We had the most wonderful time, nothing was too much trouble - lending us chargers because we brought the wrong adapters, printing tickets for us. Gennaro and his team in the restaurant were so lovely and friendly - special thanks to the chef who creates the most beautiful food. The attention given to guests by the staff in general was impressive, whether it was the cleaning staff, reception or serving staff. Of special mention must surely be Pierpaolo at reception who gave us so many time saving and useful tips of what to visit and where to dine, and Gennaro who left no stone unturned to make our breakfast time as relaxed and enjoyable and personalised as possible. The staff at La Medusa was absolutely incredible! From the moment we walked in we were greeted by Anna with a smile and she was most helpful in not only assisting to get our luggage to our room but in guiding us to the bar for a drink after a long day of traveling. She also helped coordinate a car rental which saves us so much time. Paolo was also extremely helpful at the desk. A special thank you tkk ok the entire staff at the restaurant in the fourth floor, especially Genaro. His knowledge of food was impeccable and we appreciated all his suggestions from wine to aperitifs and beyond. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the special attention to detail. Auch hervorzuheben, ist das wundervolle upgrade als SLH Mitglied und der Umsetzung des Wunsch nach einem Balkon wurde exakt erfüllt. Selbst bei Fragen zu Sightseeing wurde professionelle Hilfe gleistet. Generell war immer ein Lächeln beim Betreten des Empfangs gegeben und für einen kleinen Small Talk gegeben. Auch die Bar mit der einzigartigen Atmosphäre und dem sehr höflichen Personal welche einen sehr guten Gimlet kreiert hatte war ein Vergnügen. Generell entspricht die Professionalität und Empathie der Mitarbeitet exakt dem Anforderungsprofil von Small Luxury Hotel. Auch ist die Kollegin welche als Sommelier im regulären Restaurant arbeitet, und im Frühstücksrestaurant zweimal ausgeholfen hat eine Bereicherung für den Gast. Ich hätte mir gewünscht alle Mitarbeiter im Frühstücksrestaurant würden diese Leidenschaft und Herzlichkeit am Gast leben.

Your beautiful hotel is truly a haven of peace and tranquility. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The service is impeccable and discreet. In the evening, the restaurant offers a varied and delicious three-course menu. The gardens are magnificent, where you can relax in comfortable lounge chairs in the shade of lemon and orange trees. Unfortunately, I was unable to enjoy the wellness center or the beautiful outdoor pool as I was traveling at the end of October. It is a perfect central location from which to explore Naples, Capri, Sorrento, and the Amalfi Coast. Thank you for your attentive care. I will be sure to recommend your hotel.

The building and grounds were spectacular. Sadly, we couldn’t use the pool because the water was too cold. All staff were professional and friendly. We enjoyed the two bartenders that we met and chatted with, they were knowledgeable and friendly. Front desk was engaging and delightful. Your taxi driver was professional, engaging and Canadian ❤️ we enjoyed our breakfast in the 4th floor dining room, it was spotless and plenty of choices. We especially enjoyed our lunch and supper in the atrium with the delightful woman who was a gracious, knowledgeable & attentive host.

These two and made sure we had a very good tour of Pompeii and correct arrangements with the train service back to the Rome airport. Antonio (?) your Canadian driver was very helpful to and from Pompeii and later to ensure we had the correct ticketing for the train back to FCO Rome. The staff in all the breakfast and dinning room were very helpful in choosing dishes and wine. They all helped make our meals very enjoyable.

I have stayed in many fine hotels in many countries and La Medusa is one of the finest. The structural environment is exceptional as is the food and drink offer. However, what makes it stand out is the charm and expertise of the the staff. Without exception the staff were charming, discreet and expert, this applies to everyone we encountered, whether cleaning or in a position of seniority. This is a rare achievement. Clearly we were there at a very quiet time and, sadly for only two nights. Thank you for a memorable stay.

When we booked LaMedusa with the travel agent she told us the hotel was in Sorrento. We had excursions set up leaving from Sorrento so we had to take a taxi to and from Sorrento every day of our stay. The staff at the reception desk were incredibly kind, welcoming and accommodating. They made arrangements everyday for us to get a taxi to Sorrento. The gentleman we had as the taxi driver was equally as kind to us. Upon returning to LaMedusa in the evening we were always greeted with kindness and smiles. The lovely young lady Claudia who checked with us every night to see if we needed towels or if she could do anything for us was always very sweet and accommodating. We absolutely loved LaMedusa and would definitely return. The panoramic views stretched from the sparkling coastline to the distant mountains like waking up in a post card.

Arrived from Philadelphia, PA excited to be in Italy! Our small group arrived not knowing what to expect? The grounds, scenic views, food, beautiful architecture, luxurious appointments and attentive staff. Worded through the language barriers. Easily overcome! Spoke to another guest from England by the pool. “ In a few hours I will walk my bride down the aisle and be wed.” This place is Magical, trust me! The bride and groom flew a long way! Something to be said for that, Magical indeed! Most every Hotel, just a place to stow your gear and lay down for a snooze. Here we felt like an invited guest in a Italian Chateau! My wife and I opted for a couples Spa experience. Well worth every Euro! Tout est parfait : l'hôtel lui-même, sa décoration, ses installations, ses merveilleux extérieurs, son animation en soirée et ses chambres, mais aussi les prestations de restauration au déjeuner, au diner et au petit déjeuner, qui lorsque nous étions venus la première fois n'était pas encore au magnifique 4ème étage. Tout le personnel est très agréable et très professionnel, félicitations à tous ! J'espère pouvoir revenir avant 20 ans ! en tout cas je recommanderai votre établissement à tous ceux qui me demandent un conseil pour leur séjour dans la baie de Naples.

This was a perfect place to stay beginning with the welcome staff explaining all of the amenities to the beautifully clean room and deliciously prepared breakfasts!!! The first night we ate dinner, it was absolutely delicious but there wasn't enough food. However, the next evening there was an abundance of deliciously prepared food!!! Front staff was exceptionally helpful and courteous. We arrived early and hadn't expected to get our room right away; however they gave us a drink and had us wait a few minutes while the rooms were prepared and then were given entry. We also had dinner at the restaurant and the wait staff was also very friendly and helpful. The entire facility was beautiful adn very enjoyable.

We felt we were treated like royalty especially by Anna, Giano (restaurant manager), Fabio and another gentleman that was there throughout most of our stay in the restaurants but we can’t remember his name.
