Wir hatten wieder ein schönes Zimmer , mit tollem Zimmerservice und netten Mitarbeitern . Es war wieder ein schöner Urlaub im Hotel Gritti und wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch bei Ihnen. Wir werden Sie auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen!

We have been guests at Hotel Gritti several times already, most recently in 2022, and have generally always felt comfortable there. We would especially like to highlight the very friendly welcome as well as the consistently helpful and warm staff throughout the hotel. The rooms were pleasantly spacious, well equipped, and offered a good level of comfort. We also really enjoyed the indoor pool. The breakfast was of good quality and tasty, although there was no variety during our stay. Unfortunately, there were also some points this time that disappointed us. In particular, we found the surcharge of €45 per night for our three-year-old child difficult to understand. Our child slept in the same room and hardly ate anything at breakfast, so there was practically no additional effort involved. In our opinion, this price is far too high and not family-friendly. In many other hotels, children of that age stay free of charge or only for a very small extra fee. In addition, the child’s bed that we had requested in advance was not prepared in the room upon arrival. The bed sheets of the child’s bed were also never changed during our stay. Especially in combination with the high surcharge, this was very disappointing and is unfortunately one reason why we will probably choose other hotels in the future. The bathroom unfortunately did not match the standard of the rest of the room. As non-smokers, we also found the permitted smoking on the balconies very unpleasant. It was hardly possible to air out the room, as smoke from other balconies regularly drifted into our room. It was also disappointing that the outdoor pool was closed due to renovation work and that we were not informed about this in advance. This definitely represented a limitation to our stay. Overall, this is a hotel with many positive aspects and very friendly staff, but in our opinion there is clear room for improvement regarding family-friendliness, transparency, and value for money in relation to young children.
