What a truly outstanding hotel.. the reception staff/concierge where fabulous and the young gentleman at the pool bar and pool area was simply outstanding. Always asking if we required anything and just a lovely you man. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff always went out of their way to help. We left for one night to stay in Amalfi but we missed the Onda Verde so much that we rebooked for the following night. It really should be a 5 star hotel. We can't wait to return

Hotel Onda Verde was the perfect first stop on our honeymoon and set the bar for every hotel after. The views were absolutely stunning, and the location offered a peaceful escape while still being just 20 minutes from both Amalfi and Positano. The staff were incredibly accommodating—helping us arrange taxis, massages, and tours with ease. Their service was fast, friendly, and professional, and they spoke excellent English. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Onda Verde is a hidden gem on the Amalfi Coast!

My rating on check in relates to settling with car driver service. I was unable to connect to internet at curb or in main lobby to access pay online. Felt rushed and bothered by staff that it was not happening fast enough. Dampened check in reception and opening impressions. We arrived very early to check-in (8am), but we were able to leave our luggage at the desk. We were able to enjoy and explore the area around us while we waited and by 12pm our room was ready even though check in isn’t until 2pm. They found us on the property, showed us our room and had already brought our bags to the room! We thought the hotel was fantastically presented, we didn't notice any areas that looked untidy or unloved - it shows that all of the staff and management have a pride in the property and their service to the guests. The half board option was also great - when we have stayed in other places that don't offer evening meals it can be quite stressful finding places to eat. Also if you pay up front for the meals then you don't have to worry about the cost of meals when you arrive. I hope you guys can rest up during winter and take a well earned break. Thank you again. Guiseppe and Lena were absolutely amazing!! They helped us tremendously with water taxis, restaurant reservations, even our shopping experience. The best was Guiseppe wouldn’t let us carry our luggage to our room. He insisted on carrying it all himself. Loved seeing their friendly smiles every morning. Lina and Giuseppe helped us SO much every day of our stay. One day it was raining and we needed to reschedule a boat tour we booked through another company. Guiseppe had a new one booked in minutes. Our luggage was lost on our flight there and Lina spent 2 days calling on our behalf, working with multiple taxis to get it back for us. We never would’ve gotten it back without the help of the hotel. The staff here go above and beyond and do it all with a smile on their faces. I was recommended this hotel by a friend and I have already recommended it to more friends. It was truly amazing and we miss it already and will be back.
