2026-09-18

Perfect. Thank you for making our honeymoon special. We absolutely loved it. We also believe this hotel is or should be 5 star.

2026-09-17

The staff everywhere were excellent. Very helpful on the front desk - giving directions, booking taxis, storing bags. And the same for the bar in the evening where there were alot of non-residents. We got served quickly. The staff in the breakfast room were first class - especially the lady who served coffee to our table. And the coffee maker too. All were superb.

2026-09-15

This was our 5th stay at the Corona d’Oro. It is a perfect gem and the continual investment keeps it well ahead. We had 2 excellent meals in Casa Azzoguidi. The team in the restaurant are first class.

The staff were welcoming and attentive, the accommodation was elegant and comfortable, and every detail from the reception to the breakfast service reflected high professionalism and care. I felt genuinely valued as a guest, and the atmosphere of the hotel made my visit to Bologna even more memorable

2026-06-28

All the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We received an upgrade on our room which was a wonderful surprise and much appreciated. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay, we will certainly return.

2026-06-26

We visited the Corona de Oro Hotel last June and enjoyed very much the fantastic hospitality of this beautiful place. It is centrally located and the suite we had was very comfortable with every possible facility. What it is more important is the hotel staff that was so helpful, courteous and professional, especially when dealing with LOT Polish airlines, that missed 4 pieces of luggage on our trip from Krakow to Bologna. A bonus was its restaurant with an excellent cuisine and a wonderful and friendly staff. Out of 4 European hotels that we visited in one month, the Corona de Oro was by far the crown of our trip. We look forward to returning one day. Speriamo di tornare un giorno !

2026-06-22

I'd like to give many thanks and compliments to Antonio. He was one of the best Hotel staff we had the pleasure of dealing with at the many hotels we stayed throughout Italia. He is a true asset to your hotel and a wonderful person! Thank you Antonio!

We thought the service overall was wonderful. The front desk team was excellent, and provided top-notch service. We thought the room was a bit small relative to the cost we paid, but the location of the hotel was fantastic, very central to everything, and we also really enjoyed the breakfast every day. Overall we would rate the hotel highly and recommend it to our friends.

We are returning customers and would like to return again. Maintaining and even improving the services is the way forward. Other Hotels are getting too complacent. You have a great team from Front Office, Reception to Breakfast waiters/ waitresses and chambermaids. They all provided a warm welcome to myself and partner. We really appreciated it.

Siamo stati davvero bene e il merito va ovviamente diviso fra Direzione, Concierge e personale tutto.

Every staff member was so kind and helpful, including the welcoming staff at the front desk and the attentive staff in the restaurant each morning. We were made to feel so comfortable each day.

2025-12-23

The hotel was beautiful, the staff were impeccable and the location was perfect. We had an Airbnb booked and upon arrival realized it was many kilometers away from the central area and cancelled it. Within 25 minutes we had booked with your hotel, parked our rental car and were checked into the beautiful room. The staff was above and beyond. Ricardo and Stefano at the bar were amazing during our stay. Your staff made this one of our best stops so far during our Italy Christmas vacation.

2025-12-22

Antonio, very nice at check in, gave us a history class on Bologna while explaining the city map. Great staff, all of you ! We felt very welcome! Thank you

2025-12-20

Ottima accoglienza e ottimo standing

2025-12-19

Dear team at Hotel Corona d’Oro, Thank you very much for such a comfortable and enjoyable stay. A special thank you to Antonio, Caterina, and the breakfast team for your kindness and warm hospitality. We would also like to compliment the housekeeping team for their excellent work, which greatly added to our comfort. We were in Bologna for a professional shoot, and the atmosphere and service at the hotel contributed positively to its success. We truly felt very welcome. We hope to return in the future, perhaps in the summer, to enjoy the balcony and the city once again. Kind regards, Anouk

2025-12-17

The staff was outstanding, we left a few items of importance and your staff was so helpful and thoughtful. We will tell all our American friends to come stay if ever in Bologna!

The service by all the staff was incredible, but Antonio made our stay memorable. His suggestions were perfect, and his breadth of knowledge of Bologna help guide us for our entire trip. We are so grateful for him!

2025-12-03

Un albergo davvero di rango. Personale estremamente gentile, accogliente, educato ed attentissimo ad ogni esigenza del cliente. Anche per il ristorante stesso discorso: camerieri e maitre come davvero raramente se ne vedono. Tutto davvero al top.

2025-12-03

Gute Hotel - Qualität

2025-12-02

On arrival on 11/30 we were offered maps and asked if we’d like help with dining reservations. At check out we were given waters and tissues for the travel. These were very kind gestures not found at other hotels in Italy.

2025-12-01

The reception and bar staff were all very helpful and friendly.

2025-11-30

The front desk employees and breakfast staff were always very nice and helpful.

2025-11-29

However, the reception staff were amazing and very welcoming, as were the breakfast staff.

2025-11-26

It is a beautiful hotel in a great location. Very clean I must share that Christian the young gentleman at the reception was absolutely professional, friendly and he was very king and gentle towards us. I really personally would like to thank him. An excellent employee.

Graİe tente per la vostra ospitalità

2025-11-07

We would like to say thank you for the welcome gift to celebrate our anniversary, the departure gift and the excellent hospitality shown to us throughout our stay. I have already provided feedback about the bathroom amenities and am satisfied these have been dealt with, these were minor issues which did not impair our stay.

2025-11-03

Both the food and service at the bar and restaurant were excellent. I would return to the hotel just because of that

Sweet, helpful, friendly and welcoming staff.

2025-10-27

thank you Ana and team for the most excellent service

2025-10-26

We enjoyed our stay at your hotel. However, our room was small with a strange layout. I suppose that in an old structure, it can be difficult to carve out regular rooms.

2025-10-24

Great Job

2025-10-24

Thank you for being very helpful courteous and accommodating. You went above and beyond.

2025-10-23

Thank you for all your care and attention making our stay most delightful. We really appreciated you helping us to stay in our Deluxe Room for a third night. We are most grateful.

2025-10-17

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome and for making everything easy and smooth for checking in and getting settled at your hotel.

2025-10-16

Actually to all of the team. Amazing people!

2025-10-15

Dining room and staff excellent. I wanted to leave them a tip but had no euros. Apologies.

2025-10-14

This was my second stay at Hotel Corona D'Oro. I always have a very comfortable sleep; the bed is very comfortable, the room is dark because of the wonderful blockout curtains and the room is very quiet, just how I like to have a restful sleep. The bathroom is very elegant and clean, the shower is wonderful and has great water pressure. I did not use the restaurant services this time so cannot comment on that. I will consider the Corona D'oro again in the future.
