Our stay was only short so didn’t have any expectations but it was pretty basic but absolutely fine, for the two nights we were there. Was clean, tidy and well equipped for out stay, bed was comfortable. Atmosphere was good. Staff were absolutely great. I’d go back.

We had a very early departure and staff ordered our taxi the day prior, the staff at the desk made sure we were comfortable while waiting for the taxi at a very early hour. he brought us coffee, water, and snacks! We had an enjoyable week here and felt truly cared for. The location is excellent and it was easy to find. Room and bed was very comfortable. Always looked after by the cleaning staff! We had a wonderful stay! After travelling through Europe for 5 weeks, C Hotels Diplomat was clearly the best hotel that we stayed in. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, the reception was excellent and we were shown to our room. All information was clear and there was even a hand written welcome letter waiting for us. The room layout was excellent, location of the hotel exceptional and when we checked out, the lobby had a wonderful area to sit with complimentary coffee and water while we waited for our train. These things set your hotel above all else.

He is a really good ambassador for your company, giving us good tips on which local wines and spirits were nice to try alongside his local knowledge of places to visit in / near Florence. The staff were very friendly and extremely courteous. I can not recommend them any more highly - please pass on our thanks to the team for making this a very enjoyable stay. This hotel is a hidden gem and will be on our list for a future trip to Florence.

Overall the hotel is good and only the room space is abit small, there is no guide / instruction for the safe box and it is not convenient for the guests. In the bathrooms, the water in the shower drains very slowly and it should be improved.

Such a lovely place to stay…charming and helpful I reception. Ideal location for us as it was close. To both railway and bus stations and yet only seven minutes from Santa Maria Novella and close to the rest of the cultural sites. The staff continued to make sure everything was going well. We used the hotel bar and made use of Ahmed ‘s suggestions of possible places to eat. He was a delight behind the bar making tasty cocktails.
