Early check-in as a result of booking direct with the hotel through the website was amazing as we had to take an earlier than anticipated train due to the national rail strike. Staff upon check-in was extremely helpful and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location to tour Florence and close to the train station. Will definitely stay again when in Florence.

The staff was absolutely amazing! From the gentleman who checked us in, to the wonderful girl working in the afternoon, to the young man in the breakfast room, everyone was fantastic. They were all so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. This was our favorite hotel throughout our entire trip to Italy. The rooms were large, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We were extremely happy with our stay and really appreciated how well everything was maintained. The parking was also a huge plus. It was so nice knowing that our rental car was safely secured behind the hotel. We would definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this hotel!

Beautifully decorated room and spotlessly clean. As we arrived earlier than our check in time, we left our luggage in your storage area and when we returned later in the afternoon our luggage had been taken up to our room. A nice touch which was very much appreciated.

La struttura è stata ristrutturata da poco e noi abbiamo scelto la camera con terrazzino: davvero una chicca! La posizione è perfetta: a meno di 2 km dal centro e a meno di 100 metri dalla fermata del tram, comodissima per raggiungere il centro. Ottima anche la possibilità di parcheggiare direttamente in loco e, soprattutto, la struttura si trova fuori dalla ZTL, cosa davvero comoda se si arriva in auto. Menzione speciale a Raffaele, che con la sua gentilezza e disponibilità ci ha fatto sentire subito a casa. Grazie di tutto, sicuramente ritorneremo!

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Hotel La Fortezza and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Florence. The hotel is conveniently located about a 10–15 minute walk from Firenze Santa Maria Novella (SMN) train station. If you prefer public transportation, there is a bus stop just a 2-minute walk from the hotel, making it easy to reach all the major attractions. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and full of character. We especially appreciated having a room with a window, and everything was well maintained throughout our stay. One of the first things we noticed was the hotel’s pleasant signature fragrance, which created a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and professional, but we would especially like to thank Mr. Buli, who was working the night shift. We returned to the hotel late one evening after all the nearby restaurants had closed. When he learned that my son was hungry, he kindly prepared fresh sandwiches and yogurt for us from the hotel kitchen. His kindness and willingness to help went far beyond our expectations and made us feel truly cared for. Another thoughtful service was that the hotel offers complimentary travel adapters for guests, which was very convenient. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would happily stay at Hotel La Fortezza again on our next visit to Florence. Highly recommended!

Des restaurants non touristique sont à proximité, le parking privé revient moins cher que de le laisser dehors.Nous tenons a remercier plus particulièrement les deux réceptionnistes qui parle parfaitement français et le garçon de salle petit déjeuner pour leurs professionnalismes et gentillesses.

All of the staff were so very friendly and extremely helpful. I rang the day before we arrived to ask about using an iron as previous trips to different parts of Italy was not allowed. I was informed of a steamer. To my surprise it was waiting at reception along with the distilled water. I was delighted. We were also able to check in early too. Very helpful staff at all hours .the hotel was spotlessly clean and our room was lovely. Also the location from the tram stop to the city is brilliant.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was great. One night of our stay, we missed our train to Florence and we didn’t get to the hotel until 2:00am. The man at the front desk was there and he said he was waiting for us to return. We thought that was so nice and caring that he had noticed we were not back. We really appreciated the caring he showed. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Florence and we will recommend Hotel La Fortezza to all of our family and friends.

The breakfast buffet was amazing 🤩 what a fantastic selection, the honeycomb was something I have never seen before and was a special little touch that sets you apart from others. La struttura è bella, curata e accogliente, con ambienti piacevoli e ben tenuti. Un grande complimento va soprattutto al personale: gentile, disponibile e sempre attento alle esigenze degli ospiti. Abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo il gesto di offrirci il caffè prima dell’orario di apertura della colazione, visto che dovevamo partire presto: una piccola attenzione che fa davvero la differenza. Le camere erano pulite e ordinate, garantendo un soggiorno confortevole. Comodo anche il parcheggio in loco, disponibile al costo di 20 euro a notte, soluzione pratica per chi arriva in auto. Esperienza decisamente positiva, hotel consigliato!

Il personale è professionale e gentile, in particolare il signor Raffaele che ci ha veramente conquistati. L’ hotel è bello, pulito, situato in una zona tranquilla e comoda al centro. Molto buona e varia la colazione. Ottimi i consigli ricevuti, abbiamo mangiato benissimo nei ristoranti suggeriti. Ci siamo trovati molto bene, vi faremo sicuramente pubblicità. Speriamo di tornare presto!
