Dear Luganodante, We had an absolutely fabulous short stay at your Hotel. First and foremost it was the inviting atmosphere and friendly staff. But also enjoyed breakfast and dinner a lot. The variety of fresh products and the warm-food corner for breakfast was a big surprise. And the menu of Flamel convinced us to stay at the Hotel for dinner instead of going out. It was a great experience too. Another highlight for us was the Ticino-Ticket. Even for swiss citizen with a half-fare card, there are so many possibilities. All in all, grazie mille! It was a very nice experience staying at your place.

This is a nice, but unusual hotel in the heart of Lugano. After working out how to find the funicular rail transport from the Lugano Railway Station, everything was very good. The room was very comfortable and the bead was excellent. Breakfast was included for our stay and was more than adequate for our needs. The hotel staff on reception and in the bar were excellent, courteous and very helpful. We would certainly stay here again.

The close proximity to the train station when we first arrived was a huge plus as one is so tired from travelling especially when you are from a different country and trying to find your way around. The welcome at the door was a very pleasant surprise. One gets the feeling that the staff really enjoy what they do. Everything was superb, and the attention to detail was outstanding, at least in our opinion. We will highly recommend the hotel to all of our friends and acquaintances. As a business English trainer I have worked with many hotel staff in Germany, helping them to deal with guests appropriately in English and I can say, with complete honesty, that all the Lugano Dante staff were friendly, courteous and professional - we weredelighted to be your guests!. It did not matter whether the staff spoke 'perfect' English because their commitment to taking care of their guests was clear. Let me give you one example; althugh I have lived in Germany for over 20 years, I still love my English cup of tea with milk. Therefore whenever I stay in a hotel I try to find a room offering tea and coffee facilities in the room. I then politely ask if I can have a small amount of fresh milk, to make tea in my room. Recently at a large 'designer' hotel, I was told that this was not possible and that 'no-one has ever asked for milk before'. (This is a typical example of poor customer service in Germany ). Last week. at the Lugano Dante, this request was absolutely no problem 😊. Thank you so much!

I regret not getting more names as everyone was so kind and helpful. Steven on reception sorted out a few things for us and gave us lots of advice on what to do etc. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The waiter who served us our meal in the evening was lovely too and the gentleman behind the bar. The staff at breakfast were so friendly and the housekeeping staff always greeted us whenever we passed. A friendly and personal like that makes for such a lovely stay. Gala was absoulutely amazing in helping us secure a dinner reservation at Grotto del Pepp. It was our favorite restaurant/experience during our two week trip to Switzerland and Austria. We loved it. I was unsuccessful in securing a reservation at Grotto del Pepp but Gala worked her magic and was able to get us a reservation. This restaurant was suggested by Gala as a local grotto that was very authentic. We loved everything about it - the drive up the mountain, the food, the staff. Thank you, thank you to Gala and our compliments to her service and great recommendation. Also, breakfast was amazing at Luganodante - so many selections and a lot of local flavor too. And and the staff were so pleasant. While the rooms were a bit small for vacationing travelers (vs. business travelers) they were also very pleasant and I liked that the room and hotel were focused on sustainability. We could have used a luggage rack though to accommodate both of our suitcases.

Every single staff person was incredibly friendly, enthusiastic about our being there, professional, and most were fun too. Simone was fabulous every time we interacted with him. Wish we remembered the names of others. The breakfast was extraordinary. The location of course was perfect. There was an housekeeping woman her name might’ve been Elizabeth(?), She and her husband live in Como. She’s originally from Budapest I believe. She was extremely helpful in making sure we had the right drinks in our room, that we didn’t run out of toilet paper, etc. her personality was professional and engaging. And a woman at the front desk with long, dark curly hair was particularly patient and helpful in helping me print out a bank/finance item that I needed. Siamo rimasti per Pasqua, qualche giorno dopo gli impegni di lavoro e abbiamo apprezzato la vostra struttura per il clima di vacanza e relax. Conoscono le mie esigenze e mi assegnano una camera adeguata dove posso anche lavorare, preparandomi pure una sedia comoda :) I nuovi collaboratori introdotti nel servizio colazione e ristorante sono stati bravissimi e a poche settimane dal loro arrivo hanno già dimostrato di essersi pienamente introdotti nel team. Avevamo un piccolo appunto riguardo ad un piatto della cena e le nostre osservazioni sono state accolte costruttivamente dal maître di sala e dal personale in servizio che ci ha pure offerto un dessert. Das Personal ist außerordentlich freundlich, hilfsbereit und professionell. Um in Lugano zu verweilen ist dieses Hotel perfekt. Die Lage ermöglicht schnellen Anschluss an jegliche Ausflüge und für eine Erkundung von Lugano könnte der Standort nicht besser sein. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und Extra Wünsche werden gerne erfüllt. Für einen Aufenthalt in Lugano werden wir gerne wieder kommen.

From the beginning untill end everything was top-notch! I cannot stop loving this hotel. Maybe it was my 4th stay in there, but I cannot really consider a better option. The front desk staff always get their credit but in your hotel even the ccleaning ladies were so friendful as well. They deserve special thanks too! Thanks!

Besonders das freundliche, aufmerksame Personal, das ruhige Zimmer und das feine Essen haben uns beeindruckt. Danke auch für das Upgrade, das war sehr zuvorkommend. Geschätzt haben wir auch das feine Wasser der Minibar und den schönen Lift. Das bequeme Bett, die Lage des Hotels, das es Badetücherwärmer hatte und den TV beim Bett. Auch dass wir den Koffer noch etwas länger im Hotel lassen konnten was sehr nett. Vielen Dank!

Wir waren bereits einmal im Hotel, hatten damals ein grösseres und top Zimmer. Das jetzige Zimmer war gut aber halt nicht vergleichbar - recht klein - aber für eine Nacht absolut ausreichend. Wir haben auch sehr kurzfristig gebucht da wir einen geschäftlichen Termin hatten. Das Frühstück ist unübertroffen - und wir reisen sehr viel! Kompliment! Wir werden das Hotel jederzeit empfehlen und auch wieder buchen!
