When we checked in Steven was very welcoming and later helped us with some Lugano highlights suggestions. One day we came back to the hotel late morning to find the clean my room sign still out. I bumped into a cleaner who took the time to say hello and then offered to do the room straight away. I was really impressed by her attitude and quality of service. I am sorry I didn’t get her name.

Gala was absoulutely amazing in helping us secure a dinner reservation at Grotto del Pepp. It was our favorite restaurant/experience during our two week trip to Switzerland and Austria. We loved it. I was unsuccessful in securing a reservation at Grotto del Pepp but Gala worked her magic and was able to get us a reservation. This restaurant was suggested by Gala as a local grotto that was very authentic. We loved everything about it - the drive up the mountain, the food, the staff. Thank you, thank you to Gala and our compliments to her service and great recommendation. Also, breakfast was amazing at Luganodante - so many selections and a lot of local flavor too. And and the staff were so pleasant. While the rooms were a bit small for vacationing travelers (vs. business travelers) they were also very pleasant and I liked that the room and hotel were focused on sustainability. We could have used a luggage rack though to accommodate both of our suitcases.

Nous sommes des clients occasionnels de longue date du Dante. L'accueil a toujours été top, mais nous étions un nostalgiques de l'ancien hôtel lors de la rénovation de l'hôtel. Nous constatons une progression fulgurante à tous points de vue, en particulier au plan de la gastronomie (petit-déjeuner et dîner le soir) du Flamel. Every single staff person was incredibly friendly, enthusiastic about our being there, professional, and most were fun too. Simone was fabulous every time we interacted with him. Wish we remembered the names of others. The breakfast was extraordinary. The location of course was perfect. There was an housekeeping woman her name might’ve been Elizabeth(?), She and her husband live in Como. She’s originally from Budapest I believe. She was extremely helpful in making sure we had the right drinks in our room, that we didn’t run out of toilet paper, etc. her personality was professional and engaging. And a woman at the front desk with long, dark curly hair was particularly patient and helpful in helping me print out a bank/finance item that I needed. Hands-down a fabulous day and we highly recommend you!! Thank you very much

Siamo rimasti per Pasqua, qualche giorno dopo gli impegni di lavoro e abbiamo apprezzato la vostra struttura per il clima di vacanza e relax. Il personale della recezione è sempre cordiale ed attento anche nei momenti di stress. Conoscono le mie esigenze e mi assegnano una camera adeguata dove posso anche lavorare, preparandomi pure una sedia comoda :) I nuovi collaboratori introdotti nel servizio colazione e ristorante sono stati bravissimi e a poche settimane dal loro arrivo hanno già dimostrato di essersi pienamente introdotti nel team. Avevamo un piccolo appunto riguardo ad un piatto della cena e le nostre osservazioni sono state accolte costruttivamente dal maître di sala e dal personale in servizio che ci ha pure offerto un dessert. Grazie mille a tutti, sempre cordiali e professionali!

Wir waren bereits einmal im Hotel, hatten damals ein grösseres und top Zimmer. Das jetzige Zimmer war gut aber halt nicht vergleichbar - recht klein - aber für eine Nacht absolut ausreichend. Wir haben auch sehr kurzfristig gebucht da wir einen geschäftlichen Termin hatten. Das Frühstück ist unübertroffen - und wir reisen sehr viel! Kompliment! Bathroom floors are heated; green practices ; both still and gas water in the bar fridge complimentary and friendly and professional staff in all areas. Breakfast and dinner are exceptional (hot breakfast ! amazing pastries) . Excellent service at dinner and the fish was incredible. However the pasta dish was only OK albeit we were spoiled spending a week in Tuscany eating the best pasta ever. Congrats to all the staff and management for a great job!

Never have I ever felt so welcome and comfortable. Everyone was sooo friendly, welcoming and always focused on making me feel good. Being offered a bottle of water for the way upon check-in was also a first for me. Thanks so much , I will be back!

Such an amazing hotel. Location at the bottom of the funicular was absolutely perfect for us to arrive and leave giving access directly to the railway station. The check in and check out was faultless and we were made to feel very welcomed. Flamel for breakfast was fantastic, we had everything we required for a feast breakfast to start our day but the evening dinner was extraordinary. Staff well versed in wine and food selections and my wife’s food intolerance was not an issue. We rate this restaurant amongst the best restaurants we visited during our holiday in Switzerland. Outstanding hotel, we hope to stay again on our next European vacation!

We miss the hotel we knew many years ago: cozy, welcoming, homey. Now the hotel is renovated, but chaotic and cramped. Breakfasts used to be better! I remember freshly squeezed juices that guests could make themselves, the menu was amazing. Now breakfast only seems varied: numerous sandwiches with non-obvious fillings. Why? The room was very tiny, but comfortable. Overall, we are happy with the hotel and will continue to stay with you, because the location is very convenient for us. The garage is cool, we like it, thank you! We were happy to see the staff who have been working in this hotel for a long time, it's nice!

Arriving at the hotel I realised I had booked for the right day but for the next month … you kindly found a solution to correct in a very kind way. Your service is exceptional! Everyone was smiling and welcoming. That is easy in theory but in practice not everyone does it. Your staff was awesome. Always helpful, positive and happy, on the phone and in person. I could not believe how nice everyone is. This time, we had an issue with a couple of rooms situated facing the square during the Lugano Blues festival with concerts until midnight and some of our Odysseys guests complained and a couple also complained about the small size of the room and had to be moved to another room the next day. 3 days before arrival I request 2 SEPARATE beds for 2 guests sharing a twin room, I received a confirmation from Simone that it would be taken care of, when the guests walked in the room there was only 1 double bed, they complained and waited for 40 minutes for the staff to separate the bed, the guests went back to the room and found the same double bed with 2 sheets at which point they decided to separate the bed themselves and found the floor in between quite dirty....
