We had a truly wonderful and very social stay for my 40th Birthday celebrations. Staff went over and above to meet our every need and we loved every minute of our stay at the hotel. We had wonderful views from our loft room and the suite was fantastic. Our waiter (who was born in Venice) was so kind, attentive and gave us some great suggestions to visit. We wish we could have stayed longer but had left two little ones at home for the first time so we could enjoy time together. We can’t rave about your hotel and staff enough! Everything was top notch. The tone was set by the hand written welcome note. The staff deserves an 11, your breakfast an 11 and the Venetian aperitif was a special and memorable experience. Your chef Fabio is very talented. We didn’t catch everyone’s name but some we met who impressed us were Rachel, Irene, Massimo, Vanya, Philipo, Ricardo and Michelangelo (not sure we got his name right, hope you know who we mean. Service and everyone there was wonderful and very helpful! The only reason we gave a 9 was the lighting in the room. It was confusing to turn on and off, and dim, and after about 10 minutes all the lights would turn completely back on for no reason? Not sure if they were motion activated or timers or what but lights shouldn’t be that complicated. Otherwise we loved the people there

First, I lost me note with names I wanted to mention. First the two ladies that served us in bar area. They have worked together for years. Second the wonderful young lady that took our note to hand deliver to a couple living in Venice. Went out of her way to help us. I want to also thank the gentleman that helped us get back to hotel during low tide after gondola ride. We could not get off at hotel, and when we had to get off elsewhere he was there to lead us back. All in all your hotel has a wonderful staff. I will highly recommend.
