Management and staff are fantastic. They helped with all the questions we had and were so welcoming and friendly. The staff at the bar were fantastic, we didn’t get the name of the bartender and cocktail maker whose service was so personable and friendly we had two brilliant evenings having drinks before we went out. He made me French Martinis both nights which were incredible. With Venice being so busy in the summer it was nice to have a quiet few drinks in the hotel with the personal touch with the staff. With our room we had a problem with our toilet and they fixed the flush by the time we came back. Fantastic service.

Female receptionists were all very sweet. My daughter had an accident the first night we were there and housekeeping manager and front desk staff were very sweet and considerate and discreet and let me make up her bed myself because she was embarrassed. They also recommended a great restaurant for dinner that we loved. The bartender older gentleman was also very friendly and gave us some olives to have when we got back to hotel and wanted a drink in the courtyard. The younger male staff joked with my son too at breakfast when he couldn't figure out how to use the croissant filling machine and sprayed himself in the leg with it. I found the male hotel manager/supervisor to be a bit aloof and unfriendly, but he did not detract from the rest of the friendly staff at the Hotel Giorgione.

The afternoon / evening front desk manager (sorry, we lost his name) was the nicest person we met in our stay in Venezia. He remembered our room numbers when we got our keys, he gave advice on touring the island and always smiled. Also the breakfast buffet manager was welcoming and helpful.

Every single staff member was positive, polite, and helpful. In particular, I would like to thank Walter (the bar manager), for his excellent company, recommendations, and humour. On our five night stay, we spent the end of most evenings with a final drink at the bar, mostly because of his hospitality. On our first night, he put on some romantic music for us, and turned the fairylights on in the courtyard, and I used the opportunity to propose to my partner. Our stay at Hotel Giorgione was very pleasant. A special thank you to Walter, the barman, who was very professional, accommodating and entertaining when we decided to have a last drink after dinner back at the hotel. He showed us the courtyard area and made the most magnificent Sgroppino for us (explaining the meaning of the drink's name in English). His language skills are exceptional, we heard him speaking fluent French with other customers, and his Italian is not too bad as well! ;)

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Giorgione and would absolutely return. The hotel itself is beautiful — classic Venetian style with an upscale, boutique feel. It’s elegant without feeling stuffy, and the location is perfect. You’re tucked away just enough for it to feel peaceful, but everything is easily walkable. What truly made our stay exceptional, though, was the staff. Francesca and Ricardo at the front desk were incredible. From the moment we arrived, they greeted us with genuine smiles and made us feel immediately at home. They were professional, knowledgeable, and so generous with their time — helping us navigate the streets of Venice, offering thoughtful recommendations, and even sharing personal stories that made the experience feel authentic and special. In a city that can feel overwhelming at first, they made everything seamless. Walter at the bar was just as wonderful. Not only were his drinks fantastic, but he created such a warm, welcoming atmosphere each evening. We genuinely looked forward to stopping by to chat with him — he added so much personality to our stay. Hotel Giorgione strikes that rare balance of being refined and highly professional, while still feeling warm and personal. We left Venice with incredible memories, and the team here played a big part in that. Highly recommend.

Francesca was fabulous at all times and Simon always ready to help! The hotel is wonderfully authentic but also beautifully maintained and decorated. Murano glass lights everywhere, beautiful upholstery and drapes, quality bed linen and tableware. Staff were constantly polishing wood and arranging furniture with care. This was our first time in venice and the welcome we received when arriving at hotel was excellent. The reception staff were excellent helpful with guiding us around the city. The hotel lobby was beautiful decorate and comfortable. The bedroom was spotless and so relaxing and beautiful designed. The breakfast was excellent and the service staff went over and above to facilitate people arriving for breakfast. The menu was high standard and very much appreciated. I have recommended the hotel to freinds who are looking yo travel to vemice on coming months due to the welcome we received during our stay. And the location is brillant for walking to different parts. Pleae advertise this more as it will increase footfall.
