Die Zimmer Reinigung war ausgezeichnet. Schnell und gründlich. Und die Handtücher wurden täglich gewechselt,auch die fürs Baden und auch wenn man sie nicht auf den Boden geworfen hatte, was wir für ausgezeichneten service empfinden. Es hätte uns zb bei den außen Handtüchern hätte uns jeden zweiten Tag ausgereicht. Das Personal an der Bar war ausgezeichnet. Wir haben jeden Tag genossen. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Wir waren am 22..07 während unseres Aufenthaltes bei ihnen bei den Puccini-Festspielen in Torre del Lago und kamen erst gegen 01.00 Uhr morgens wieder zum Hotel. Der Nachtportier war sehr hilfsbereit und war uns in der Nacht sofort zur Stelle, um uns einen Parkplatz zu zu weisen. Grundsätzlich ist das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

In general the front of the house staff are excellent kind and most helpful. I wish to highlight 3 team members in particular for their over and above service and kindness. 1) Brenda Urquiaga: the kindest and the most friendly waitress always smiling and always running to help. Seeing her at the beginning of each day put a smile on my own face. Without doubt an outstanding employee. 2)Estefania Carruega: a happy kind waitress always willing to help in a natural kind way. 3) Cristian Stassi your superb barman not only as sa barman at his job but more so as one willing to go one step more to help a client...I truly appreciate him. 4) Alessandro and his reception/ concierge team are excellent and on the ball as is your facchino. in particular the young Spanish boy in reception is an excellent representative of the care and devotion your entire team take with guests.

Your staff in the bar and in the reception are very friendly and correct!! Same for the pool people. If you want to improve: look at the organization of your breakfast. Nearly every morning the glasses for water or juice were finished. A new tray with clean glasses was finally brought by staff but in view of the queu waiting for glasses also finished in one minute…

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Especially the waitresses, waiters and bar staff. They were often very busy especially as both hot drinks machines were out of order at breakfast. They returned with coffee and tea promptly and managed to lay the tables efficiently for the next guests. They worked very hard.

Pas grand-chose à rajouter le seul, petit bémol, c’est la pression de la douche, pas assez forte, mais sinon tout était parfait la réservation au téléphone c’est fait facilement grâce a une personne très agréable au téléphone à la réception, du personnel très à l’écoute,les chambres chaque jour, parfaitement et rapidement rangé nettoyées. Le petit déjeuner somptueux le personnel aux petits soins. Et si je devais rajouter quelque chose, ça serait une mention spéciale pour votre serveur au bar le soir qui nous a donné envie de s’installer pour boire un verre tous les soirs avant et après le restaurant dans il nous a fait un accueil sympathique et personnel. Ja, wir möchten uns bitte Rezeption bedanken, da da wir ein anderes Zimmer bekommen hatten. Nachdem wir laute Zimmernachbarn hatten . Das zweite Zimmer war dann auch laut, da wir von oben eine Person hatten die einen sehr schweren Gang hatte. Ansonsten möchte ich mich auch beim Zimmer Personal bedanken. Die es immer wieder schön gereinigt hatten und auch die Handtücher wurden ständig ausgetauscht.

S'il fallait distinguer quelq'un, une mention speciale à Christian le barman, au serveur du restaurant parlant admirablement français, au chef cuisinier, à la charmante serveuse aux traits possiblement et legèrement asiatiques, à l'ensemble du personnel de la réception et au monsieur venu nous aider pour mettre les bagages dans la voiture, à votre equipe en charge du menage. Il nous semblé avoir perçu des embellissements de l' hotel depuis 2024. Pour nous, c'est "notre" hôtel à Sestri Levante. Si les œufs brouillés étaient vraiment brouillés et non coagulés, ce serait génial mais désastreux pour le poids. En dépit des circonstances médicales nous concernant, un très grand merci et bravo !

When we arrived we were disappointed by the small size of our room and lack of any enjoyable view. This was speedily remedied when we contacted reception and we were given another room which overlooked the breakfast area and garden beyond. We found all the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. On reception, Francesco always greeted us with a smile, answered any queries and booked a taxi for us. Thank you. All the staff serving at breakfast or evening meals were friendly and helpful. One particular waitress, who told us she came from Argentinia, stood out from the rest. She was attentive, friendly and welcoming, and ensured our choices arrived speedily. We thought she was an outstanding asset to the staff team, although everyone we encountered was unfailing friendly and helpful. We definitely enjoyed our staff. We hope to have the chance to return and will certainly recommend the hotel to our friends.

Yes, Joaquin at the reception was absolutely wonderful. He was kind, helpful, polite and respectful, every interaction with him was so great. I hope the hotel sees what a great employee they have here and his potential. That being said, ALL of the staff at the front desk day and night really were spectacular. A big thanks to Mario as well as the older gentleman that worked the night shift, what an amazing team. It is these individuals that make the hotel such a great place to visit. I will absolutely be back because of them and of course because the property is so beautiful.

I am still telling friends about this because it is very rare at hotel breakfasts! Unica pecca forse è la colazione, per un quattro stelle apprezzerei meno succhi pronti e una spremuta fresca.

Accoglienza ecceziobale per garbo, professionalità e precisione. Ci è stata assegnata la camera 824 al 3° puano. Avremmo preferito una camera più ariosa e trovare delle bittiglie di acqua in camera. Suggeriamo inoltre di sostituire il bollitore per bevande calde con una macchinetta per caffè a cialde/cspsule, oramai diffusissime nelle strutture albeeghiere di un certo livello. Complimenti anche per il personale di sala (in particolare una giovane donna argentina) e per l'addetto alla sistemazione dell'auto.

On behalf of my Great Rail Journeys group, I would like to convey my grateful thanks to all the staff at the Grand Villa Balbi. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay: the staff; the rooms; breakfasts; gardens and communal areas. We would have appreciated air conditioning in the rooms as for British people, the temperatures were very warm and having the windows open attracted biting insects. I hope I will return with another group in the future.

Villa Balbi was an amazing location for us in Sestri Levante. Peaceful and quiet during September, plenty of space on the public beach’s. The staff at Villa Balbi were very helpful, including the reception, concierge and restaurant. Complimentary breakfast was a big bonus for us and the room and view was stunning. Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren wir durften einige wundervolle Tage im Grand Hotel Villa Balbi verbringen und möchten uns herzlich für diesen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt bedanken. Schon bei der Ankunft spürt man die besondere Atmosphäre dieses Hauses – elegant, stilvoll und gleichzeitig warm und einladend. Das Ambiente ist bis ins Detail geschmackvoll gestaltet und vermittelt ein Gefühl von Geborgenheit, sodass man sich vom ersten Moment an wohlfühlt. Unser Zimmer war großzügig, äußerst komfortabel und bot alles, was man sich für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt wünschen kann. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den aufmerksamen und freundlichen Service: Das gesamte Team war stets professionell, zuvorkommend und gleichzeitig herzlich, sodass man sich als Gast, herzlich wirklich willkommen gefühlt hat. Auch die kulinarischen Erlebnisse waren auf höchstem Niveau – jedes Frühstück in der Parkanlage und im Restaurantbereich Genuss für alle Sinne. Mein Großvater hatte selbst in diesem Teil Liguriens ind den Grandhotels an der Riviera um 1910 gearbeitet und es war schön indiese Welt einzutauchen. Wir reisen mit den schönsten Erinnerungen ab und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team für diese außergewöhnliche Zeit in Ihrem großartigen Hotel! Herzlichst Gerhard Mayr

Hôtel, très bien, entretenu, personnel à la réception, Courtois, très compréhensif. Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas plus de service, comme par exemple du soin, des massages, spa. Surtout qu’il y en a dans d’autres hôtels, mais qui refuse l’accès à ceux qui ne sont pas clients. Il devrait y avoir des échanges avec les autres hôtels. Attention aussi aux enfants en bas âge Qui dès 7h du matin, hurlent dans les couloirs sans respecter le repos de ceux qui dorment

Thank you for preserving this wonderful place. With regard to the building and the gardens, please keep everything as it is. We love the typical Italian atmosphere and we have been staying with you for the 4th or 5th time. We first visited when our twins were still teens, now they joined us for their 32nd birthday that we celebrated in Sestri Levante. We also tried the restaurant one evening, but the menue did not meet our expectations. However, we absolutely love the Bar ( every evening) and the entire team of staff has been fantastic. My stay with my granddaughter was very pleasant. The room was clean, the service excellent and the breakfast buffet was especially varied and delicious. The 2 meals we ate in the restaurant were also excellent. Perhaps if there was a bigger choice for the dinner menu we would have eaten more meals in the hotel.
