Everyone was great! Christian was so nice to make us noon alcoholic drinks and give us snacks. We loved the parraza area. We also took advantage of the hot tub our last night. Thanks to the front desk staff especially the young man ( Korean or Asian) he was so helpful and sweet ...we were so thankful for his ability to communicate (in English) with us he had lots of patience explaining certain aspects to us even when he would get stuck trying to translate. We traveled across Italy for 2.5 weeks and stayed in alot of hotels but your hotel was one of the only ones that the air conditioner stayed on even without the key card to turn on electricity. That made the room very comfortable after walking around in the heat of August.

The hotel balances historic Florentine charm with modern comforts, and our hotel room was quiet — a welcome retreat after full days exploring the city. The location of the hotel is excellent, easy to discover Florence on foot. The front desk team was helpful, attentive, and welcoming. We also appreciated the added value that came with booking direct, which made the experience feel more valuable. A special mention goes to the barman, who is truly talented in the art of cocktail composition — our drinks were thoughtfully crafted and a lovely way to arrive to our hotel after a day of travelling. As they say in Italian, “La dolce vita si trova nei piccoli momenti” — the sweet life is found in the little moments — and our stay was filled with them. Grazie mille for the wonderful Florentine hospitality!

I would like to give a special thanks to two professionals who made our stay even better. At the front desk, Mrs. Sepideh is extremely kind, professional, and precise with her guidance; she patiently helped me figure out how to get to certain places and pointed me exactly to where I could buy some items I needed. In the mornings, Mrs. Viola welcomed us with contagious joy and hospitality, always ready to prepare whatever we asked for with great care. By the way, the hotel's breakfast is delicious and very complete, perfect to start a day of sightseeing. The facilities also deserve high praise: the rooms are impeccably clean, comfortable, and always at a pleasant temperature. I loved every minute of my stay, and I felt very welcome and well-cared-for from start to finish. I highly recommend it!

We arrived 30 minutes before check in but we were allowed to go to our rooms, a pleasant surprise. It was also pre air-conditioned on our arrival. We were thankful to escape to summer heat. The Adler Cavalieri is truly a gem of a hotel. The staff genuinely is happy to see their guests and greet and help them. The property is gorgeous. My daughter and I spent time each afternoon in the solarium. We had nightcaps there, too. Breakfast had a vast number of choices; the staff happily made coffee drinks for each guest. During the past 10 years, we are traveling without the tour groups and ALWAYS book at Adler Cavalieri. When ( and not often ) we have concerns regarding accommodations or services, the hotel is very quick and happy to correct any & all concerns. Hotel Alder Cavaliere is truly a high quality hotel.

All the staff members were wonderful, friendly, and highly attentive. When I noticed mosquitoes in the room, they immediately sent a staff member to spray and install an anti-mosquito plugin device, which resolved the issue instantly. Also, whenever I ordered my coffee at breakfast, it was ready in seconds, and when I requested a taxi to the airport, it arrived within minutes. Since I relied on TripAdvisor reviews to choose this place, I will definitely write my own excellent feedback here because the result was truly wonderful. Thank you all! One last thing: although I had informed the management beforehand that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, the room on the first day was not up to our expectations it had a strong odor and mosquitoes. However, on the second day, Umberto stepped in and completely fixed the situation for us

Air conditioning kept room cool and very much enjoyed our aperativo at the rooftop bar on Monday 5/25/26 (our bartender spoke fluent Spanish which was delightful). He made us feel at home and we were disappointed he was not there the rest of the week. Your breakfast hostess was super accommodating and attentive. The hotel is beautiful and well kept and the elevator is appreciated. We hope to return some day but will recommend to our friends and encourage our travel agent to recommend you.

I’m incredibly impressed with Luca at the breakfast bar. I went there early this morning with my son and daughter-in-law. She is living with Celiac disease and is very sensitive to gluten. He was helpful to direct to gluten free food, but then noticed she left without eating. We had tried explaining her extreme sensitivity but wasn’t sure it made sense as we only speak English. After they left he asked me to explain again and was very eager to help once he understood how sensitive she is. Luca and the kitchen staff went far over and above to accommodate her, ensuring she had a plate of food to eat by the time we got back from the museum. He even covered the plate like I’d requested and let us take it to the room. There are not enough words to convey how incredibly grateful 🥹 we are. It’s hard to travel with someone so sensitive to gluten. We’ve come from Canada all the way to Italy and we will forever remember this particular hotel because of Luca’s kindness, sincerity in wanting to understand, then going over and above to Mae sure she could eat breakfast. Thank you!!! 🇨🇦
