We loved how clean and modern the hotel is. The location is great - removed from the busy center, but close enough to everything to either walk or take the tram if we wanted to. The breakfast buffet was lovely and the staff in the dining room were wonderful.

The three reception staff that we met during our 2-night stay (March 8 & 9) were fantastic — very helpful with our questions, set up our early morning airport taxi ride, and provided great advice about getting around in the hotel area. La struttura è bella, curata e accogliente, con ambienti piacevoli e ben tenuti. Un grande complimento va soprattutto al personale: gentile, disponibile e sempre attento alle esigenze degli ospiti. Abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo il gesto di offrirci il caffè prima dell’orario di apertura della colazione, visto che dovevamo partire presto: una piccola attenzione che fa davvero la differenza. Le camere erano pulite e ordinate, garantendo un soggiorno confortevole. Comodo anche il parcheggio in loco, disponibile al costo di 20 euro a notte, soluzione pratica per chi arriva in auto. Esperienza decisamente positiva, hotel consigliato!

The temperature was very cool, exactly what is needed after hot summer days (the hottest we had was 39°). The shower was really nice and stayed perfectly consistent, a lot of the hotels we have tried the shower would drop in temperature constantly but at La Fortezza we never experienced any inconsistency. The cleaning team was brilliant and anything we used was replaced while we were out and about.

On our last day yesterday, I accidently locked our passports and money in the room safe, The guy on duty was magnificent in the way that he helped us -it was 05.00 in a morning and we had a flight at 07.00. Without hime we woudl have been in trouble. He was great but I didnt get his name. Mille Grazie.

I'm sorry I don't know the name of the woman at the front desk who greeted us. She was very friendly and welcoming. She gave us really good recommendations for restaurants. She also gave us information to orient ourselves. And finally, she was so helpful to me when I was having trouble accessing my plane tickets to France. I also want to say that the room was open and airy and felt spacious and uplifting. The bed was amazing! It was very comfortable for us.

The Hotel was in a great location, l couldn't fault anything. We had a very enjoyable experience, the room was so lovely, clean and comfortable. There was plenty of choice at the breakfast buffet and it was set out beautifully. When we needed help with the lights and the safe , a staff member came and helped us. Everyone who worked in the Hotel were very pleasant and helpful. They made our stay very enjoyable. Penta Bistro restaurant which your Hotel recommended was very good and very reasonable. We would love to come back some day.

Hotel La Fortezza is situated in an ideal, peaceful location just outside Florence city centre but just a 5 minutes stroll from the tram stop for the journey to/from the airport and 10 minutes from the main train station and bus terminal. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean and the bed comfortable. We did have to turn off the air conditioning because we couldn't work out how to control the room temperature. Breakfast was lovely - plenty of choice. All the city centre attractions are within easy walking distance.
