She gave us such a warm welcome and a much needed glass of fruit infused water..such a lovely touch. She explained everything to us so clearly, plus advice on where we could have an evening meal. Later that evening on our return, she helped us again with giving us something me fresh milk. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Centrale in Tirano. The staff was professional, friendly, and exceptionally helpful from check-in to check-out. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it a great place to relax before our Bernina Express trip. The hotel’s location is excellent, within easy walking distance of the train station, restaurants, and the historic center of Tirano. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Centrale to anyone visiting the area.

The young woman who checked us in was an absolute success in making us feel welcomed, conveying to us that nothing was too much trouble and being warm, friendly and professional. This attitude continued throughout our stay. The staff attending at breakfast were very good. They were appropriately attentive, noticed when a particular food was low and refilled it, and kept a very good level of availability at all times.

A huge thanks to the ladies on reception who helped us sort transport to Milan after all the trains were cancelled due to a strike on 28th Feb. We were offered a complimentary glass of prosecco each as we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and the receptionist ensured we were made to feel really special. Of the 5 hotels we stayed in on our holiday yours was the only one that did something for our celebration and it made it a memorable stay. I would like to commend Giovanni for being the perfect hotel manager ( am not really sure of his proper designation) because he knows how to make the guests feel comfortable and he is solution focused for our questions and concerns on our room specially the internet he went to personally check and get the internet on the smart tv functioning.
