You are not a five star hotel, you are a six star hotel. Love the Starck design, but what really made our stay was the staff. Thank you so much for a stay we will remember for the rest of our lives. I am usually a low maintenance guest, but not really on our last trip. We arrived on a delayed train with an unexpected early termination. At the last minute, the staff made it seamless to get there and assisted us. My wife has some minor physical challenges and we booked a Gondola ride; the staff assisted her with boarding at a nearby dock. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great visit to Venice.

Irene was Amazingly helpful. She is kind and friendly and treated us so nice. She helped us get into the Fondaco dei Tedischi Terrance last minute. It was such a treat. All thr concierge and front desk people were fantastic. For breakfast, Michaele served us multiple mornings. His attention to details and remembering our preferences were really appreciated. I would definitely like to say thank you to the main gentleman who was extremely helpful (he also charged my additional night on my behalf. He also used to work at tour other hotel near Tyrol, Italy). The room was beautiful. The card slot fell out of the wall and the safe did not work (both issues were addressed before I left).

Our recent stay at Palazzina Grassi in Venice was simply extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, Edoardo and his team welcomed us with a warmth and professionalism that set the tone for an unforgettable experience. The cherry on top was the unexpected upgrade to a spectacular rooftop suite, offering views that truly elevated our time in Venice. Our first evening was equally impressive. Michaela and his team hosted a welcome dinner that was not only delicious but thoughtfully prepared. They even went out of their way to assist my companion with a purchase from a nearby supermarket, showing a genuine dedication to going above and beyond. The food was superb, and their signature Martinis deserve a special mention—crafted to perfection! The front desk and concierge team also deserves special recognition. They were quick to respond to our every need, from offering guidance during our stay to helping us when one of our bags was damaged by the airline. Their professionalism and readiness to go above and beyond made us feel thoroughly looked after. Throughout our stay, any minor issues that arose were promptly and professionally handled. The staff ensured every detail was attended to with care. As the only Philippe Starck-designed hotel in Europe, Palazzina Grassi offers a unique charm and sophistication that is both rare and refreshing. If we had to be absolutely critical, it would only be that while breakfast service was incredibly efficient and professional, it might have benefitted from a slightly “warmer” touch to match the rest of the hotel’s exceptional hospitality. But this is a small note in an otherwise flawless experience. Overall, our stay at Palazzina Grassi was nothing short of fantastic, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking to experience Venice with style and elegance.
