We were very pleased with the whole experience with our stay at Duchess Sofia. The location was incredible, the two bedroom apartment was beautiful. The only thing I would say is that it can be a little loud at night because you are right in the heart of Florence. Azzura and Cecelia were great, answering all of my question prior to my arrival. Azzura was exceptional in particular. She responded to every WhatsApp, call, question immediately. She helped to make all of our transfer and transportation reservations. She also arranged for multiple excursions, a cooking class in the apartment and they were great, including lunch reservations on our excursions. When we did have questions about the Air Conditioning or needed anything during our stay they were right on it immediately. I would highly recommend Dimora Italia.

Cecelia & Azzurra were excellent hosts. They were in constant contact before and during our stay. They responded quickly to inquiries, and Ceclia organized a wonderful Chianti day trip for us in the weeks before our visit and made a great dinner reservation for us on our arrival. She is very knowledgeable about restaurants in Florence. She spent a long time chatting with us about our plans. We were also greeted outside by their colleague upon arrival, who assisted with our baggage. The Dimora accommodations are exquisite. The apartment has a wonderful layout with beautifully appointed bedrooms and bathrooms, giving each guest a private space to relax, sleep and bathe, terraces to enjoy the city and hilltop views, and a large common space to gather and dine. There is even a powder room in the common space, and a washer/dryer in one of the bathrooms! There is also a compact jewel of a kitchen. They have anticipated your every need. The Dimora does not disappoint, and we hope to try more of their properties on future trips to Italy.

Azzurra was our concierge, and she was absolutely wonderful. Prior to our arrival, she provided us with a number of suggestions for activities and dining; and she continued to provide excellent service to us from the moment we arrived through the end of our stay. She was very prompt in responding to all of our questions and requests and was always very kind and professional. She even booked a hair salon appointment for three of us on very short notice! Azzurra truly contributed to making our stay even more wonderful. I also want to add that we were extremely happy with our accommodations! The apartment was just beautiful and very comfortable for our group of six people.

She keep in contact before our arrival with check in information, then greeted us at the door when we arrived, stored our luggage in a secure area, notified us when the apartment was ready, gave us a tour of the apartment, answering any questions, and quickly gave us local shopping/restaurant recommendations, when we asked. When we saw her during our stay, she always had a smile and asked if there was anything we needed. She arranged for a driver to take us to the airport on the day we left. She does an excellent job at Dimora and is a real asset to be the first one interacting with your guests. Bravo Azzura!
