I kept on thinking what I dislike about the hotel . The answer is nothing . The rooms are spacious , clean and with a nice balcony . Food was nice , staff was super nice . It’s a bit far from the downtown but it’s a walkable distance.

From the moment we arrived and met Mattais at reception, he may us feel so welcome....all the reception team were excellent. The breakfast team were excellent,Lucca and Christian were very attentive to our requests and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were maintained to an excellent standard.Everything met our expectations. It was one of the best stays we have had in Italy, all your staff are a credit to your hotel and go the extra mile to make sure your stay is a pleasant experience, unfortunately I don't know them all and can't name them all here but everyone was excellent.

Ducio was very warm and welcoming on arrival. We came quite late but this didn’t mean that he was less accommodating. All information explained to us, he gave us a map with all of the things to do in Florence and that was really helpful. The staff at breakfast were wonderful, they spoke English very well and made us feel very looked after and welcome. The lady there was particularly kind - I wish I’d have took her name. The staff really made our time in the hotel feel special and we really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were immaculate! Cleaned daily. I even broke a makeup compact and the missing piece was very kindly put on the side for me. Would definitely recommend. It was a really lovely experience.

2026-06-29

Hotel staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. Booked taxis for us when we couldn't get the app to work. Wellness centre was beautiful.

2026-06-29

I am most greatful for how the hotel manager Gloria, Simone (director), Alessandra (front office) and Elena / Davlat (breakfast team). How they all dealt with my unusual emergency circumstances during my hotel stay. I had become unwell due to unexpected situation in the Wellness area and had to run from there to the hotel reception area to get assistance with a hornet bee sting of which caused severe reaction. They dealt with me in a respectful, caring and most professional manner. I am more than greatful for their care and support as I was a solo traveler Alessandra ensured to check in on me through the hotel phone and the breakfast team made sure I had breakfast/ extra water. Then when I had a bad FND seizure Simone and Gloria put me in the recovery position. (From what I can remember as it was all very fast blur). They ensured I had ultimate comfort with my room and didn't expect the upgraded price instead they just charged my city tax of which I think was very generous of them. I will certainly come back to Grifone and hopefully have the holiday I was meant to have next time round. I send you all love and prayers and a big thank you for everything you did for me. I hope my constructive feedback also helps towards getting your hotel even better than it already is.

My stay at Hotel Grifone in Florence was truly exceptional and exceeded all expectations. The location is excellent, offering both convenience and easy access to the city’s highlights, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. From the very first moment, we were warmly welcomed at reception by Gloria and Alessandra, whose professionalism and genuine kindness immediately stood out. Their attention to detail, helpful attitude, and thoughtful local recommendations made us feel truly valued as guests. One of the highlights of our stay was the immediate access to the pool upon arrival. The relaxed atmosphere by the pool terrace, where we were able to enjoy food and drinks, added a special touch of comfort and leisure to our experience. The room was impeccably clean and tastefully designed with a modern touch, providing a high level of comfort throughout our stay. Every detail reflected quality and care. Overall, everything was simply perfect. Considering the outstanding level of service, comfort, and amenities, the value for money is remarkable. I will most definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a refined and memorable stay in Florence.

2026-02-20

2026-02-20

Personale preparato, disponibile, simpatico, sorridente, insomma…perfetto! Camere molto belle, pulizia top; la colazione eccezionale. Ci torneremo molto presto!!!

At the reception: Livia, Gloria, Lorenzo, Duccio, simply extraordinary human beings. I could never feel a single moment of negativity on their part, they always smiled, talked to me, they were kind, friendly and solved each of my problems in real time. I would like to have a work team like this in every hotel I go to or in my own company. I can't wait to go back to the hotel mainly to feel at home thanks to them. Cleaning staff: she took off my hat, they don't just clean your room, Mrs. Malika and Mrs. Margot. They really do their job with love and I can feel it in every detail after they finish their work. Others: Ahmid, Giorgio. Guys really concerned about fulfilling each assigned task. A big hug for everyone with lots of love from Aaron, Jasmine and Azahel.

2026-01-21

Thank you Lorenzo for giving us such a great stay and also all the other staff, look forward to go back soon.
