The front desk provided terrific service, especially on our departure from Florence. They took charge of arranging our taxi to the train station, checking out the night before, and providing bag breakfasts for us to take on our train ride. Awesome! Breakfast food selection and quality were the best that we found in our latest Italian vacation. Scaleta’s competition included very upscale hotels in Rome and the Tuscany region, although those hotels had better ambience and staff. I appreciate the effort that the hotel put into breakfast. I assume the hotel’s restaurant is also very good.

Thank you for a wonderful stay! The hotel is VERY conveniently located to attractions and has a wide variety of nearby eating establishments. The rooms (we stayed in two) are extremely clean. It’s a beautiful old building. The rooftop bar and restaurant has an incredible view!! The front desk staff are extremely gracious and helpful. If I come to Florence again, I will be happy to stay here again, and will refer friends and relatives to this hotel as well.

Entire staff is always very kind and attentive to me. This visit, Lucian was especially generous in going out of his way to help me while I was ill and recuperating. Also, Alcheta checked on me and Sivia helped me get pharmacy info and the room for an extra night. It was not clear whether we could access the upper level or not, and frankly the staff were not particularly welcoming to us.

Communication during our booking was excellent and when our flight was delayed you kindly moved our booking with no extra charge, which was a great relief to us. Your staff were all polite, helpful and friendly and the hotel perfectly located for a few days seeing the sites of historic Florence. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a great selection for all tastes and the rooftop terrace a lovely place to start or finish the day. We had wondered about booking as some of the rooms looked a little bare in the pics but our room was spacious and well appointed with wardrobes, plenty of hangers, plug sockets and mirrors and a lovely bathroom with huge shower. Thank you for a fabulous stay and for the Prosecco to kick off our anniversary celebrations.

L'hôtel est idéalement situé, peu ou pas du tout bruyant. On était très au calme dans la chambre que l'on avait ce qui est très appréciable, surtout après une journée de visite et autre. Le personnel est très sympathique et le fait d'avoir une personne qui nous accompagne à notre chambre est un réel plus (évite surtout de se perdre la 1ère fois). La vue du sky bar est superbe. Pour finir, je recommanderais l'hôtel et me tournerais de nouveau vers celui-ci si je devais passer un autre séjour à Florence.

La Scaletta has a beautiful rooftop area for a panoramic view of Florence, and is perfectly located to walk everywhere including luxury shopping, The Uffizi Gallery, and Galleria dell’Accademia. The location is perfect for foot tours of the city center, situated between Palazzo Pitti and Ponte Vecchio. I was impressed by the size and comfort of my room that was attached to the large bathroom (two steps down) by a small lounge with a refrigerator and the coffee maker as well as a couch. There was noise from the street until late in the evening, but that is to be expected at such a location. Most of all, housekeeping was excellent with fresh towels every day and spotless cleaning. I highly recommend this hotel for tourists and will gladly come again.

Ottimo tutto lo staff al mio arrivo, compreso il servizio di accompagnamento in camera, molto gradito. I miei complimenti per la comodità di letto e cuscini, entrambi hanno contribuito a un sonno molto ristoratore. Ho apprezzato molto le piccole cortesie (dai messaggi i giorni precedenti) che molto spesso non solo non sono usuali per un tre stelle, ma anche per hotel di categorie superiori. Per i miei prossimi viaggi in città sceglierò sicuramente ancora la vostra struttura.

Ci tenevano a ringraziare il proprietario dell'hotel, il Signor Carlo e fare i complimenti a tutta la direzione per l'accoglienza ricevuta, in particolar modo Kansul, addetto alla sala colazione, per la gentilezza e per aver esaudito ogni loro richiesta.
