We recently stayed at Hotel Villa San Giorgio and had a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic – rustic and peaceful, yet perfectly placed for exploring both Siena and Florence. We hired a car which made travelling around very easy. Our stay was on a bed and breakfast basis. The room was spotless and comfortable. While some of the furniture felt a little dated, the bathroom was modern and very clean, which made for a pleasant stay. The pool was a real highlight – well kept and ideal for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The restaurant was excellent too. The food was delicious, and the truffle risotto in particular was outstanding. The staff were also very accommodating with our children’s food requests and prepared a simple but tasty tomato pasta that they really enjoyed. Overall, Villa San Giorgio is a beautiful, welcoming hotel in a superb location with excellent food and a lovely pool. We would happily return.

The only area I felt could be improved was breakfast. Fresh fruit was not always available, which my children would have appreciated, and the toaster provided was very slow. A proper toaster would make a big difference.

Manque de rangements dans la chambre (n°2) ; il faudrait aménager les placards avec des étagères pour que nous puissions vider nos valises et installer nos vêtements Il manque un espace extérieur pour s'installer boire un verre (trop peu de place) Il faudrait investir dans des moyens pour lutter contre les moustiques (il existe des pièges pour l'extérieur) car nous nous sommes fait tellement piquer que rester dehors après 17h n'était plus possible Il serait bien d'installer un système d'aération dans la salle de bain et améliorer le wifi qui était souvent capricieux Ce sont des idées d'amélioration, car nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour

I filtri dei condizionatori devono essere puliti regolarmentte. Nel mio caso i filtri erano molto sporchi e l'efficienza del condizionatore ne era gravemente compromessa, almeno fino all'intervento del manutentore su mia richiesta alla reception. Chiaramente non posso sempre fare una verifica di tutti i sistemi al mio arrivo, per cui la prima notte ho sofferto il caldo a caua della temperatura elevata nella stanza per il condizionatore inefficiente.
