Freundliches Personal, sehr gute Küche, ruhige und pittoreske Umgebung, klassisches attraktives stilvolles Hotel
2026-07-21

2026-07-19
thanks and congratulations for the overall professional management!
2026-07-17
All of the staff played their role in making our family stay very happy and memorable. In particular: - your Receptionists working hard to obtain taxis for us during our stay. - your outdoor barman (ex-Savoy) for his excellent service and friendly nature - your gentleman member of staff who helped my wife with an umbrella when it started to pour with rain whilst she was walking from the pool area to the hotel. - your friendly room cleaners - your shuttle bus driver who was always very courteous and polite - the efficient staff at breakfast keeping everything topped up and the empty plates cleared away promptly.

2026-07-10
Overall, the stay was pleasant, and the view from our 6th story room was awesome. The outdoor seating area for the restaurant and the outdoor bar and seating area were great places to relax and socialize. The staph was very pleasant for all areas and made the stay most enjoyable. Overall, we would stay there again if in the area,
2026-07-10
Herzlichen Dank!
2026-07-09
my first visit to your hotel was about 7 years ago and always wanted to come back. this year me and my family planed the car trip from Georgia (through Turkey and Greece) and from the first day of planning the trip ai told my family that we need to make sure we reach Varese (this was the farsest point in our trip). even though i only stayed for one night and did not have time to go to the spa, I can say that coming back did not disappoint me and your hotel is one of few hotels in the world where i want to come back (usually i like to try new hotels when i visit). pool is amazing and the atmosphere of the hotel is fantastic. I’m also very happy that my family loved your hotel as much as i do.
2026-07-09

Very nice staff, hotel with such charisma, we loved it! It was our second stay here and we will come back
2026-07-05
We noticed that every year the hotel is getting nicer. One thing that requires some urgent attention is that the hotel has only one old elevator which leads many times to long waits.

2026-06-18
Had a very enjoyable stay, thank you
2026-06-18
We had a lovely 3 night stay - the hotel is fabulous - it’s difficult with such a wonderful building to keep it contemporary but we felt you had the balance just about right - yes the room could have been a bit more modern - but if the original materials are good quality o like the fact you have not rushed to update and make everything bland and modern. The hotel is charming - the staff were all extremely professional and a credit to the owners . We love how you have created a very pleasant and relaxing outside space - everything was comfortable and smart and it was just a lovely few days - we are planning a road trip through Europe next year and will look to book again
2026-06-17

Although I stayed for only one night, I was truly impressed by every aspect of the hotel. The service provided by your staff was exceptional—everyone was professional, attentive, welcoming, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring guests have a memorable stay. My room was excellent, the massage treatment was outstanding, and I thoroughly enjoyed the pool facilities. The hotel’s unique old-world atmosphere and elegance create a special charm that is increasingly rare to find. Combined with the amazing views, it made for a truly memorable experience. I would also like to compliment your team on the breakfast, which was of very good quality and provided a perfect start to the day. In addition, I found the hotel to offer excellent value for money. The overall quality of the experience far exceeded my expectations and represented outstanding value. Please extend my thanks and compliments to all members of your staff. Their dedication and hospitality made a lasting impression, and I look forward to returning in the future.

2026-05-23
Claudia (and the other girls) in reception went out of her way to help us and suggest where to go and gave me detailed help about parking at the Villa's and art gallery we went to. It was invaluable and much appreciated. She is a Gem! Your main man in the bar was great and very friendly although I have to say that the younger girl was sort of the opposite and a bit dower or over it. It looked like she didn't want to be there. Your main man in the restaurant was also great. I ended up ordering the Crepe Suzette (and I will again). He was great and very skilled and professional. It was obvious that you retain yout more mature personel and it shows. They know exactly what to do and are very professional. It is all about your staff!

The reception staff was very helpful, friendly and competent. The whole staff in general was on top! Thank you!

The waiter at our evening meal was excellent - he was so enthusiastic to try the Crepe Suzette and then created theatre at our table when making it and explained every stage - it's great to see someone so passionate - it was our first night of our tour and a great way to start but sorry I cannot remember his name. we arrived at night and left first thing so little time spent at the hotel or in Varese but enjoyed it nonetheless.

Thank you to the whole front desk staff. They were so helpful and kind! The bartenders were great too!. William the shuttle bus driver was excellent. I would suggest you get more shuttle rides to town and get new pillows for the rooms, along with redoing the bucket chairs in the lobby. They are too low for tall people!

Thank you
2026-04-03
We enjoy coming back regularly!
2026-04-02

2026-02-22
Merci
2026-02-21
Yes, the stay and the Facility are overwhelming. A particular thank to Ms Noce and Ms Silvia of the breakfast service and also to the sir of the reastaurant (unfortunately I did not notice the name) and the restaurant's chef for their fantastic help in organising my wife's birthday surprise

Grazie e complimenti a tutti.

2025-12-21
I have a tiny Chihuahua, seven years old, very clean and quiet. Last time I stayed at your hotel the fee for dogs was already a rather high amount of €18, and not exception of whether it's a big dog with lots of hair, or a tiny one who doesn't even lose hair. This time? I nearly fell out of my shoes when I was information that the fee would be €30! Listen, folks, that's totally out of proportion and totally disconnected from the reality we live in! I can easily pay these €30, but I don't want to, and I won't in the future, which is why I won't come back. End of an era with lots of beautiful memories with my kids and my mother. But I'm not willing to pay €30 for a tiny dog. I told the ladies at the front desk: I did a lot of volunteer work over the last 19 years in the West Bank and Gaza, supervision of peace groups like "Combatants for Peace" (look it up and donate if you will), and offering free therapy for the traumatized people there. For almost two decades I keep traveling there several times a year, at my expenses, offering my time and my professional help. This year I sent $50k to friends in Bethlehem who were able to get the money into Gaza and to help people buy food for babies, clothes, tents, medication. So there you go: I spend a lot of money on cases that are worth the money. But I won't spend €30 so my dog can stay a night in my room. Just not going to happen. I'm sure you'll find other people who also have a lot of money and don't care to spend these €30 for something that simply isn't worth it. And please don't tell me that's what the cleaning of the room costs! I can recommend the BOSCH vacuum cleaner, especially for animal hairs. Or Miele, for that matter. But pretending it is a super hard effort to clean a room after a dog was in it is just really not fact based. A pity, I always loved your hotel on the hill, surrounded by divinely beautiful trees and nature. But as the saying goes, everything comes to and end, sooner or later. All the best, Heike Lorenz

While the first room was comfortable on the 5th floor, the high wall beneath the window unfortunately limited the view when seated. We truly appreciated your understanding and swift assistance in arranging a new room. The second room—with its balcony and bathtub—was absolutely excellent and made a real difference to our experience. Thank you again for your kind hospitality and attention to detail.
