We booked this stay on hotels.com and it was exactly as shown. There was a slight sewage stench in the room however when we asked the front desk about it, she said it happens when the tide comes in and there is not a ton that can be done. I do think an air freshener was added and we did get used to it and honestly the view of the room was worth it ;) The desk manager was able to extend our stay in our same room as well as organize us a scooter one day. The staff at the restaurant is awesome as well and the food was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay! Everyone was so kind; nothing felt forced. I would absolutely stay here again.

There was a lovely woman at the front desk with reddish hair who was kind, helpful and went out of her way to make my stay just as I wanted. She went out of her way to find a vase for flowers I had purchased from the market. The restaurant wouldn't let me borrow even a "glass" to put the flowers in, but she found a beautiful vase for me. I appreciated her willingness to go a little bit further1

The staff at the front desk was extremely helpful- they went out of their way to help us with reservations for dinner (cancelled one and made a new one). The Swedish lady on reception whose name sadly escapes me was so lovely. She recommended a restaurant at Montallegro and helped me to access my room when I left the key inside! The waiter in the restaurant also simpatico. Grazie tutti!
