This was my second stay at Hotel Corona D'Oro. I always have a very comfortable sleep; the bed is very comfortable, the room is dark because of the wonderful blockout curtains and the room is very quiet, just how I like to have a restful sleep. The bathroom is very elegant and clean, the shower is wonderful and has great water pressure. I did not use the restaurant services this time so cannot comment on that. I will consider the Corona D'oro again in the future.

The restaurant had a party one of the nights we stayed at the hotel. The music carried on until 12:30 am. This was not something that we were told about before we booked. I don’t know why that makes it ok for the hotel to not warn guests in advance of the noise that will keel up the guests up late in the night. Not impressed and would not recommend this place to others.

Thank you all for making our shortened stay at the property. We didn’t even get to open the complimentary Prosecco which I was looking forward to enjoy in the 2nd night. But due to unforeseen circumstances we had to leave the 2nd day so we are sorry for us not to enjoy the property and Bologna. We arranged two tours that we also had to cancel. We are looking to be back. We didn’t see Bologna at all after a very long day the first night we arrived. But thank you for such a wonderful welcome to me and my husband. As before, I enjoyed my stay at this property and look forward to future stays. The staff is ALWAYS helpful, kind, courteous, welcoming and friendly. During this stay, I received a questionnaire about the room. I brought some room cleanliness issues to their attention. The staff responded, apologized and offered to make any necessary changes. Their commitment to customer satisfaction is very impressive. A note about wi-fi: at times the wi fi signal for the bar / restaurant interferes with the signal for the hotel. Even after logging into the hotel wi fi; some devices will continue to try to connect to the bar's signal. It's only a minor issue and understandable given the time the building was constructed.

I arrived by car very late in the evening. I had not seen the hotel entrance, as it was dark and I was driving carefully in between pedastrians. I parked the car at the end of the street which is blocked. I could not turn around. Upon check-in, the very friendly receptionist walked with me and helped me to get the car in the parking garage even though his shift had already ended. Another colleague helped me to get the car out of the garage when I checked out. Really super friendly service. Also the receptionist gave tips for restaurants and bars. And the hotel is well maintained. It's beautiful.
