In our breakfast, I cannot recollect the name of a person now. But I would like to thank her on the proactive and generous behavior. She came to me and said that you are not enjoying the food by looking at my plate. When I said, I only eat vegetarian. She ensured on the remaining days something was cooked and directly given to us. I think these small things make a huge difference and give happy memories when guests go back home.

Very helpful and nice man at the reception when we arrived late at night on Saturday. We got a room with double bed with one blanket ( impossible to sleep with only one duvet) so went to the reception to get an extra one. When with a smile I told him we don't usually even sleep in same bed at home, he asked if we wanted twin beds instead, cause he thought there might be a room available with two single beds. And there was, so he fixed it for us. That saved three nights of quality sleep, so we are very greatful for this good service from him, so please tell him that :-) Clean rooms and new towels/soap every day was nice too. Hope the cleaning person enjoyed the Norwegian chocolate gift we left ;-) And breakfast had all we needed, and very nice staff there also, If we come back we will definitely stay at your hotel again. My husband and I were celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary and both Emmanuel and Massimo contributed to make our special day wonderful. Emmanuel left a lovely note and biscotti in our room while Massimo suggested a restaurant that made our night...he also arrange a special night cap for us. He taught us the Florentine way to dip biscotti in prosecco, It was wonderful! Any time we saw these two gentlemen they always took time out to chat with us, they really made our stay feel very personal. This is a beautiful hotel - I love the woodwork and the marble. But the best part of it are the people: the lovely, welcoming Rosaria at the front desk, all the wonderful ladies caring for everyone in the breakfast room, and the attentive and kind personnel of the dining room. End of April we enjoyed a pleasant 7 days stay at the Adriatico. The service, constant attention to our accommodation and comfort were outstanding. We felt like privileged guests who's standing and every requests were treated as important and fulfilled with excellence. Room and guest services, concierge, all of the staff but especially house keeping and maids were excellent. I would recommend this hotel as a wonderful stay in the center of florence, with a location well suited to visiting the historic Florence and main shopping streets yet surprisingly quiet. The grand Hotel Adriatico is definitively overperforming its 4 star class.

Those behind the desk were very friendly. But at the checkout they were 3, one in the front and two behind a wall which is see through. Le monsieur auquel nous avons eu affaire à l'accueil était agréable et arrangeant pour trouver une solution pour la chambre avec deux lits simples et nous a aidé à réserver notre visite à Pise. Le personnel entier du petit-déjeuner était parfait, au top ! Très agréable ! Les chambres étaient très propres.

Overall we had a very pleasant 3-days. Checkin and checkout were very efficient and friendly. Shout out to housekeeping staff for their attentiveness. We travel with a baby and all were taken care off.
