I’d like to thank for the hospitality and friendliness of the staff; we had a great time at San Mattia. I’m especially grateful that our 2-year-old daughter could play freely, which I know might have been a little loud at times, and we didn’t get any bad looks or comments. Also, a big thanks for the kids menu at the restaurant, our daughter loved the maccheroncini. 🙂 Also, that view over Verona is just marvellous, sitting on the terrace overlooking the city is an experience we’ll never forget.

When we stayed, a hail storm ruined the roof of my room and thus the room was flooded with water. The receptionist quickly responded and found another room for us. He was also very friendly and willing to help. Really appreciated.

Thank you. After a crowded four days in Venice, the peace and space of Corte San Mattia was just what we needed. The staff were welcoming, friendly and amusing. The wines were excellent. We used the pool (despite the colder weather). We enjoyed the way in to Verona on the old road and the bus back was convenient (it was even better when Niccolo saw us at the bus stop and gave us a lift!)
