Carlos and reception staff are Top. We stay at nice hotels in Rome and no one matches their professionalism, courteousness and especially their kindness and understanding. Carlos always make our stay feel special, from the easy check in sometimes with an unexpected room upgrade, when you don’t feel well, this kind of kindness is healing! Carlos remembers us, and I so look forward to bringing our family from the US back here to stay when treatments end, his suggestion and I hold on to the positive message that he always reminds me about! The offer of a complimentary coffee and sweet is nice, too. We feel like family here!

I couldn’t put a positive comment about the food because we didn’t eat there but the restaurant recommended across the road was excellent-as was the cafe on the corner so we were very happy.

Carlos was not only welcoming but requests were done with finesse, meeting our total needs. The receptionist who checked us in and out was absolutely professional and kind. He had read my request about a quiet high room and that I am staying here to receive medical treatment as I come to Rome for chemotherapy treatments every week and generally stay hear Mater Dei hospital at Hotel Degli Aranci Rome but they were booked. We enjoyed Hotel Fiume and the location very much, a short taxi to the hospital was nice. The kindness and understanding of the receptionist made our stay even more special. The breakfast was fresh, plenty of options, the area kept clean, very comfortable. We appreciate having this hotel for our hospital visits and have 3 upcoming reservations already made in July and August. Thank you, Janet Huenink

Staff were very helpful. We arrived early in very hot weather hoping to leave our bags until check in time, but the desk manager gave us coffee and asked us to wait while a room was prepared for us. The flexibility your hotel offers in terms of check in and check out times, how late check out can be, and hour based rates is incredible. Everything else well done as well. This will be the first place i look at when i’m in rome in the future due to your flexibility. It is very appreciated. Response time really great, excellent communication. Breakfast was also great and the little bar in the lobby was a nice touch. I told my husband we need to come back and stay together because the staff were so great.
