While in Venice, I was robbed--all my credit cards, cash, license and passport were taken. So, when I checked out of the hotel, the receptionist asked to see my credit card for payment (instead of using the one on file, which was the company card of my colleague who made the reservation and was planning to pay for my stay). I asked her if she could keep it on that card (as the first night had been prepaid on that card) and though she hesitated at first, after explaining my situation she allowed me to do it. I appreciated her willingness to make a judgment call in the moment, thank you!

We were grateful a pickup at Verona Airport could be provided on short notice. Staff were all polite, friendly & professional & we greatly appreciated that our room was serviced promptly every day. Our only reason for bumping the rating to 8 is our room had an “air shaft” view.

A lovely hotel with great views of Palladio’s cathedral from the top floors, helpful staff and a varied breakfast. While there are no coffee/tea making facilities in the room, the lady at the reception was extremely helpful, providing a teapot and a range of tea sachets, as well as cutlery. Much appreciated!
