We loved staying here, the service we received when we arrived was incredible. The hotel sorted a taxi out for us, from Verona airport. The taxi was waiting for us and dropped us off, to then be picked up by the hotels golf cart and taken directly to the door. Incredible!! The view from the balcony was amazing. We did try to do some work from here, so it was a bit tricky not having a chair for the desk, but cannot complain. This hotel isn't for working from. Staff were all so friendly and we loved the half-board options - so much to choose and eat. Thank you!

The breakfast was exquisite as well. I have never had a stay anywhere else as good as this was for me.

Wir haben eine Woche Urlaub im Hotel del Porto verbracht. Das Hotel ist überlegt renoviert (auch für Rollstuhlfahrer) , sehr sauber und auf höchstem 4⭐ Niveau. Die Zimmer und die gesamte Anlage sind sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet, die Lage direkt am Gardasee ist perfekt. Das Frühstück ist vorzüglich und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Ebenso das 4 Gänge-Menü am Abend (Halbpension) Das größte Lob aber verdienen die Mitarbeiter:innen, die sich jeden Tag so viel Mühe gegeben haben, den Gästen einen perfekten Aufenthalt zu bieten. Uneingeschränkte Weiterempfehlung!

The restaurant manager was excellent. We had a problem with dinner that was not resolved by the wait or kitchen staff and the manager stepped in and resolved it quickly and well. He understands customer service at a high level. Separately, your kitchen staff needs better management--the problem was two-fold: first the linguine con vogole had over half the clams closed (i.e. not edible). This should never have left the kitchen unnoticed. Second the other main dish was either never prepared or given to someone else but we waited an hour for it not to show up. Again, the kitchen appears disorganized and unobservant. Separately, the front desk/reception people were all excellent.

The front receptionist was wonderful - she was very accommodating, made several reservations for us and was always willing to help in any way. The main waitress at breakfast was lovely -- very cheerful, helpful and was quick to respond to requests for additional food. (The array of food was OK -- would have appreciated cappuccinos that were made by a person rather than a machine.) Finally, we had an issue with dinner one night and the manager quickly stepped in and took control of the situation (poor organization and food prep in the kitchen and inattentive wait staff that ignored our repeated requests to receive our meals), comped the entire meal and was extremely easy to deal with.

Grundsätzlich war ich noch nie in so einem sauberen Hotel. Alles blitzt und duftet gut. Die Reinigungskräfte der Zimmer sind sehr sehr freundlich. Die Rezeptionsmitarbeiter sind alle wunderbar! Und der Ablauf und Fragen werden immer freundlich beantwortet. Man freut sich, ins Hotel zu kommen und so begrüßt zu werden. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist schön.
