The hotel was extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and had a wide selection of food choices. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind throughout our stay. They arranged a water taxi to the train station for us, and even made sure our luggage was taken right to the boat. It made our departure so much easier.

The only other suggestion is for room staff to ensure there is enough soap when we were running out. We left a note and the issue was resolved. Thanks to our room cleaners as well. Ich möchte mich ganz besonders für den herzlichen Empfang bei der Anreise von Ihrer sehr, sehr netten Rezeptionistin mit den blonden Haaren und Brille (ich weiß leider ihren Namen nicht!) bedanken. Sie war sofort sehr zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und immer freundlich. Wenn man bei ihr einen Wunsch hatte, wurde dieser sofort!!! erfüllt. Auch Ihr Nacht-Rezeptionist mit blauer Brille war sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, Er wusste sogar unsere Zimmernummer auswendig und wusste immer ganz genau, was zu tun ist. Ganz lieben Dank von uns allen nochmals!!! Auch das Personal im Frühstücksraum war stets zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wenn etwas vergriffen am Frühstücksbuffet war, wurde dies sofort wieder aufgefüllt. Es blieben keinerlei Wünsche offen. We had the loveliest time at Hotel Giorgione and would recommend without hesitation. What makes it special is the staff and how out of the way they go to make you feel comfortable and answer any questions you might have. The hotel is clean and comfortable, the decor is classic and the location is great because it is out of the throngs of tourists. The staff at the front desk are spectacular, Walter at the bar is especially wonderful and the breakfast staff were welcoming, helpful and attentive.

We have stayed at Hotel Giorgione many times over the past 20 years. We have always found the Hotel brilliant in terms of accommodation and breakfasts and we have always found the staff to be wonderful, welcoming and above all patient and tolerant of us oldies who come from Scotland and who sadly do not speak Italian or Venetian language. We enjoyed a 'first' in being met by a member of staff at the taxi drop off in St Apostoli square, which was wonderful as we carrying baggage at our age is now challenging. Many thanks also for the Prosecco delivered to our room on arrival. well, done to all staff especially Albert in the Breakfast Room who is a brilliant ambassador for Hotel Giorgione.

Such a warm and hospitable welcome greeting, what a wonderful way for us first time visitors to Venice from America to be greeted. We appreciated the front desk staff so very much, and found the bartender, the waiters at breakfast and the entire staff to be friendly, patient, first class, and helpful.. Que dire de cet endroit ?comme dirait certains, et même si je n'approuve pas les phrases toutes faites et banales du quotidien, ce mot ci est juste : "Raccord" Cet hôtel est "raccord" avec Venise depuis la façade jusque dans ses fondations. l'Accueil est de qualité : les sourires sont chaleureux jusque dans les yeux. C'est dans le regard qu'on voit si l'on est bienvenu ! Les bagages disparaissent jusque dans nos chambres ; une clé nous est remise, même la clé est vénitienne : Rouge et Or ! c'est Albert, ce soir là, qui nous reçoit ! Un polyglotte non dénué d'humour, volubile sans être trop rapide ! Depuis l'entrée où tout est lumière, sur la droite, en vitrine, un immense lustre, bien plus haut que moi ! sur la gauche, un sapin jusqu'au plafond, scintillant comme la chanson de Noël, partout des appliques en verre fleuri rose, vert et blanc... , un comptoir en acajou verni, XIXème siècle, sûrement. Tapis rouge aux initiales de l'hôtel... Ascenseur... chambre. Je ne vais pas la décrire tout de suite car c'est après la découverte de la ville que sa douceur et son confort seront bien plus redoutables. Dès le matin, un petit déjeuner délicieux nous est proposé : tout y est... Depuis les oeufs cuisinés sous différentes formes, toasts, salade de fruits frais, fromage blanc, pains variés, fromage, jambon... et la machine à espresso et autres breuvages ! il en faut bien 4 de tasses de cette boisson pour démarrer une journée à Venise ! Les yeux écarquillés devant tant de beautés au cm2, pas de voitures dans les rues, du monde certes, mais on joue tranquillement des coudes sans se pousser, sans s'agglutiner devant les lieux mythiques ; C'est beau, tout simplement. Le regard et la mémoire sont au maximum de leurs possibilités pour tout voir, tout découvrir, tout emmagasiner à jamais dans nos boîtes à souvenirs et sur la carte mémoire de l'appareil photographique. À l'ancienne... peut être, même si le portable peut, au débotté, saisir l'instant et l'envoyer au bout du monde, non pour faire envie sur les réseaux sociaux, non, juste pour partager l'émerveillement avec nos amis et nos amours. Les ponts ! ah ! les ponts ! les mollets doivent être en béton et les kilomètres ne doivent pas nous effrayer. Voilà pourquoi le petit déjeuner proposé est idéal. Le personnel veille... Nous ne sommes jamais en manque de rien. Discrétion et efficacité aimable. Et après tout cela, le soir, de retour, wouah ! les fauteuils devant la cheminée, le salon XIXème, velours et brocard, le tapis délicieusement feutré dans lequel on meurt d'envie de se déchausser, le corps relaxé, la musique de fond, certains s'endorment, la bouche entrouverte, symbolique du vrai sommeil... c'est drôle comme on redevient enfant ici, on perd ses repères,... avec délices ; le thé et le café sont à discrétion dans les samovars, le bar est confortable et le "Spritz", l'incontournable vous est proposé par un barman érudit qui en connaît un rayon sur chaque boisson ; son breuvage frôle avec la perfection ! Et après avoir pris dehors, une part de pizza ou une assiette de pâtes à l'encre de seiche, spécialité vénitienne, ou bien goûter, dans d'autres restaurants, la gastronomie inventive de Venise proposée dans une ambiance joyeuse ou les "pronto", "alora", "prego" nous enchantent l'oreille avant que les filets de boeuf en croute de parmesan ou risotto à l'encre de seiche luisant et juste glissant sur l'assiette.... huuuum nous ravissent le palais ! Un excellent rouge charpenté, ou blanc voluptueux, en accompagnement... ou parfois, un verre d'eau gazeuse... pardon Venise ! on regagne la douce chaleur de la chambre, délicatement parfumée, propre, rangée, on prend une douche; nos petits muscles tout fatigués se détendent encore plus et on plonge dans les draps frais sous la couette. Le bonheur à l'état pur ! Merci à vous tous. Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse que nous ne sommes pas près d'oublier. Claude et Dominique

The entire staff was wonderful. Those at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Albert was a pleasure to get to know at breakfast and Walter, in the bar, was also a good reason to return. We had a family feeling and welcome while we were there. Thank you all.

Thank you, we stayed at 4 star hotels in Rome, Florence and Venice during this 10-days trip. Your hotel was much better than the other two and truly felt like a 4-star experience. The other two hotels were of much lower quality. The next time we will book directly with your hotel for a longer duration.

Abgesehen von der guten, ruhigen Lage, ist das Haus absolut empfehlenswert: das gesamte Personal - von der Rezeption über Frühstücks-Service bis zur Hausdame samt Zimmer-Herrichter - ist herzlich, freundlich, zuvorkommend und kompetent. Die Räumlichkeiten sind sauber, von klein bis groß - je nach Kategorie, venezianisch verspielt und gemütlich.
