The building and grounds were spectacular. Sadly, we couldn’t use the pool because the water was too cold. All staff were professional and friendly. We enjoyed the two bartenders that we met and chatted with, they were knowledgeable and friendly. Front desk was engaging and delightful. Your taxi driver was professional, engaging and Canadian ❤️ we enjoyed our breakfast in the 4th floor dining room, it was spotless and plenty of choices. We especially enjoyed our lunch and supper in the atrium with the delightful woman who was a gracious, knowledgeable & attentive host.

Reception was very welcoming and helpful, especially your two younger employees, Anna and Vinnie. These two and made sure we had a very good tour of Pompeii and correct arrangements with the train service back to the Rome airport. Antonio (?) your Canadian driver was very helpful to and from Pompeii and later to ensure we had the correct ticketing for the train back to FCO Rome. The staff in all the breakfast and dinning room were very helpful in choosing dishes and wine. They all helped make our meals very enjoyable.

I have stayed in many fine hotels in many countries and La Medusa is one of the finest. The structural environment is exceptional as is the food and drink offer. However, what makes it stand out is the charm and expertise of the the staff. Without exception the staff were charming, discreet and expert, this applies to everyone we encountered, whether cleaning or in a position of seniority. This is a rare achievement. Clearly we were there at a very quiet time and, sadly for only two nights. Thank you for a memorable stay.

When we booked LaMedusa with the travel agent she told us the hotel was in Sorrento. We had excursions set up leaving from Sorrento so we had to take a taxi to and from Sorrento every day of our stay. The staff at the reception desk were incredibly kind, welcoming and accommodating. They made arrangements everyday for us to get a taxi to Sorrento. The gentleman we had as the taxi driver was equally as kind to us. Upon returning to LaMedusa in the evening we were always greeted with kindness and smiles. The lovely young lady Claudia who checked with us every night to see if we needed towels or if she could do anything for us was always very sweet and accommodating. We absolutely loved LaMedusa and would definitely return. The panoramic views stretched from the sparkling coastline to the distant mountains like waking up in a post card.

Spoke to another guest from England by the pool. “ In a few hours I will walk my bride down the aisle and be wed.” This place is Magical, trust me! The bride and groom flew a long way! Je suis donc revenu cette fois-ci avec mon papa et je dois dire que l'expérience était à nouveau fabuleuse. Tout est parfait : l'hôtel lui-même, sa décoration, ses installations, ses merveilleux extérieurs, son animation en soirée et ses chambres, mais aussi les prestations de restauration au déjeuner, au diner et au petit déjeuner, qui lorsque nous étions venus la première fois n'était pas encore au magnifique 4ème étage. Tout le personnel est très agréable et très professionnel, félicitations à tous ! J'espère pouvoir revenir avant 20 ans ! en tout cas je recommanderai votre établissement à tous ceux qui me demandent un conseil pour leur séjour dans la baie de Naples.

This was a perfect place to stay beginning with the welcome staff explaining all of the amenities to the beautifully clean room and deliciously prepared breakfasts!!! We arrived early and hadn't expected to get our room right away; however they gave us a drink and had us wait a few minutes while the rooms were prepared and then were given entry. I cannot speak highly enough of our whole stay from start to finish. The hotel is immaculately presented with so much charm and sophistication in the public areas. The gardens are mature and stunning. I imagine will be even more beautiful once everything is open for the summer season. However, more importantly than this, ALL of the staff at LaMedusa were wonderful and a pleasure to be with. It’s not fair to single anyone out for praise as everyone we interacted with were so pleasant and kind. That being said we did bond in particular with Gennaro, Milena and all of the staff for both breakfast service and in the Restaurant. Wow, the restaurant Donn’Eugenia was simply outstanding. We said during our stay that it was consistently the best food we have ever eaten. Amazing. We are heavier now than when we arrived because we could not say no to any of it! A real gastronomic experience and cannot recommend this highly enough. We loved our week long stay at LaMedusa. If we are in this part of the world at anytime in the future we will only ever stay here. It’s a credit to everyone that works there. Thank you for being so nice to us. X

What a fabulous stay! The front desk/concierge provided outstanding service. From the moment we arrived and greeted by Fabio, it was an amazing experience. Many, many thanks to Fabio, Achille and Ana who assisted us with booking all our tours, taxi rides and dinner reservations. Everything was perfect. And I cannot forget to thank Luigi who made the most fantastic drinks and provided outstanding service to us in the lounge after a long(and exhausting) day of walking and sightseeing in southern Italy. La Medusa is a beautiful hotel and the professionalism and courtesy of the staff at all levels and in all sections is of a very hight standard. Nothing is too much trouble. This is what marks this hotel out from others of the same classification. We would like to thank the Reception team for helping my husband out with repairing his suitcase which was damaged on the inbound flight and most particularly for the care and attention we received from Gennaro and his team in the restaurant. I need a gluten free diet and this was managed superbly throughout my stay. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone we knew who was travelling in the area. Thank you!

Par contre nous étions en chambre 209, 205, 206; j’ai réglé la totalité en partant lundi matin tôt et on a réclamé à ma fille qui partait plus tard 10€ pour une bouteille en verre que j’aurais emporté .il n’en ai rien car cette bouteille vide je l’ai mise à côté de la cafetière le dimanche matin et elle n’a pas été réremplie et a disparu. C’est vraiment gênant et inadmissible.ceci étant…. Votre établissement est magnifique !
