This is not really a complaint more (gentle suggestion) to help you improve. The shower / bathroom malfunction on one occasion with water making its way into the main room (not sure how this happened but something to do with the gradient on the bathroom floor?). I had to mop it up / use a small towel (there was quite a lot of water). The bed was comfortable, roomy, excellent. The room was also wonderfully quiet. That said, personally I would do away with the mini bar fridge .. the compressor came on and off during the night which was quite intrusive (it woke me up several times). There was no way to disable it easily. The loo paper could be of higher quality - this needs to be stronger. All in all superb, clean pleasant staff, great location 'thank you'. Your breakfast is really well done. Great selection and always fresh and tasty. This visit I especially enjoyed the salmon and scrambled eggs. My only wish is that you did not have a machine that makes the coffee as the coffee is just warm and certainly not the same as a freshly made cup. I do understand the reasons since it would take a person making coffees constantly.

I need to document names better; however, I have to compliment your front desk staff. They are the kindest and most helpful front desk team I've encountered while traveling in Italy, and most of the EU, to be honest. I would like to extend a special "Grazie Mille" to Serena who sent me a WhatsApp message in response to an email request, sent prior to arrival, for a larger room. When I booked online, only a single was available. She responded with a message and provided a couple of options. I was able to move to a larger room and was very happy for the space.

I travel to Ferrara 3-4 times a year for business to visit our manufacturing headquarters. After a not-so-great experience at a nearby hotel, I changed to the Carlton and am happy I did. I appreciate the efficiency of the staff, the amenities of the hotel (including on-site gym), the wonderful breakfast, and I truly appreciate that you provide extra bath towels along with a kettle in the room so I can make myself a cup of tea at the end of the day. I have suggested to my company that they recommend the Carlton to visiting employees and customers.
