The receptionist who checked us in and out was absolutely professional and kind. He had read my request about a quiet high room and that I am staying here to receive medical treatment as I come to Rome for chemotherapy treatments every week and generally stay hear Mater Dei hospital at Hotel Degli Aranci Rome but they were booked. We enjoyed Hotel Fiume and the location very much, a short taxi to the hospital was nice. The kindness and understanding of the receptionist made our stay even more special. The breakfast was fresh, plenty of options, the area kept clean, very comfortable. We appreciate having this hotel for our hospital visits and have 3 upcoming reservations already made in July and August. Thank you, Janet Huenink

Staff were very helpful. We arrived early in very hot weather hoping to leave our bags until check in time, but the desk manager gave us coffee and asked us to wait while a room was prepared for us. He gave the impression that nothing was too much trouble and was very welcoming and hospitable. It was a wonderful stay. We hope to be back soon.

The front desk staff were the most courteous, personable and charming people i have spoken to in Italy (from the service industry). They are so respectful, no power play in any way which is rare.
