My wife Tracy and I first stayed at the hotel in 2001 as part of our honeymoon travelling from Rome to Venice. We enjoyed the experience so much that we brought friends in 2007 and have since returned with journalists on press trips to Florence and again last year with friends who had not been to the city before. That is testament to the consistency and quality of Hotel Botticelli and its team. Indeed, we are already looking to return in September for my birthday.

Special thanks for taking care of our bags when we arrived before check-in and special thanks after we checked out and learned that our flight had been canceled. We were allowed to sit in the room next to the reception area to figure out what to do and you allowed us to leave our bags for a couple of hours until we were able to take a train. We wish more hotels were like yours. If i was to have one criticism it would be on the last night the Air conditioning did not seem to be working very well. Other than that, a perfect stay.

On arrival to Florence on our way to the hotel my wife had an accident. Fractured her left arm we got to the hotel to deposit our bags samone was excellent he helped me get our bags to our room and arranged taxi to get us to the hospital. He and the rest of the staff were so helpful.
