We were travelling with Insight Gold and they did not have room for us at the designated hotel. This was booked for us. We decided to dine in the hotel the day of check in. The unexpected discount for dinner was so appreciated. Dinner was full of extras as well that just added to our dining experience. The added touch of a personal welcome on entering the hotel, the wax sealed note and sweets in our room. This is one of the most lovely hotels we have had the pleasure of staying in. Thank you for being the icing on the cake for our final destination in Venice!!!

t’s wonderful when not only the ambiance, architecture, bed and breakfast meet our high standards, but the service is also exceptionally attentive. At the reception, Asia really went out of her way to fulfill our wishes (a room with a view of the canal, and when the room was a bit too cool, that was fixed in no time; our wedding anniversary was celebrated with beautiful flowers etc). At dinner (Michelin-star quality), not only did the waitstaff pamper us, but the head chef personally explained his creations to us. So nice! The housekeeping is considerate, the breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. I love the secret garden too.. Here, you truly feel like a guest in the truest sense of the word. Firstly I wish to thank you for upgrading our room to a suite when we arrived - It was the most beautiful room i have ever stayed in and such a surprise for my husbands 60th birthday, thank you for the chocolates, the wine and the hand written welcoming notes, it meant so much. Thank you to the wonderful staff who crushed fresh ginger for us when you had run out of ginger ale, the endless room service trips to deliver us drinks, crisps and nuts. The maid who changed our bed daily, it was spotless, making sure we had enough water and shampoos. The wonderful food, breakfast was just superb, I have never seen such an appetising and amazing display. The reception staff who always said hello, making us feel so welcome and important, for taking the time to show us the best places to visit in Venice, booking us water taxis. The porter who carried our cases out along the road to our water taxi. Thank you to everyone who made our stay totally magical and memorable. It was amazing and I can’t thank you enough

Our whole experience at Hotel Bonfidini was great. This was our first trip to Venice. All staff were very friendly, very efficient and appeared happy in their jobs. The hotel was very clean. Our room was clean and comfortable.The food was good quality. The hotel was perfectly situated, in a quiet spot but 5 minutes walk from bars and shops. The transfer from the airport was easy. The trip to Murano, organised by the hotel was amazing. Thank you all so much. We would definitely recommend your hotel to others.

Our 3-night stay was delightful and a perfect end to our Italian vacation. I was searching for last minute alternate accommodation after a terrible apartment choice in another city and am so happy I came across Ca’ Bonfadini. The room decoration, size and facilities are excellent. The air conditioning system with the electronic controls for lights, do not disturb functions are super modern. All your staff are very welcoming, friendly and attentive. A slight negative is a lack in English speaking channels for the TV together with the odour that sometimes comes from Venice plumbing. Overall the hotel is an ideal choice for a luxury weekend away.

Your front desk staff was very helpful. Especially the woman that checked us in on Saturday morning. I can't remember her name but she was great. Others were great as well, she just stood out as exceptional.

We had an amazing stay, all of your staff went that extra mile! We were made welcome and very special. It was incredible thoughtful that your team realised that it was our wedding anniversary and we were surprised to return to our room to see a note and drinks! All of your team did everything to make our stay very memorable but a few whose names we have are Asia, James and the head of house keeping Natalia After checking out we were still treated like guests because when we returned after a day of enjoying Venice to pick up our bags, we were welcomed with a glass of prosecco and could enjoy some time sitting in your bar/garden area before flying back to London. All staff were so pleasant and welcoming - not pushy but always helpful and kind. We appreciate the small touches like the water and sweets in the reception area. Our room was cleaned really well every day. We also appreciated the care to look after all guests when the water was off during our stay. We loved the welcome letter and the card before departure, and the toiletries to take home.

We were so pleased for being received by the following team members: Marco and Adrian at breakfast, Asia and Giuseppe at Concierge. All four were outstanding in their service and passionate about their work. Our stay would not have been the same without them and one of the primary reasons for our eventual return.
