I cannot speak highly enough of our whole stay from start to finish. The hotel is immaculately presented with so much charm and sophistication in the public areas. The gardens are mature and stunning. I imagine will be even more beautiful once everything is open for the summer season. However, more importantly than this, ALL of the staff at LaMedusa were wonderful and a pleasure to be with. It’s not fair to single anyone out for praise as everyone we interacted with were so pleasant and kind. That being said we did bond in particular with Gennaro, Milena and all of the staff for both breakfast service and in the Restaurant. Wow, the restaurant Donn’Eugenia was simply outstanding. We said during our stay that it was consistently the best food we have ever eaten. Amazing. We are heavier now than when we arrived because we could not say no to any of it! A real gastronomic experience and cannot recommend this highly enough. We loved our week long stay at LaMedusa. If we are in this part of the world at anytime in the future we will only ever stay here. It’s a credit to everyone that works there. Thank you for being so nice to us. X

What a fabulous stay! The front desk/concierge provided outstanding service. From the moment we arrived and greeted by Fabio, it was an amazing experience. Many, many thanks to Fabio, Achille and Ana who assisted us with booking all our tours, taxi rides and dinner reservations. Everything was perfect. And I cannot forget to thank Luigi who made the most fantastic drinks and provided outstanding service to us in the lounge after a long(and exhausting) day of walking and sightseeing in southern Italy. La Medusa is a beautiful hotel and the professionalism and courtesy of the staff at all levels and in all sections is of a very hight standard. Nothing is too much trouble. This is what marks this hotel out from others of the same classification. We would like to thank the Reception team for helping my husband out with repairing his suitcase which was damaged on the inbound flight and most particularly for the care and attention we received from Gennaro and his team in the restaurant. I need a gluten free diet and this was managed superbly throughout my stay. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone we knew who was travelling in the area. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay. I was very impressed by the attitude and professionalism of the staff. The culture the leadership has built with its staff is impressive. The environments were all beautiful and well kept. The pool water was too cold to use but the gardens, room and views were all amazing. Food at breakfast and lunch was delicious. The room service sandwich was very expensive and not very nice unfortunately. Shuttle bus was useful as hotel is a little cut off and you can’t get to places by foot.

I am astounded by the professionalism and courtesy of the staff of the hotel. They fact that they valet my car for free (or a part of my purchase), a welcome drink with a presentation of what you can do in the hotel. Free shuttling to certain local areas and only 10 euros if outside those local areas. I only stayed 1 night so I wasn't able to properly enjoy the amenities of the hotel. What a magical place! We had plans to tour the area and found ourselves not wanting to leave the hotel🥰 our room was clean and beautiful with an amazing balcony with the most wonderful view. The pool is magnificent, the restaurant and bar and the breakfast at the rooftop with breathtaking views. I have to give a huge credit to the hotel staff, the bartender Danino, antonio from the reception and above all to Gennaro who made our stay even more memorable.

All the staff were truly amazing! The day we arrived we were greeted by Anna who was so very helpful and polite. We attended the bar and met a very charming young man named Danilo, even though he was young his skills as a bartender were very good!! We also dined at the wonderful restaurant we were served by Milena and Vincenzo, we were advised by a very charismatic man named Gennaro. The cuisine was exceptional!! The service was first class. The spa was excellent and staff of Patrizia and Maria, were fabulous. The lifeguard Stefano was very friendly and extremely helpful! We could truly not fault anything!!!

The man in the suit whose name we didn’t get but I assume to be the manager made sure nothing was too much trouble including how long my friends eggs were boiled for. The overall attention to detail was excellent and we did not come across any member of staff that didn’t greet us professionally with a smile.

Everyone was very welcoming. Overly accommodating and attentive. They helped to celebrate my birthday with a cake my husband ordered which was incredible. The only issue is that the staff mentioned that they put everything in the car and when we arrived at the destination the cake was missing. They must have overlooked it. Considering we paid for two nights, could only use one due to the delay and additionally paid for a cake we were not able to enjoy, I would have expected someone to reach out with at the very least a small gesture. Otherwise staff was incredibly.

The chef’s cooking was outstanding, and the service privided by Gennaro in the restaurant was second to none. He created a very good rapport with us and even helped us plan some of our tours by recommending where to visit and even liaising with reception to get taxi organised for us.
