The reception staff is very professional, kindly & looks for solutions without asking. The staff (breakfast & restaurant & bar) is superb. High standards of serving. The drivers of the shuttle are so friendly and helpful. The housekeeping is dedicated to the job. I repeat we had a wonderful time in your hotel.

This has been the best hotel experience in some time now! The staff was friendly and very helpful at all time! The garden was so beautiful you could spend a few hours just relaxing in it. The rooms were spotless with everyday change of sheets and towels which I have not seen in a European hotel in years! Please keep up the amazing quality!

This is going to be a long review, but I truly feel that La Medusa Hotel deserves every word\. We had the most incredible experience here, and I honestly don’t even know where to begin\! The hotel itself was so charming and beautiful\. The garden and pool were absolutely immaculate, our room was spacious and comfortable, and the view from our balcony was breathtaking\. There was also a restaurant and bar on\-site that we went to at least once every day we were there\. It was quiet and peaceful, and it was the perfect place to relax after our full days of exploring Castellammare and the surrounding cities\. The staff were absolutely wonderful and beyond helpful\. They helped us arrange a private driver to and from the airport, which made traveling so much easier, and they were always happy to assist with other transportation needs, whether that was arranging a taxi or giving us information about ferries and trains\. The hotel also has a shuttle that takes you to and from the city center, which made it really easy to hop on the train and visit places like Sorrento and Pompeii\. Everyone was so accommodating and friendly\. I truly felt comfortable and at home during our entire stay\. The only thing I would consider when choosing this hotel is that getting to the Amalfi Coast itself isn’t always the easiest, and taxis and private drivers can get expensive\. That being said, we found that there were so many other ways to explore the area\. We booked a boat day and were able to see the entire Amalfi Coast, which was incredible\. We also easily took the train to Sorrento for a day, and another day we took the train to Sorrento and then the ferry to Capri\. As Americans who had never visited Europe before, all of that sounded intimidating at first, but it ended up being incredibly easy and honestly became one of our favorite days of the entire trip\. The hotel staff were always there to answer questions and even helped us book things we wanted to do while we were there\. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay special\. I couldn’t recommend this place enough\. My husband and I eloped in Positano, but we spent some time around the hotel taking photos as well\. We even said our vows right there in the front garden\. La Medusa will forever hold such a special place in our hearts, and I will never forget the time we spent here\. Thank you so much to everyone at La Medusa for making our stay so special\. We absolutely cannot wait to come back and visit again\! ❤️

Dear La Medusa Team, I just wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone at La Medusa for making our stay so incredibly special. We stayed with you following our engagement, and from the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely perfect. We were so touched by the upgrade to the suite, it was such a wonderful surprise and made an already special occasion even more memorable. What really stood out to us, though, was the staff. Every single person we encountered was so warm, attentive and thoughtful. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and the level of care and attention throughout our stay was truly exceptional. You all made us feel so welcomed and looked after. The hotel itself is beautiful, but it was the little details and the people that made our stay so special. We honestly couldn’t have wished for a better place to celebrate such an important moment in our lives. We absolutely loved our time at La Medusa and will definitely be back. We are already looking forward to returning! Thank you again to the whole team for making our stay so unforgettable. Warmest wishes, Harriet & Scott

We stayed at the property for 8 days and every minute was wonderful! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The property was clean, well maintained and the rooms were wonderful. After a snafu with one of our hotels, your staff was able to get us an additional 3 nights and upgraded us for our final days of our honeymoon. All the food was fresh and delicious, the seafood risotto is one I will be dreaming about!! Overall we had an amazing stay and will most definitely be back. Mits enkele verbeteracties (zie boven) is jullie hotel TOP

2026-09-11

We have really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and will come back and recommend the hotel to others. Very nice rooms, pool and park. Good kitchen! Very friendly and competent staff all around at the reception, the restaurant, the pool area and the wellness! The breakfast could have been a bit more upscale with fresh orange juice and life egg/ pancake baking, which has become pretty mainstream at hotels of this quality. Warm regards, Philip

2026-09-11

We have to give special thanks and praise to Fabio at the front desk for the wonderful service we received. Whether we needed a restaurant recommendation, had a question about a tour in the area, made a special request, or simply needed help with something, Fabio was always there with a smile and a willingness to help. His personal touch in everything we asked for truly made us feel special. And the truth is, we’re not actually special guests, just regular guests at an excellent hotel. Fabio simply made us feel that way. He is a true asset !

2026-09-10

2026-08-19

We booked last minute as had some travel disruptions in Italy and to be honest was probably one of the best experiences of our whole trip. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and the food and staff are amazing. My daughter and I are celiac and the staff and food choices were plentiful. Everyone knew and accommodations and options were provided for all meals and breakfast alternatives were brought without having to even ask eg: pastries/bread in am and plenty to choose from on menu. The restaurant manager especially was really friendly, knowledgeable and great but everyone was awesome. Big thank you to all the hotel staff for a really great stay for the family. Lovely hotel and grounds. Robert & Diandra

A Heartfelt Thank You to the Staff of La Medusa Hotel Dear La Medusa Hotel Management, We stayed at La Medusa Hotel from August 11th through August 13th, and we would like to take a moment to sincerely acknowledge several members of your wonderful staff for their professionalism, kindness, respectfulness, and, most importantly, their honesty. From the moment we arrived, Fabio greeted us with genuine enthusiasm and a willingness to help that immediately made us feel welcome. Angela and Erminia were warm, gracious, and inviting, making our stay feel comfortable from the very beginning. Stefano, at the pool, was incredibly accommodating and helped create an atmosphere where we could truly relax and feel at home. Anna provided exceptional service to our room. It was exactly what a true vacation should feel like. The hotel itself was beautifully maintained. The meticulously trimmed gardens, immaculate grounds, stunning statues, and serene pool created an exceptionally peaceful and welcoming environment. Every detail reflected the care and pride that goes into making La Medusa such a special place. After leaving the hotel for Sorrento, we realized that we had accidentally left two items behind. We immediately called the hotel, and with the help of Anna ( housekeeping) our belongings were located. Among the items was several hundred dollars in cash—and every single dollar was still there. In addition to Anna; Angela, Erminia, and Fabio, they all played a part in helping locate, secure, and return our belongings. Their honesty, care, and willingness to assist us were deeply appreciated. Their actions went far beyond simply providing excellent service; they demonstrated genuine character and integrity. We would be grateful if Fabio, Angela, Erminia, Stefano, and Anna could all be personally acknowledged for the wonderful experience they provided us. Their kindness and professionalism made our stay absolutely wonderful, and their honesty left an especially lasting impression. Please extend our heartfelt thank you to all five of them. We will remember our stay at La Medusa with great fondness and appreciation. Warmest regards, The Rizzieri Family

2026-05-11

Special thanks to the staff at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. They went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary restrictions which I very much appreciated. The food and services were the best I’ve ever experienced and was a lovely way to spend my birthday celebration in Italy.

2026-05-10

Everyone was truly amazing. A special shout out to the food manager Girallo (spelling). e went above and beyond to make my husbands birthday special. We can not thank him enough!! However, everyone was truly amazing!! Thank you for making this trip so extra special. Line item to add above for how we learned about the hotel. We learned about it through Hilton. Thank you again for a truly memorable stay!

2026-05-09

We cannot say enough nice things about your staff! They were ALL amazing! The hotel is absolutely beautiful and we loved our stay with you the best out of the 4 different hotels we visited! The only complaint is the location, however, obviously there is nothing you can do about that. Your staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, like family. Everyone was so kind and personable. Our stay with you was priceless!! Thank you for making a part of our honeymoon special!

2026-05-08

Thank you for a wonderful stay at La Medusa. Everything and everybody were just great and made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. Your attention to my gluten free requirements was most appreciated and the best I have had in a long time.

2026-05-08

Compliments to these members of staff who made our stay unforgettable for all the right reasons: Antonio and Maria-Luisa at dinner; Gennaro at breakfast and dinner; all the reception staff, and particularly Angela who greeted us on arrival; Antonio the driver; and the young man who served us our cocktails. I apologise for leaving behind at reception a bottle of Giuseppe Giusto balsamico, which Antonio (waiter) had arranged for me to collect and pay for. I'm sorry! We were in a hurry and I forgot it! We loved our second visit to this wonderful hotel. Thank you so much. Avril and Stuart Johnson.

2026-05-07

Top

2025-11-01

tutto perfetto, grazie

2025-10-31

2025-10-28

Patrizia il top

2025-10-28

2025-10-28

This was the best staff I’ve ever experienced. The two ladies that greeted us when we arrived were amazing. They worked the night of October 23rd deserve a raise!

2025-10-27

Nette Mitarbeiter, gepflegte Anlage.

2025-10-27

Buffet della colazione eccezionale, struttura bella e molto curata e personale gentilissimo. L'ideale per cerimonie e festeggiamenti

2025-10-26

2025-10-26

Breakfast :Super fine and lots of choise . Special thanks for the 2 bartenders (the Averna man from Belgium)

2025-10-26

Your beautiful hotel is truly a haven of peace and tranquility. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The service is impeccable and discreet. In the evening, the restaurant offers a varied and delicious three-course menu. The gardens are magnificent, where you can relax in comfortable lounge chairs in the shade of lemon and orange trees. Unfortunately, I was unable to enjoy the wellness center or the beautiful outdoor pool as I was traveling at the end of October. It is a perfect central location from which to explore Naples, Capri, Sorrento, and the Amalfi Coast. Thank you for your attentive care. I will be sure to recommend your hotel.

2025-10-26

hello,if possible i would like the recepie from your cooking chef of the dillicious risotto with the lemon taste :-)

2025-10-26

Everthing was okay

2025-10-23

Thank you!

2025-10-22

The building and grounds were spectacular. Sadly, we couldn’t use the pool because the water was too cold. All staff were professional and friendly. We enjoyed the two bartenders that we met and chatted with, they were knowledgeable and friendly. Front desk was engaging and delightful. Your taxi driver was professional, engaging and Canadian ❤️ we enjoyed our breakfast in the 4th floor dining room, it was spotless and plenty of choices. We especially enjoyed our lunch and supper in the atrium with the delightful woman who was a gracious, knowledgeable & attentive host.

2025-10-22

Reception was very welcoming and helpful, especially your two younger employees, Anna and Vinnie. These two and made sure we had a very good tour of Pompeii and correct arrangements with the train service back to the Rome airport. Antonio (?) your Canadian driver was very helpful to and from Pompeii and later to ensure we had the correct ticketing for the train back to FCO Rome. The staff in all the breakfast and dinning room were very helpful in choosing dishes and wine. They all helped make our meals very enjoyable.

2025-10-21

2025-10-20

2025-10-18

Excellent engagement by staff. Strong English skills and care taken anticipating our needs.

2025-10-18

We immensely enjoyed our 5-night stay at La Medusa. Thank you to the staff who were extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel like honored guests or family. The hotel exudes old world charm which is almost impossible to find these days. For anyone wanting a special oasis central to Pompeii, Sorrento, Amalfi, Naples and Airport, I could not make a better recommendation.

You have a great team of personnel. The food is wonderful, and the restaurant staff goes above and beyond to please and make sure you are happy with everything. I recommend La Medusa to friends and business associates. Thank you for paying close attention to details for everyone.

My wife and I have traveled all over Europe and North America. We believe that the LaMadusa was the most exquisite, charming, and welcoming hotel in all of our vacations. Thank you for your excellent, professional, and genuine service. Bob & Susan Fitch
