It's a shame the pool wasn't available during these periods, but everything else in the resort was outstanding. Special thanks to the staff for surprising me with a birthday cake on the day of my actual birthday. It has moved me, and you don't know how special you made me feel. We returned from Splendido Bay last week and I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at the hotel. We honestly had the most fantastic stay, the hotel is very special. However it was the staff at breakfast, on reception, at the spa, in the restaurants and cleaning the room which made our stay very special indeed! Italian hospitality at its finest. My two weeks at Splendido Bay were outstanding. With my work, I travel the world and am blessed to stay in great hotels. Splendido Bay is up with the very best. Regardless of facilities and location, it is the staff who make a hotel excellent. The team at all levels at Splendido Bay is exceptional and brilliantly trained. The staff in the bar and adjacent breakfast restaurant deserve a special mention. The best!

Had inadvertently booked a double room instead of a twin. The staff were extremely helpful to accommodate changing room. The staff at breakfast and dinner were also extremely pleasant, friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed out time there and hope to be back when we visit the area next.
