The front desk folks were lovely and so professional. Checking in, the room did not have a bathtub which was important after a 32 hour trip and 11 hour time zone change, and from all the info available we thought there was a bathtub in the room. So, we requested another room with a tub and they moved us. Thanks so much, but we suggest you make it clear in the reservation process that you may or may not get a tub and if you need one to make sure you request it. Also, the breakfast staff were exceptional, top notch and very helpful. Please let them know how much we appreciated their services.

Sono arrivato il 14 sera e al mio arrivo è immediatamente stato chiaro che avevo commesso un errore in fase di prenotazione, La cortese addetta al check-in (mi scuso in ricordo il nome) e la direzione hanno risolto tutto in un lampo, rendendo un non evento quella che sarebbe potuta trasformarsi in una seria fonte di stress. Sono rimasto piacevolmente impressionato (e di hotel ne frequento molti). Grazie, purtroppo non vengo spesso a Napoli ma avete fatto un cliente e vi raccomanderò ad ogni occasione.

When I arrived with my tour group, I was feeling very unwell, and our rooms would not be ready till 3.00 pm. When I explained my situation, the person on reception found a room that I could use for the day, which was of immense help to me. I was able to lay down and rest and felt so much better. Anna and Paola were absolutely wonderful!!! The first night that we were there we met them in the bar. They were so friendly and made us feel so comfortable that we continued to go back in the evenings. We could have gone to any of the many bars in Napoli, but we always wanted to go back there. We saw them several times, breakfast, dinner and at the bar. They were always so great that we felt like we had known them a long time. They represented not only the hotel but Napoli very well.

I did not catch his name at Reception he was very friendly and helpful. We arrived at the hotel three hours early for check in and went outside to the bar to await our room and the gentleman came out a few minutes later to tell us our room would be ready in 20 mins. I would like to thank the reception staff for the promptness of their services when I happened to need a doctor to attend to my daughter. The doctor named Luca Credendino was one of the best doctors I have ever met. We had a wonderful stay in Napoli in large part to the staff of this fantastic hotel. They were able to accommodate an early check in for us. After a long day of travel, that was such a relief. The staff were all very friendly, attentive and professional. Our rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. The breakfast buffets had delicious food with a large variety of options. We had some clothes laundered as well during our stay and the quality of the cleaning and pressing exceeded our expectations. We also forgot some items behind and the staff was helpful in getting our items returned to us quickly. Overall, we would highly recommend the Gran Hotel Oriente.
