Voglio ringraziare l'intero staff del Grande Albergo Internazionale. Struttura elegante, storica e protetta, architettura che mostra intatte le caratteristiche di un edificio d'epoca. Arredi e complementi in alcune parti forse da rimodernare ( la moquette nei corridori ai piani superiori), ma, nel complesso, è così che si immagina un glorioso hotel d'altri tempi, un pò usato, un pò imperfetto, ma prezioso e da preferire per questo. L'immaginazione ne gode, si da arie da nobile madame... Incredibile l'affaccio sul porto di Brindisi, incorniciato dalle finestre eleganti ancora di legno, con le persiane alla francese. Le stanze sono maestose, molto grandi e pulite, ben isolate l'una dall'altra: nessun rumore disturba le notti. Bellissimo fare colazione mentre il lungomare si risveglia. Il buffet è fresco, ben fornito. Il personale è attento e disponibile a risolvere problemi, rispettoso e gentile come non sempre succede. Che dire? Ho amato la scrivania del XIX secolo della mia stanza, che si protendeva direttamente sul mare azzurro di quest'ultimo, caldo autunno. Grazie infinite per le emozioni da vera viaggiatrice nel tempo che ho provato tra gli antichi splendori del vostro hotel.
