From the very first moment, we were warmly welcomed at reception by Gloria and Alessandra, whose professionalism and genuine kindness immediately stood out. Their attention to detail, helpful attitude, and thoughtful local recommendations made us feel truly valued as guests. One of the highlights of our stay was the immediate access to the pool upon arrival. The relaxed atmosphere by the pool terrace, where we were able to enjoy food and drinks, added a special touch of comfort and leisure to our experience. The room was impeccably clean and tastefully designed with a modern touch, providing a high level of comfort throughout our stay. Every detail reflected quality and care. Overall, everything was simply perfect. Considering the outstanding level of service, comfort, and amenities, the value for money is remarkable. I will most definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a refined and memorable stay in Florence.

Everything exceeded my expectations. The cleaning staff did an AMAZING job, they deserve a raise! I loved how there were always snacks and drinks available in the lobby. The eggs during breakfast were cooked perfectly, the chef deserves a raise too!

I was travelling abroad for the first time being diagnosed as having Coeliac’s disease. The breakfast staff were all amazing. In particular the lady who looked after me each morning during our trip. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name, but she was very caring and helpful, despite my lack of Italian. The barista was always very welcoming and made me lovely lattes and cappuccinos which I felt safe to drink, which is not always the case in the UK. Thank you all for taking such good care of us.

We had a wonderful stay in Florence. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and very professional throughout our visit. The rooms were perfectly clean and very comfortable. A special thank you to the team in the dining area who were always friendly and attentive. The breakfasts were outstanding, truly some of the best quality food we’ve experienced, even compared to many 5-star hotels. At the end of our stay we also received a lovely gift, probably from the manager, which was an extremely kind gesture. Grazie mille!

We had an excellent stay and enjoyed the walk to the centre which was very pleasant after an evening out. Maybe at reception staff could run through Spa and Swimmimg facilities. I had assumed the Pool was closed and would have used it if it had been mentioned in check in. But a great stay. Nice staff. The cleaners were very polite and friendly.

I could never feel a single moment of negativity on their part, they always smiled, talked to me, they were kind, friendly and solved each of my problems in real time. I would like to have a work team like this in every hotel I go to or in my own company. I can't wait to go back to the hotel mainly to feel at home thanks to them. Cleaning staff: she took off my hat, they don't just clean your room, Mrs. Malika and Mrs. Margot. They really do their job with love and I can feel it in every detail after they finish their work. My son and I had an absolutely lovely experience in staying at the Grifone while in Florence. The room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast choices were very good at everything was delicious. Ho apprezzato che non avessero fretta di chiedere subito la bevanda calda (di solito succede sempre di bere il caffè freddo perché non si è ancora tostato il pane per esempio). Ringrazio di cuore per i sorrisi e la gentilezza con cui sono stata accolta fin dal primo momento (avevo notato questa particolarità già quando avevo chiesto informazioni telefonicamente prima di procedere con la prenotazione online). Ho trovato sempre tutti pronti a donare per primissima cosa un sorriso che partiva dallo sguardo (quindi non di circostanza), seguito da un allegro saluto. La prima sera avevo il riscaldamento staccato e mi é stato subito mandato in stanza uno dei collaboratori, che ha subito sbloccato i termosifoni. Stanza e bagno pulitissimi: non ho trovato neanche un briciolo di polvere, nè tantomeno peli qua e là. Lenzuola, asciugamani e tende perfettamente puliti e anche piacevolmente profumati. Lenzuola e asciugamani anche morbidi al tatto. Alla reception poi ho trovato sempre tutti molto disponibili a fornirmi indicazioni stradali e a venire in mio soccorso anche solo per consigliarmi dove potevo ordinare la pizza in base alle mie esigenze.

La habitación que nos asignaron no era smart TV, pero hablé con recepción y nos cambiaron de habitación en 2 minutos. Y aunque todos fueron muy amables, recepción, desayuno, camareras de piso... TODOS quería hecer mención especial a Fernando que hablaba español y era un verdadero encanto, tal como lo avisaban el hombre venía súper rápido para ayudar. Realmente muy agradecida. Además, el día que nos íbamos no arrancaba el coche, nos proporcionaron unas pinzas de batería para poder seguir, se ofrecieron a buscar alguien que nos la cambiara... la verdad es que una gran amabilidad por parte de todo el personal Desde luego he recomendado y si vuelvo a viajar no tengo duda que elegiré el mismo hotel, porque no es céntrico, pero nos evitó las zonas de no poder acceder con el coche, parking en el mismo hotel (que fue uno de los motivos por los que elegí) y al lado mismo el autobús 14 que nos dejaba en el mismo centro de Florencia. The tea selection was fabulous, and Twinings!!! This, along with coffee, water choices, and the juice all available 24/7 was so nice and appreciated. Reception was able to happily provide plug adapters when we found our European plugs wouldn't work. The bed and pillow were the most comfortable we had during our entire trip. Breakfast selection was very good, as was the quality. Hot milk for the coffee/tea was a nice touch.

The gentleman who checked me in was extremely professional in regards to a very sensitive and unfortunate situation upon our arrival. There had been a disagreement between myself and travel friend and she left me at the hotel and went on her own. The professionalism and willingness to accommodate and help us with the situation was very impressive and I would have not received the same service in the USA. Your front desk is run by happy and welcoming staff. It felt like home. The breakfast staff were also welcoming and happy. I felt like I was in my mother's kitchen with the fresh food and hot coffee. A beautiful start to my day. Thank you

Our stay was brilliant from start to finish, Staff very polite and pleasant and even though we dont speak Italian there was lots of staff who spoke very clear English to us and made us feel so at home. I loved the fact we got someone in to clean our room every day and topped up fresh towels etc

A lovely stay. Good points are well presented room. Tea and coffee facilities in room. Loved the area for putting suitcases on and handy charging points next to bed. Useful mirror too. The cold water wasz lovely idea and we were grateful for it.
