Many thanks to the front desk for their hospitality during my stay. The location was super for my 3 days in Florence and would definitely recommend to friends visiting. My only reason for the 9 was because I was unable to view CNN during my 3 days and I thought the very large room I was in, "an upgrade" was a bit odd and I felt a bit unsafe being a single on the first floor near entrance. We love Hotel La Scaletta. We were there in 2018, and we loved it so much, we returned on this, our next trip to Florence. The staff at the front desk were very helpful. The room was very comfortable, and we loved our view of the Boboli Garden. And, of course, the rooftop bar and terrace are the crowning jewels!

Our stay was amazing. The staff were very attentive and the garden suite was so beautiful and private. La Scaletta has a beautiful rooftop area for a panoramic view of Florence, and is perfectly located to walk everywhere including luxury shopping, The Uffizi Gallery, and Galleria dell’Accademia. There are also so many great restaurants nearby. We highly recommend La Scaletta and will stay there again!

The location is perfect for foot tours of the city center, situated between Palazzo Pitti and Ponte Vecchio. I was impressed by the size and comfort of my room that was attached to the large bathroom (two steps down) by a small lounge with a refrigerator and the coffee maker as well as a couch. There was noise from the street until late in the evening, but that is to be expected at such a location. Most of all, housekeeping was excellent with fresh towels every day and spotless cleaning. I highly recommend this hotel for tourists and will gladly come again.

Our experience with the staff was absolutely 10/10 and made our stay great. Everyone was friendly, prompt, and allowed us to stow our bags before our room was ready on our first day, and on our last day before we were due for our train. I am so grateful to the gentleman who was part of the team who greeted me when I arrived, sometime between noon and 1:30 PM on 7/13/24. I asked about the possibility of laundry service on 7/14/24. I was told laundry services are not available on Sundays. However, without me asking further, this gentleman immediately made a call or two and then informed me that my laundry could be picked up later that day, on 7/13/24. I had clean laundry back by the end of 7/13/24. Wow, that was so helpful AND so appreciated! And it occurred before my check-in time. The helpful gentleman was tall and appeared to be in his 40's, maybe early 50's. I assume he was part of your management; but if he isn't part of your management, then he should be promoted into management soon because of his problem-solving skills and service orientation.
