The front desk staff were the most courteous, personable and charming people i have spoken to in Italy (from the service industry). They are so respectful, no power play in any way which is rare. We were so impressed by the courtesy, cleanliness, facilities and breakfasts. Our room was always cleaned so well too. A special thank you to the cleaning staff, the waiters and waitresses and to the reception and bar staff. A hotel to be proud of. If we visit Rome again (we’re getting older so find the travelling a bit challenging) we would stay at your Hotel Fiume. We found the trattoria round the corner (Essenze de Padova) so welcoming too.
