First of all, I would like to apologize for the delay in sending this message. My partner, Manuela, and I stayed from the 22nd to the 23rd, and I truly don’t have words to fully describe this experience, but I will try. The purpose of this stay was to propose to my girlfriend. I had a few things planned, but doing it alone would have been almost impossible. We arrived and were welcomed by Stefano, who makes any six-star hotel concierge seem ordinary. Extremely kind and courteous, he introduced us to the property and later helped me begin the preparations for the proposal. He informed me that when I returned, another team would be on duty and that Beatrice would be responsible for reception. She was just as exceptional as Stefano , she recognized who I was without me having to say a word, and as soon as I managed to distract Manuela, we began organizing everything. I then met Simone, who would be responsible for our service and later for dinner, and once again I was amazed by the level of service and professionalism. His dinner recommendations were impeccable, with service worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant, yet with the lightness and originality that the Vineria di San Mattia truly deserves. After dinner, we went to the room, which was beautiful in every detail. The next morning, we went to breakfast and, to complete the experience, we were welcomed by Sarah, who prepared an incredible cappuccino to accompany all the wonderful items that were served. The ambient music with piano, the presentation of the breakfast, and the quality of everything were simply outstanding. Congratulations to the entire team and also to the person responsible for making all of this possible. I worked for more than 20 years in restaurants and hospitality, and I have never seen a team so efficient and genuinely happy with their work — which perfectly explains such a special place, with incredible energy and impeccable service. We will see you at our wedding, because after all of this, Verona and especially the Farmhouse, has become a mandatory stop on our trips to Italy.

Complimenti allo staff e al cibo di qualità, potrei consigliare di aggiungere un vasetto del vostro miele alla colazione in quanto era presente solo il favo , buonissimo ma molto asciutto quindi si faceva fatica per poterlo mettere per esempio come mia abitudine nel cappuccino. Altro consiglio che potrei darvi sarebbe installare qualche aspiratore nella sala ristorazione in quanto uno degli ospiti presenti alla cena ha ordinato la fiorentina ma appena è arrivata sopra la piastra calda al tavolo non si respirava più dal fumo che faceva 😅… materasso della camera n5 abbastanza scomodo.. per il resto ripeto tutto ottimo dallo staff al cibo 👍

Nel complesso abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno molto piacevole e abbiamo apprezzato molto l’atmosfera e l’ospitalità dell’agriturismo. Un piccolo suggerimento riguarda la temperatura interna. Comprendiamo che la temperatura consigliata in Italia sia intorno ai 21°C, tuttavia per gli ospiti asiatici, in particolare per le persone anziane, può risultare un po’ fredda. Se possibile, l’aggiunta di una stufa supplementare o una maggiore flessibilità nel riscaldamento potrebbe rendere il soggiorno più confortevole per gli ospiti più sensibili al freddo. Un altro suggerimento riguarda la segnaletica e le indicazioni esterne. Anche se non abbiamo partecipato all’esperienza enologica, riteniamo che una maggiore presenza di indicazioni o brevi spiegazioni all’interno della tenuta potrebbe aiutare gli ospiti a comprendere meglio e a esplorare la proprietà. Attualmente si riesce a vedere solo una piccola parte della struttura; una guida più chiara potrebbe stimolare l’interesse e invogliare gli ospiti a scoprire l’intera tenuta o a partecipare a future visite guidate. Vi ringraziamo ancora per la splendida esperienza e speriamo che questi suggerimenti possano essere utili per migliorare ulteriormente il soggiorno dei futuri ospiti.

At the evening when we arrived, we felt really welcomed at the reception and we could still go for diner at the restaurant. The restaurant staff were very friendly and the food and atmosphere was brilliant. One small complaint about the house were we stayed; the room was not cleaned and the towels were not changed. Thank you for the most wonderful days, it only took us an hour to decide we wanted to stay another night instead of just the one we had planned. We had a fantastic experience at your Farmhouse. From the check-in to breakfast (food and staff), local recommendations (the pool bar hostess - I think Eleanora? and then also Fabio at La Volpe), and in general everything felt comfortable and home-like. Ho appena trascorso 4 giorni al Corte San Mattia e ho avuto un'esperienza fantastica. Il posto era pulitissimo, tranquillo e con una splendida vista su Verona. Ho cenato lì ogni sera e anche questa volta l'esperienza è stata di prima classe. Il personale è stato molto attento e non ho avuto alcun problema. Nico è stato davvero fantastico nel consigliare cibo e vino, e alla fine ho comprato del vino rosso e bianco da gustare sul Lago di Como! Dave

We had an amazing experience at the Corte San Mattia. The view of Verona from the terrace was mesmerising. The staff was super friendly and helpful at all the time. We had a little trouble finding the entrance at the beginning but despite arriving late, we received full support and guidance from the reception (Marco). The staff in the restaurant was amazing, friendly and fun. They explained a lot about how agroturismo works, and always gave best advice about the choice of food and wine (always delicious). The facilities, including pool and garden, are amazing, clean and well thought through. Wine tasting experience was wonderful, the story of the winery and each type of wine was explained in a very clear and fun language by Noemi who was very engaged and familiar with the wine making process. The staff working here is the biggest asset of Corte San Mattia. I wish we could stay longer, and hope to return next time for a longer period to enjoy the experience in full.

Only suggestions - letting guest know prior to the stay that they require their own beach towel to use the pool (Or making them available to borrow / rent from reception). Being able to book a taxi to / from the airport through the hotel.

Ringrazio per i 3 GG appena trascorsi. Sicuramente risceglierei la struttura per location,cortesia del personale, e atmosfera .Belli gli arredi, belli i giardini( non abbiamo usufruito della piscina, ma invitante). Ottima la posizione , veduta su Verona mozzafiato.Per le info su prenotazione, ho prenotato con booking, magari avrei preferito sapere che la mia stanza era comunicante con altre ( per fortuna la coppia accanto era molto educata e silenziosa). Se posso permettermi un consiglio, visto che sono abituato a girare posti con mia moglie celiaca, anche se con prodotti preconfezionati/surgelati a richiesta avrei gradito avere pane e brioche gluten free. Capisco che capita 1 cliente su 100, ma una struttura bella come la vostra, con una brioche calda senza glutine o un pane per il ristorante farebbe diventare unico un soggiorno già bello.

A quick note to thank you for such a wonderful experience at your Agriturismo. We fell in love with the location, amenities, staff (I wish I could name them all here), activities (wine tasting & cooking class) and the food, but especially the staff! This was our first visit to Verona and if/when we come back, we'll be staying with you. Congrats on all you've put together! Because you asked, the only recommendations would be to reconfigure the shower in '21'; look for a way to create a path from the restaurant to the lower units instead of walking the street; add the ability to ship olive oil, jams, etc (I think you're working on this); possibly expand the cooking class to add additional courses (dessert, meat?) Naomi (sp) does an amazing job! BTW, we ordered 26 bottles of wind and they reached Florida (USA) in 3 days! Not sure how that happened...great service! Again, thank you for making our vacation to Verona special! We had a wonderful and very memorable time! Rich Sweat

Devo dire che per la mia esperienza da voi le recensioni negative sono del tutto infondate. Ho trovato il posto stupendo, la camera bellissima e pulita, per non parlare della cortesia e disponibilità del personale alla reception, nella zona colazioni e al ristorante davvero fantastici.
