And very comfortable bed. And our driver to the airport was great - went ( literally) out of his way to get us there despite a major collision on the autostrada. Thank you for a lovely stay - and for the Jameson hot whiskeys for my husband's cold!

What a hotel! I would heartily recommend The Park Hotel. The welcome, every time you walk into the hotel, is warm, friendly and genuine. All of the staff were, without exception, incredibly polite and helpful. Our room was immaculately clean, the beds comfortable and the en-suite bathroom very stylishly presented. The free afternoon coffee and biscuits were really appreciated We ate in the restaurant on one evening. OMG! The food was AMAZING! Beautifully presented, absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection and served by friendly and attentive staff who explained each dish. Without doubt the best meal we had all week. All in all, a hotel I would recommend for every reason and can fault for nothing. To the management and staff - Grazie Mille!

The Park is a fabulous hotel with amazing staff. The cleanliness and hospitality is exceptional. A minor point but not a criticism is the room we were in (245) is a little small for a week long stay. Ok for a day or two but not a week. Wouldn’t put us off returning a third time but would prefer a slightly bigger space.

Please, please, eliminate the existing step from the elevador and concierge. It’s really dangerous. Myself and my friends had trouble on it. My friend felled badly. Suggestion: built a ramp. It can attend everyone in a wheelchair, those who use a cane or people like me, who was admiring the view of the garden and lake and almost fell! I really appreciate is you demonstrate concerns for your guests and fix it. Thanks

Everything outside the room was great: the staff, decor, breakfast and pool. The rooms themselves were not good enough for a 4 star hotel: - the bathroom supplies (shower gel and shampoo) were not good enough - there was no hair conditioner in a 4 star hotel (?!?!) - no towel racks for bath towels or hand towels (the two tiny hooks can't hold anything) - the two giant chairs in the living room should be replaced with a light couch - there was an ash tray right next to the "no smoking" sign.... just remove the ash tray - the pillows weren't great. - the king bed is actually two twin beds with a seam in the middle - a small espresso machine or something to boil water would be nice - more electrical plugs (or some digital watch with USB outlets) would be nice. The rooms need to be addressed with the same attention to detail as the front lobby.

From speaking to another client of the hotel was informed of an option of purchasing three nights evening meal - was not informed on this option. I can confirm that the staff were very friendly and helpful. 100% customer service from all staff in my requests. Even the day I checked out, I was informed that an item was charged to my room from the breakfast that morning which I confirmed this was not ordered by myself and that was the end of the discussion. It was dealt in a polite and courtesy manner.

Our stay was excellent . We travelled with an elderly member of the family and the hotel immediately accommodated any requests to meet needs. We had a beautiful stay at Park Hotel. I came across this recommendation when reading an online travel blog. They recommended this hotel as being very reliable, but I feel this not do the hotel full justice. It was absolutely outstanding with extremely helpful friendly and pleasant staff. One staff member helped my husband with his car hire as we don’t speak Italian. They couldn’t do enough to help you. We did not eat at the restaurant but the menu looked delicious.Breakfast was outstanding and we took advantage of the beautiful terrace which though a stones throw from the bustling market felt like a cool and private oasis. The centre of Desenzano is cheery and delightful - a pleasant town to stay in, and this hotel is perfectly situated to take advantage of the passeggiata on the tree lined boulevard. The lake views are centre stage and no one is deprived of enjoying this stunning vista. The rooms were fresh, cool and newlly decorated and serviced multiple times a day. The sweets and little note (Buona notte) were a lovely touch that made us feel looked after. A nasty mosquito bit meant that I could not use the pool for a few days. The lady who tended the poolside showed concern and offered me plasters which was very kind. ( roof top pool is a beautiful luxury which was refreshing during our stay as we were there in a heatwave.) When we struggled with the high chairs on our balcony the hotel changed our room speedily and without any quibble. They were so accommodating. This is a top notch hotel with a top quality service. Honestly the best hotel I have ever stayed in. I will be strongly recommending it to my friends and family. Thankyou to all the staff who made our stay so enjoyable.

A really beautiful hotel in a great spot - there's lots going on in Desenzano (so many restaurants and bars to try) and it's easy to travel to other places around the lake too. The hotel's close transport links (boat, bus, train) were a real positive for us. We loved the design of the hotel lobby and restaurant, and the pool/roof terrace was an added bonus. Lots of choice at breakfast, and the packed breakfast we were given on our day of departure (due to leaving the hotel early) was so cute and considerate! Afternoon tea is also a lovely touch. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, helping us our with transport questions on a few occasions - we felt very welcome. Finally, the hotel was spotless and the maids always did a quick and exceptional job of cleaning our room.

On 26 May after check out at arrival at Linate airport we realised we left our passports in the room's safe. The woman at reception (unfortunately I couldn't get her name) was incredibly quick to assist with finding a transfer for someone to bring our passports to Milano Linate. She managed to organise everything in a manner of minutes. Our passports arrived at the airport and we managed to catch our flight. Absolutely incredible !

There were two front of staff who particularly helpful and thoughtful and well informed - they recommened good restaurants and other sites. The first night the room was a bit noisey but we really appreciated that we could be changed and the rooms facing forward were excellent. We had a lovely stay - thank you very much. - Also very much appreciated the book about the history of the hotel and the art collection tour- the hotel is very nicely decorated. The swimming area was great but would have been perfect if the pool was heated even a bit- too cold to swim Ede. Though sun was hot.
