rooftop restaurant was very hospitable and welcoming whilst being very efficient. We rated it the best quality/price dining experience in Palermo (we also ate at CitySea) and liked it so much we spent two nights there. The food and wine was excellent and well priced. We loved the cocktails too. All with beauitiful views.

We had a wonderful stay at your hotel. The room was perfect with all amenities we required. The staff were excellent and helped us with all aspects of our trip and were always friendly and willing to help. The staff at breakfast and cleaning staff were all very pleasant and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and quiet. The only recommendation would be to provide a full glass of Prosecco and not half a glass as this was a nice touch. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice. Overall great experience and would like to come back here when I’m over again in the summer.

We had an incident where our room was given to another party and they walked in on us at 9pm at night. Seeing that the room was occupied they apologized and left. Your reception desk apologized and handled the mishap well. Mistakes happen, however we stressed this was not acceptable! We asked for and reception immediately approved complimentary breakfast. Thank you We booked a twin room and had a beautiful room at the front of the hotel. However, we had to sleep with ear plugs as it was noisy. We were returning for another night 2 days later and requested a different quiet room. Reception provided us with a different room not at the front of the hotel even though this was difficult for you as we were told all your twin rooms are at the front. We also received complimentary breakfast again. Once again excellent customer service, your reception handled it very well. Thank you Your breakfast buffet was outstanding! Best we had our entire trip and we stayed at 4 different hotels in Sicily. Thank you

On Monday, April 28 about 5pm, as I started to our room, I tripped on the lobby stairs, striking my forehead on the floor. Immediately, your young female front receptionist rushed to my aid with cotton and medical fluid to treat my wound! She was very concerned that I was okay and not seriously injured. She offered to find me medical care if I wanted. From then on, each time I passed the front desk, she asked about my wellbeing! I failed to get her name but she and all other members of your front lobby staff on that afternoon were right there to help me! You employ helpful, caring staff! Raffaele at the front desk was wonderful and so helpful. I was in Palermo for a unique situation. My mom was on vacay and fell and had to go to hospital/clinic and have surgery last Wednesday. I flew in on Sunday/Monday and the hotel was very accommodating with me not knowing when I would need to go back to California with my mom or when she would be allowed to fly home. They were just very nice and did not create any more stress for me at all in an otherwise stressful situation with my mom. So thank you for that and the area the hotel was in, was great and walkable to so many things! Can't wait to go back!!
