The touch screen set up in the room was excellent, really easy to use, setting your AC temp, call for a waitress if needed and selecting do not disturb. And when you've returned from your day out and slot the keycard back in, it reverts back to how you've set it up previously.

Beautifully decorated room and spotlessly clean. As we arrived earlier than our check in time, we left our luggage in your storage area and when we returned later in the afternoon our luggage had been taken up to our room. A nice touch which was very much appreciated.

Camera spaziosa, pulita e davvero accogliente. Il bagno è molto bello ed elegante, con una doccia grande e comodissima. La struttura è stata ristrutturata da poco e noi abbiamo scelto la camera con terrazzino: davvero una chicca! La posizione è perfetta: a meno di 2 km dal centro e a meno di 100 metri dalla fermata del tram, comodissima per raggiungere il centro. Ottima anche la possibilità di parcheggiare direttamente in loco e, soprattutto, la struttura si trova fuori dalla ZTL, cosa davvero comoda se si arriva in auto. Menzione speciale a Raffaele, che con la sua gentilezza e disponibilità ci ha fatto sentire subito a casa. Grazie di tutto, sicuramente ritorneremo!

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Hotel La Fortezza and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Florence. The hotel is conveniently located about a 10–15 minute walk from Firenze Santa Maria Novella (SMN) train station. If you prefer public transportation, there is a bus stop just a 2-minute walk from the hotel, making it easy to reach all the major attractions. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and full of character. We especially appreciated having a room with a window, and everything was well maintained throughout our stay. One of the first things we noticed was the hotel’s pleasant signature fragrance, which created a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and professional, but we would especially like to thank Mr. Buli, who was working the night shift. We returned to the hotel late one evening after all the nearby restaurants had closed. When he learned that my son was hungry, he kindly prepared fresh sandwiches and yogurt for us from the hotel kitchen. His kindness and willingness to help went far beyond our expectations and made us feel truly cared for. Another thoughtful service was that the hotel offers complimentary travel adapters for guests, which was very convenient. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would happily stay at Hotel La Fortezza again on our next visit to Florence. Highly recommended!

Cet hôtel est très bien situé à environ 10 mn du centre historique et ne subit pas le bruit et la foule de ce dernier. Le personnel est au top tant dans la façon de gérer que de donner d’excellents conseils. Des restaurants non touristique sont à proximité, le parking privé revient moins cher que de le laisser dehors.Nous tenons a remercier plus particulièrement les deux réceptionnistes qui parle parfaitement français et le garçon de salle petit déjeuner pour leurs professionnalismes et gentillesses.

All of the staff were so very friendly and extremely helpful. I rang the day before we arrived to ask about using an iron as previous trips to different parts of Italy was not allowed. I was informed of a steamer. To my surprise it was waiting at reception along with the distilled water. I was delighted. We were also able to check in early too. Very helpful staff at all hours .the hotel was spotlessly clean and our room was lovely. Also the location from the tram stop to the city is brilliant.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was great. One night of our stay, we missed our train to Florence and we didn’t get to the hotel until 2:00am. The man at the front desk was there and he said he was waiting for us to return. We thought that was so nice and caring that he had noticed we were not back. All the staff we came into contact with were very professional, polite and extremely helpful from the reception to the food service, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast buffet was amazing 🤩 what a fantastic selection, the honeycomb was something I have never seen before and was a special little touch that sets you apart from others. Abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo il gesto di offrirci il caffè prima dell’orario di apertura della colazione, visto che dovevamo partire presto: una piccola attenzione che fa davvero la differenza. Le camere erano pulite e ordinate, garantendo un soggiorno confortevole. Comodo anche il parcheggio in loco, disponibile al costo di 20 euro a notte, soluzione pratica per chi arriva in auto. Esperienza decisamente positiva, hotel consigliato!

When our flight to London was cancelled and the hotel was full, he went out of his way to find us a convenient hotel for our additional nights stay. Wir mussten bei der Abreise um 5.30 Uhr auschecken und hatten dies am Abend zuvor angekündigt. Wir vermuten, dass der ältere nette Herr der Hotel-Chef war, der uns den frühen checkout problemlos zusagt und nicht nur das, wir bekamen von ihm noch eine großzügig gepackte Lunchbox mit! Das war soo liebenswert und freundlich! So brauchten wir uns am Flughafen nichts mehr kaufen.
