This is our 3th stay at this amazing hotel. It has become our favorite hotel in Italy, we travel a lot but after we found this hotel we always taling about that we need to return. Everything is fantastic the service in the bar, the reception and the restaurant. It’s one of the best breakfast I had in Italy. I have been working in the restaurant industry my self for 10teras so I really appreciate the personal service. Nothing to complain about

In particular: - your Receptionists working hard to obtain taxis for us during our stay. - your outdoor barman (ex-Savoy) for his excellent service and friendly nature - your gentleman member of staff who helped my wife with an umbrella when it started to pour with rain whilst she was walking from the pool area to the hotel. - your friendly room cleaners - your shuttle bus driver who was always very courteous and polite - the efficient staff at breakfast keeping everything topped up and the empty plates cleared away promptly.

my first visit to your hotel was about 7 years ago and always wanted to come back. this year me and my family planed the car trip from Georgia (through Turkey and Greece) and from the first day of planning the trip ai told my family that we need to make sure we reach Varese (this was the farsest point in our trip). even though i only stayed for one night and did not have time to go to the spa, I can say that coming back did not disappoint me and your hotel is one of few hotels in the world where i want to come back (usually i like to try new hotels when i visit). pool is amazing and the atmosphere of the hotel is fantastic. I’m also very happy that my family loved your hotel as much as i do.

We had a lovely 3 night stay - the hotel is fabulous - it’s difficult with such a wonderful building to keep it contemporary but we felt you had the balance just about right - yes the room could have been a bit more modern - but if the original materials are good quality o like the fact you have not rushed to update and make everything bland and modern. The hotel is charming - the staff were all extremely professional and a credit to the owners . We love how you have created a very pleasant and relaxing outside space - everything was comfortable and smart and it was just a lovely few days - we are planning a road trip through Europe next year and will look to book again

Claudia (and the other girls) in reception went out of her way to help us and suggest where to go and gave me detailed help about parking at the Villa's and art gallery we went to. It was invaluable and much appreciated. She is a Gem! Your main man in the bar was great and very friendly although I have to say that the younger girl was sort of the opposite and a bit dower or over it. It looked like she didn't want to be there. Your main man in the restaurant was also great. I ended up ordering the Crepe Suzette (and I will again). He was great and very skilled and professional. It was obvious that you retain yout more mature personel and it shows. They know exactly what to do and are very professional. It is all about your staff!

Nous connaissons très bien la région des lacs mais pas Varése. Et votre hôtel était tellement merveilleux que nous n'avons même pas bougé et avons profité pleinement du spa où nous avons reçu un accueil adorable, le restaurant délicieux et notre chambre avec vue exceptionnelle. Nous avons aimé cet hôtel à l'ancienne avec toutes les commodités. Milan n'étant qu'à une heure nous reviendrons certainement.

Séjourner, même une seule nuit dans votre établissement fut une très belle expérience . De la réception au check out, tout était parfait. Le service discret, cordial et attentif. I have a tiny Chihuahua, seven years old, very clean and quiet. Last time I stayed at your hotel the fee for dogs was already a rather high amount of €18, and not exception of whether it's a big dog with lots of hair, or a tiny one who doesn't even lose hair. This time? I nearly fell out of my shoes when I was information that the fee would be €30! Listen, folks, that's totally out of proportion and totally disconnected from the reality we live in! I can easily pay these €30, but I don't want to, and I won't in the future, which is why I won't come back. End of an era with lots of beautiful memories with my kids and my mother. But I'm not willing to pay €30 for a tiny dog. I told the ladies at the front desk: I did a lot of volunteer work over the last 19 years in the West Bank and Gaza, supervision of peace groups like "Combatants for Peace" (look it up and donate if you will), and offering free therapy for the traumatized people there. For almost two decades I keep traveling there several times a year, at my expenses, offering my time and my professional help. This year I sent $50k to friends in Bethlehem who were able to get the money into Gaza and to help people buy food for babies, clothes, tents, medication. So there you go: I spend a lot of money on cases that are worth the money. But I won't spend €30 so my dog can stay a night in my room. Just not going to happen. I'm sure you'll find other people who also have a lot of money and don't care to spend these €30 for something that simply isn't worth it. And please don't tell me that's what the cleaning of the room costs! I can recommend the BOSCH vacuum cleaner, especially for animal hairs. Or Miele, for that matter. But pretending it is a super hard effort to clean a room after a dog was in it is just really not fact based. A pity, I always loved your hotel on the hill, surrounded by divinely beautiful trees and nature. But as the saying goes, everything comes to and end, sooner or later. All the best, Heike Lorenz

Desk staff on duty about 3:30 PM on 10/29 (male and female) who were very helpful with printing our boarding passed, and very pleasant. The bar was fantastic. We had a drink at about 5:30 PM and were treated to a parade of delicious hors d-oeuvres. Service at dinner, in addition to the food at the restaurant, was superb.

Das Personal hat für alles und alle ein offenes Ohr und steht hilfreich zur Seite. Egal, ob es Probleme mit dem eigenen Auto sind ( für Nicola nochmals ein großes Danke), oder Hotelgäste, die schon älter sind( ältere Dame mit Hund, die mehrmals im Jahr zu ihnen kommt) und nicht mehr ganz fit. Ein Aufenthalt in eurem Hotel ist ein absoluter Traum, bezahlbar noch dazu. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
