I would Like to thank the front desk manager. I think Matteo if I got your name wrong. Sorry about that. I got turned around trying to Park it started to drizzle I called and he helped guide me from a half a block. Perfect parking out front. So helpful . Cheerful and really a great asset to the hotel. The breakfast was good the coffee general pot was cold. I think the heater switch was off but that was no big deal. The rooms excellent and I would highly recommend to anybody. Lovely hotel.

I would like to thank the man who was on duty at the reception desk on the evening of Friday 3rd July. I arrived after 11.00pm, having been delayed by cancelled flight and late running trains. On arrival I discovered there was no room reservation for me. There had been some confusion amongst my clients, who had first told me that I would be staying at your hotel and later made a different arrangement with a different hotel, but had failed to inform me. This member of staff was polite and helpful. He could have asked me to leave as I had no reservation. instead he offered me a room for one night and when I offered to pay straight away, this was declined and I paid the next morning before leaving. That show a lot of trust towards a stranger who had just walked in. If the same thing had happened at a hotel in London, I doubt I would have been so well received. I didn't make the original booking, my client did, so I can't comment on this part of your services, nor did I use the bar.

We had a lovely stay and the staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. It was not your fault that we had fixed menus with Ramblers Worldwide but it did mean the food was not as varied as we would expect. It may have been a mistake to start with a rather boring version of Sicilian breadcrumb salad (porridge?), we had a rather better version the next day.

The Ramble group which arrived on 10th March had had a very bad experience with British Airways, when all their checked luggage did not get loaded on to the plane. Hotel staff were especially efficient and resourceful in lending necessary equipment until the luggage arrived 24 houts later.

I truly enjoy staying at the Hotel Tiferno. The staff is so welcoming and friendly! The hotel itself is lovely and I love the location. During this past visit I had the opportunity to eat at the restaurant which is attached to the hotel and it was amazing!! I am looking forward to eating there again when I return! I would love it if either soft boiled eggs or scrambled eggs were offered at breakfast but otherwise this is a perfect place to stay!!! We arrived early from our pilgrimage walk, and Jean Carlo quickly assessed the situation and with our rooms available slotted me in immediately so that I could wash up and go to Mass Sunday morning. This is our second stay at Tiferno hotel. This time we stayed for a week. I had injured my ankle and was on wheelchair with limited mobility. The staff at reception were fantastic and provided excellent support and assistance in navigating appointments and transport. They went over and above the call of duty in making our stay very comfortable and making us feel at home. The hotel itself is great , situated in the heart of the historic center, and set in an old convent with serious art work in all the rooms and common areas We will definitely return and we strongly recommend Tiferno hotel for a comfortable and memorable stay.
