The entire team is professional, friendly, and treats every guest with courtesy and respect. The food in the restaurant was fabulous, the best we’ve had in a holiday hotel! The care and attention that went into ensuring our daughter was fed well and safely was greatly appreciated! The breakfast spread and choice when we went on an early morning excursion was fantastic, I had to take a photograph of it! The girls on reception went above and beyond helping with our queries, and difficulties trying to catch buses and ordering taxis. We used the shuttle bus four times, two of which were out of the standard service offering! We were taken to the Varone waterfall by shuttle when no other mode of transport was available and we were taken into Riva after evening meal when taxis were no available. All of the staff were excellent in the restaurant in the evening and on the roof at breakfast and during the day. We really enjoyed the music on an evening and would highly recommended the hotel to others.

I cannot remember the lady’s name, but she was so friendly at breakfast time. She had to work the bar on Friday when it rained the night before. The bar guy who has been working for 20 years there, is a gem! And the night bar server is so cute and polite. He is going to do great in this field.

Abbiamo soggiornato per un weekend all’hotel Kristal Palace e con la mente siamo ancora fermi lì. Dal momento del nostro arrivo fino alla nostra partenza siamo stati accolti in maniera eccezionale dalla receptionist Federica, sempre sorridente, professionale e disponibile. Menzione speciale va fatta a Rashid, un vero factotum dell’hotel e una grande persona. L’hotel si presenta da solo: da fuori è un colpo d’occhio e neanche dentro è da meno. La differenza viene fatta dalla piscina esterna all’ultimo piano, una vera chicca, munita di lettini comodi e ombrelloni per prendere il sole e rilassarsi, bar gestito da personale super qualificato e disponibile. Ovviamente, da lassù si possono ammirare il lago e le montagne; fare colazione la mattina in quel posto è una cosa davvero unica e piacevole. Le camere sono nuove, pulitissime e ordinate ogni giorno. Al momento dell’arrivo si viene accolti con un drink di benvenuto. La colazione a buffet è davvero eccezionale, con dolci e salati di qualità; il colpo d’occhio è sicuramente la preparazione delle omelette e delle crêpes al momento. Anche qui c’è da fare una menzione speciale ad Anita, la responsabile delle colazioni e non solo, veramente brava e gentile. L’hotel è munito di garage sotterraneo super sicuro, con deposito bici; all’interno della recinzione si trova anche un ampio parcheggio scoperto. Che dire, ora siamo a casa ma la mente è rimasta ancora al Kristal Palace; non vediamo l’ora di ritornare

Massimo was very welcoming/friendly and Ellena (apologies if this is spelt incorrectly) was very pleasant. All the above made our evenings enjoyable and comfortable. The food was excellent and exceeded any expectations we had, a massive thank you to the chefs. The bar staff were really friendly in the evening/night and were very accommodating/attentive. Another thank you to the cleaning team who kept our room feeling fresh throughout. Thank you also to the team for helping me arrange something special for my partners birthday, it was very much appreciated. Also really appreciated the early breakfast on our last day. All in all, a fantastic stay and want to extend a huge thank you to all the staff/team for making our stay in lake Garda, we had an amazing time.

Every part of our stay was exceptional! In particular the attention and service of staff when dealing with my nut allergy was the best I have experienced while on holiday where sometimes translations and restrictions of menus can make things difficult. Special mention to Zane who served us every night and always remembered my allergy and was able to advise where my menu would be slightly different whether because dishes were being tweaked for me or completely different options were being made available. It's very rare that hotels are that accommodating and communicate that clearly and it made our stay so much more relaxing and enjoyable (especially the food which was outstanding!). Our stay at the hotel was booked through TUI. The room we were allocated, 101, although described as standard was very spacious with an extremely comfortable bed. Maybe the decor and the headboard, in particular, could be refreshed as it’s looking past its best. The breakfast selection was excellent with plenty of choice and the early (6am) breakfast on the morning of our departure was most welcome. We were on a half-board package so we dined in the Live restaurant each evening. For the first couple of nights we felt the dishes arrived far too quickly after each other resulting in a meal that felt rushed and left us feeling overly full. From the third night we requested a pause between courses which the team happily accepted which made for a much more pleasant, relaxed evening. Overall the food was good but occasionally we didn’t think the dishes had been thought through, or that the chefs, hadn’t fully considered their combinations. A good example being the lamb rump on our final night. It was simply served with green beans and pecan nuts, which seemed a bizarre choice of accompaniment to the excellent lamb. Despite our reservations about some of the dishes we could not have been more impressed with the quality of the wine list. Being true enthusiasts of the wines of north east Italy we were overwhelmed by the range and quality, especially with the local wines from Trentino/Alto-Adige. All the staff in the restaurant, and elsewhere in the hotel, were superb but special mention must be made of Zane who was a credit to your hotel.

I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff at the hotel. My partner and I had an amazing time. I have fallen in love with Riva, Kristal Palace and all you kind, lovely people. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and professional but a special mention for the following: Zane and Massimo who looked after me so well as i'm a very plain, fussy eater! Nothing was too much trouble and they made me laugh every night. Zane is an angel and always happy and smiling. Juri was also lovely. Federica on reception was so kind and I loved having little chats with her. And what can I say about the dream team on the bar, Daniele and Michelangelo, they were amazing, working non stop and always friendly but professional. Daniel worked the whole terrace alone every night and was excellent. Also the young man doing the omelettes etc every morning, sorry I don't know his name but he stood in the heat every day, smiling and cooking away, thank you. Everyone was so hardworking, what a team. The cleaners and pool and maintenance staff too. A beautiful hotel, I really can't wait to come back and see everyone again next year. My husband and I had a wonderful 10 day stay at the hotel. Our stay was excellent in every way. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The hotel and our room was imaculate. The facilities and attention to detail was excellent. Finally the food was of the finest quality and choice of food was incredible and we have travelled a great deal. Our favourite had to be the chefs special course and the desert selection, especially spectacular was the Rose mouse, it looked amazing and was delicious. We found staff very friendly & efficient & nothing was a problem even working in that heat they always had a genuine smile, from reception to breakfast & main restaurant the staff were delightful, food amazing compliments to Chef also the guy doing the eggs/ crepes etc knew what you wanted & what way, a delightful person, loved the pool area & the amazing views. The shuttle bus was a great asset when you weren’t sure or couldn’t walk.Thankk you everyone the atmosphere was so friendly that it reverberated amongst clients everyone chatted to each other & of course the football helped.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All the staff were fantastic. Special thanks to Massimo and all the restaurant staff for making our holiday so enjoyable. Also to the housekeeping staff who looked after our room so well and changed our pool towels without us even asking. Thanks to the shuttle bus driver also. All were professional, good humoured and friendly. The effort which goes into presenting breakfast on the rooftop bar and clearing it all away each morning is extraordinary. The two guys who run the pool bar so professionally each evening without any additional help are a credit to the hotel. Finally the food in the evening was beyond our expectations. Worthy of a Michelin star.

Your hotel is a great asset to Riva del Garda and we had the most wonderful experience staying there .Kudos to the very comfortable room My sister Clare and myself stayed with you in June 2023 and always intended to return .We are very glad we did ! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone ....... Thanks to all your staff from the mature blonde lady who cleaned our room to the reception staff and the fine restaurant team . May I say the cuisine in offer was so delicious.I particularly enjoyed the Trentino night and Italian Tuesday on our final evening . This hotel was lovely. The food was absolutely fantastic but above tall the staff were amazing. They were very attentive, professional, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. My husband is a coeliac which is one of the reasons we chose this hotel after reading reviews. He was delighted with how knowledgeable and attentive they were to this.
