2026-10-11

All the staff were friendly, cheerful and polite. In the restaurant the waitress with the long black pony-tail hair and the head waiter were very attentive to us as well as the young bar man in the downstairs lounge. We greatly appreciated being in a quieter area of the dining hall as many coach parties were quite noisy.

2026-10-10

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel, war vorzüglich

2026-10-10

Danke

2026-10-10

Alles perfekt PerfettoToll weiter so LG Marianne

2026-10-10

2026-10-06

Very enjoyable weeks stay all staff were exceptional from reception, bar staff, restaurant staff and even cleaners. All spoke very good English and even taught us a few italian words to use during our stay. They are a big credit to the hotel.

2026-10-06

Excellent and friendly staff.

2026-10-05

We found all the staff very helpful and friendly. Those whose names we know are Massimo in the Restaurant and Daniel in the lounge bar and roof bar.

2026-10-06

Thank you for a magical stay

2026-10-06

Thank you for a great stay at your hotel. We had a fantastic week with you and hope we can come back to see you at some point in the future

2026-10-06

Every member of staff was excellent. The ladies on reception were helpful, friendly & efficient and the wonderful dining room staff were the same. Always helping me with menu choices and a little Italian. I have not had service like that for a long time, even on my favourite cruise ships. They are a credit to you!

2026-10-06

very satisfied with hotel booked with Riveara travel through hays travel. not happy with the basic plane flight budget plane as paid £1,800PP for a basic experience

2026-10-05

Sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal.

2026-10-04

2026-10-03

You have an excellent team which sets you apart from other hotels we have stayed at.

2026-10-03

A massive thank you to all the staff from reception, restaurant, bar, room servicing and to the chefs for such amazing meals a big you to all

2026-10-03

2026-09-30

Staff all really good couldn’t do more for us

2026-09-30

2026-09-29

Staff are very good, very helpful and friendly. A real credit to your organisation. We were very grateful to still be able to use the roof terrace for breakfast during our stay and also have use of air conditioning, both of these enhanced our stay.

2026-09-28

I stayed at your hotel 8 years ago and have always recommended it to family & friends. On returning this year I feel it is even more improved. The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. Being half board I experienced both breakfast and dinner. It was excellent and in my opinion worthy of 5 stars. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

2026-09-29

2026-09-27

2026-09-26

All staff were exceptional however we wanted to give a special mention to Zane both in the restaurant and at breakfast her all round demeanour and service was second to none. We also wanted to give special praise for the two guys who ran the rooftop bar on an evening Daniel and Michealangelo their personalities/ standard of service they provided along with attention to detail was absolutely outstanding.

2026-09-27

The staff behind reception, and waiters within the restaurant, were so very pleasant and attentive, with nothing being a bother when we asked for anything in particular.

2026-09-26

Amazing hotel views second to none staff brilliant especially Daniel could not do enough for you really enjoyed our stay at your hotel thank you

2026-09-26

Your staff are amazing, everyone was so pleasant and went that extra mile to make us feel welcome and valued guests. It was because of their amazing artist we didn’t want to complain about the issues mentioned above.

2026-09-20

We thought the staff were all fantastic. Special shout-outs to Massimo, Gianmarco, Juri (and the young ladies in the restaurant with no name badges) - all were wonderful, polite, informative and cheerful. In the bar at night Daniel and Michelangelo were fantastic - very helpful and friendly without being too intrusive. Charlotte and Federica in reception were always helpful and accommodating. Finally the housemaids did a great job of keeping things clean and tidy for us.

2026-09-19

Your staff in the restaurant and bar were excellent. Friendly and efficient.

2026-09-19

Overall thanks but would be good for you to look at our comments. Little things that make the difference, attention to detail e.g our coffee sachets were never refilled from day 1, no vegan breakfast but emailed ahead to let you know and your response was à handcrafted vegan menu would be given daily. We paid a lot of money for this holiday.

2026-09-20

We would like to thank all the staff far making our stay so wonderful.

2026-09-19

2026-09-19

We have just arrived home from a fantastic stay at your hotel. The staff are excellent and so friendly and helpful, it was a pleasure to be looked after by them. From breakfast on the rooftop, time in the pool, the delicious dinner and the great atmosphere and surroundings of the sky at in the evening, it was wonderful. We enjoyed the whole experience and would recommend your hotel to family and friends.

2026-09-19

The restaurant (live ) was fabulous and I am vegetarian so They happily cooked for me on one night something that was not on the menu . I definitely appreciated that . Spotlessly clean every evening. Staff were very polite, friendly and totally patient with us as my partner cannot hear well so often asked for things to be repeated, they did not show any impatience with him .

2026-09-19

Special mention to Massimo, Gianmarco and female assistant (sorry didn’t catch her name) who covered our table (34 or 35) in the restaurant, and Daniel and Michelangelo in the sky bar - all provided a very pleasant and attentive service. They were the main people covering us but all other staff provided the same standard of service - everyone was very friendly and polite.

2026-09-20

I would like to thank all the staff for helping us have a fantastic holiday. I'd like to give a particular shout out for Massimo and Zane in the restaurant.

2026-09-19

Every member of staff has been wonderful and are a real credit to your hotel but wouldn’t come back because of the noise (We didn’t have this issue at the Garda Suite Hotel) maybe better we try your apartments if we come back to Riva

2026-09-19

Your staff make the hotel and everyone was just so nice and professional

2026-09-20

This was our 3rd stay and we returned with a couple that we met at the hotel last year. We keep on returning due to the lovely and accommodating staff, along with the location of the hotel. We will definitely be back and are planning a holiday to Hotel Splendid in the Dolomites too due to the excellent staff.

2026-09-19

All the staff were amazing. In particular we'd like to highlight the following individuals: The Maitre d' Massimo was outstanding. Very calm, confident and competent which very obviously filtered down to his staff. Zane was a brilliant waitress. How she remembers what everyone likes after one night is a rare quality, but we also found her friendly, engaging and genuinely interested in her clients. Finally, the young waiter who didn't have a name tag. Incidentally, whether he was there as a temporary member of staff or not, we think he should have had one. He was a fine young man and a rare find these days with someone so young. We'd like you to thank him and wish him well with his upcoming studies. I'm sure whatever he decides to do, he'll do well.

2026-09-19

All staff were professional and courteous. Our request for the guest card was done very efficiently. The food that had in the resturant was 5 star in my opinion. I would recommend anyone to stay at the Kristal Palace. We hope to return again very soon.

2026-09-20

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, made all the better by your staff

2026-09-20

Thank you for an enjoyable and relaxing holiday, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Our only comment is that it would be better if the room we had would have had some draws.

2026-09-19

We really enjoyed our stay at Kristal Palace. Thank you to all the staff who really made our stay so enjoyable and looked after us so well. You catered for my coeliac needs so well. A big thank you to you all.

2026-09-17

War alles bestens zu unserer Zufriedenheit . Hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Mit freundlichen Grüßen Wegner

2026-09-17

2026-09-16

My husband Stephen and I have a wonderful stay at your hotel. Would definitely recommend it and hopefully come back another time. Thank you.

2026-09-17

Top class service from each and every member of staff.

2026-09-16

Had a fantastic stay. Every member of staff was exceptional.

2026-09-16

2026-09-16

Really enjoyable stay, we stayed at your Kristal hotel 7-8 years ago when our kids were teenagers & we really wanted to return as a couple. Whole experience was great in sept 2026 ranging from check/in efficiency, professional housekeeping, best in class breakfast & diner experiences, etc -the only disappointing element for us was that we made our reservations through a travel agent and the accommodation costs were exorbitant and we now know the benefits of dealing direct with Tonelli hotels when booking future stays. Keep your the great work. We’ll be back, Kind regards Sean Kennedy Galway - Ireland

2026-09-14

Vielen lieben Dank an Alle!!!!

2026-09-15

Zavi was most charming, kind and helpful person at breakfast and dinner. Helpful way beyond her role. Charlotte on reception was very helpful when I had an issue with a Tui excursion, and the young man who waits tables on the roof terrace in the evening was always watching ready to serve, and charming and efficient in the service he gave. All the staff were pleasant and excellent.

Excellent staff in all aspects of hotel management. Courtesy and efficient staff in all sections of the hotel. Will return particularly if discount or incentives available to returners. Also an economic transfer to and from Verona airport would be appreciate. Also a day or evening service/trip to Verona opera would be excellent.

2026-09-10

Everything was very satisfactory. Especially thanks to Daniel in the roof bar.

2026-09-09

We both had a wonderful stay and the food at dinner was first class. The staff were all very nice and helpful. Thank you again for a lovely week.

2026-09-07

2026-09-06

I enjoyed my stay and the staff were of the highest standard and great hospitality was provided.

2026-09-04

We want to thank the whole team at Hotel Kristal Palace for making our first trip to Italy so memorable. Everyone we spoke to was kind and helpful. We were so surprised when we entered our room and found treats and a bottle of champagne as a gift for our honeymoon. We then received another bottle and treats for my husband's birthday later in the week. This was above and beyond what we would have ever expected, so we want to extend our greatest appreciation to all who were involved. Grazie!!

Amazing staff who are so friendly and make your holiday special

2026-09-03

vielen Dank für die schönen Tage !!

2026-09-03

It was our first stay at a Tonelli Hotel. The high standard at Hotel Kristal Palace was immediately recognised. The staff were very friendly and approachable, with special mention to Massimo his dining staff, Luigi's staff who produced an excellent choice of menu each day, Michelangelo and Daniel the bar staff. The hotel was maintained to a high standard which is not always seen in other hotels. The hotel was situated in Riva to allow guests easy access to the beach and the local town.

2026-09-02

The staff at your hotel are excellent. Extremely professional, attentive and friendly. Cannot praise them highly enough. Also compliments to the chefs as the food was very high quality. Thank you!

Thank you so much for an incredible stay. Made even more special with it being our honeymoon and the lovely pastries and Champagne the hotel provided. The bar staff at night were amazing especially the younger man who was so friendly and remembered our orders every night and Massimo and the team in the restaurant were so attentive, informative and professional. This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in, beautiful touches like the towels and beach bag in the room, the sun loungers, the live music was incredible topped with the beautiful views of Riva. The food was beautiful and so varied, even for someone who doesn’t eat meat. We also loved taking the bikes for a bike ride. We couldn’t have asked for a better hotel to spend our honeymoon in, and can’t wait to visit again!

2026-08-29

You have a collection of excellent staff ! A number of your staff were exemplary in their friendly and fun approach whilst being very professional. In particular the ladies and gents at the pool terrace really looked after us during breakfast and through the rest of the day into the evening. We have stayed in the Kristal palace for our past 3 vacations, and on each occasion we have found the hotel to maintain an exceptionally high and consistent standard. The entire team is professional, friendly, and treats every guest with courtesy and respect. We would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to our family and friends, and we are already looking forward to returning again next year.

2026-08-06

Herzlichen Dank für die tollen Tage

2026-08-05

Members of staff all very courteous and went out of their way to be friendly and helpful.

2026-08-06

The food in the restaurant was fabulous, the best we’ve had in a holiday hotel! The care and attention that went into ensuring our daughter was fed well and safely was greatly appreciated! The breakfast spread and choice when we went on an early morning excursion was fantastic, I had to take a photograph of it! The girls on reception went above and beyond helping with our queries, and difficulties trying to catch buses and ordering taxis. We used the shuttle bus four times, two of which were out of the standard service offering! We were taken to the Varone waterfall by shuttle when no other mode of transport was available and we were taken into Riva after evening meal when taxis were no available. All of the staff were excellent in the restaurant in the evening and on the roof at breakfast and during the day. We really enjoyed the music on an evening and would highly recommended the hotel to others.

2026-08-05

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2nd consecutive year at your hotel. Your staff are a credit to you. Nothing too much trouble.

Grazie per gentilezza e professionalità

2026-08-02

I cannot remember the lady’s name, but she was so friendly at breakfast time. She had to work the bar on Friday when it rained the night before. The bar guy who has been working for 20 years there, is a gem! And the night bar server is so cute and polite. He is going to do great in this field.

2026-08-02

2026-08-02

The two gentlemen at the bar. Absolutely top class professionalism and service.

2026-08-01

Thank you to housekeeping for keeping our room immaculate each day. Thank you to the restaurant staff, in particular Zane and Massimo for their kindness and professional hospitality. Thanks to the chefs for the wonderful food and artistic presentation.

2026-08-01

We had a lovely stay and will definitely recommend your hotel, the breakfast was exceptional and we had excellent service during the day from the 2 Croatian waitresses and the 2 gentleman on the bar in the evening were also very efficient and friendly. We came after dinner 3 of the nights to listen to the music and it was sadly very disappointing hence there was very few customers. I love live music and your roof top terrace is such an amazing venue I really think if you had better acts the place would have been full ! We will certainly recommend your property to our friends I've already told my travel agent it was an excellent stay !

2026-08-02

Violet, Anita and the evening barmen were fantastic.

2026-08-02

Grazie

2026-08-01

Thanks to all your staff including the cleaner to our room.

2026-08-01

Thank you to all the staff at Hotel Kristal Palace. We had an amazing stay and have already recommended it to our friends and family. A special thank you to all the staff during evening service in the Live Restaurant, this was always a lovely atmosphere for our evening meal and everyone was very attentive.

2026-08-01

All you staff are superb. Very professional and also friendly. I was there when someone had a medical Incident on the sun loungers and it was dealt with very well.

2026-07-30

2026-07-29

We had a wonderful stay and were particularly delighted with the unfailing friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The breakfast and in particular the evening meals were absolutely outstanding in every way. Having a separate vegetarian and pescatarian menu was an added bonus. Overall a brilliant stay and we would love to return one day. Thank you to everyone we came into contact with and to those working behind the scenes! Alice & Justin

2026-07-30

An amazing stay with excellent food and service - particular thanks to Zane for accommodating for my partners nut allergy with ease

2026-07-30

Every part of our stay was exceptional! In particular the attention and service of staff when dealing with my nut allergy was the best I have experienced while on holiday where sometimes translations and restrictions of menus can make things difficult. Special mention to Zane who served us every night and always remembered my allergy and was able to advise where my menu would be slightly different whether because dishes were being tweaked for me or completely different options were being made available. It's very rare that hotels are that accommodating and communicate that clearly and it made our stay so much more relaxing and enjoyable (especially the food which was outstanding!). Thank you so much!!

2026-07-29

Staff were exceptional. Especially the restaurant staff. Zane was fantastic and made our experience all the better. Massimo was very welcoming/friendly and Ellena (apologies if this is spelt incorrectly) was very pleasant. All the above made our evenings enjoyable and comfortable. The food was excellent and exceeded any expectations we had, a massive thank you to the chefs. The bar staff were really friendly in the evening/night and were very accommodating/attentive. Another thank you to the cleaning team who kept our room feeling fresh throughout. Thank you also to the team for helping me arrange something special for my partners birthday, it was very much appreciated. Also really appreciated the early breakfast on our last day. All in all, a fantastic stay and want to extend a huge thank you to all the staff/team for making our stay in lake Garda, we had an amazing time.

The service staff in the evenings and at breakfast were excellent. Particularly Zane, who was incredibly pleasant and helpful, we were extremely fond of her. Massimo and Elainia were also very kind and helpful at dinner. The two men who served drinks on the sky bar in the evenings were also excellent and had great character. They are an absolutely fantastic team of people and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Our stay at the hotel was booked through TUI. The room we were allocated, 101, although described as standard was very spacious with an extremely comfortable bed. Maybe the decor and the headboard, in particular, could be refreshed as it’s looking past its best. The breakfast selection was excellent with plenty of choice and the early (6am) breakfast on the morning of our departure was most welcome. We were on a half-board package so we dined in the Live restaurant each evening. For the first couple of nights we felt the dishes arrived far too quickly after each other resulting in a meal that felt rushed and left us feeling overly full. From the third night we requested a pause between courses which the team happily accepted which made for a much more pleasant, relaxed evening. Overall the food was good but occasionally we didn’t think the dishes had been thought through, or that the chefs, hadn’t fully considered their combinations. A good example being the lamb rump on our final night. It was simply served with green beans and pecan nuts, which seemed a bizarre choice of accompaniment to the excellent lamb. Despite our reservations about some of the dishes we could not have been more impressed with the quality of the wine list. Being true enthusiasts of the wines of north east Italy we were overwhelmed by the range and quality, especially with the local wines from Trentino/Alto-Adige. All the staff in the restaurant, and elsewhere in the hotel, were superb but special mention must be made of Zane who was a credit to your hotel.

2026-07-25

We had an excellent stay at the hotel. All the staff were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The food and facilities were excellent

2026-07-25

The rooftop bar team was skilled, professional, and welcoming. They worked together exceptionally well as a team. I will decently come back

2026-07-22

All of the staff ,in all departments, are a great asset to the hotel. The food was excellent too. I have recommended the hotel to several people who have expressed an interest in staying at lake garda. Plus on the flight back I showed a lady pics of the food who said she will be booking as she was very disappointed with the hotel she stayed at ( tinned fruit, pre cooked meals) . I would stay here again.

2026-07-22

The chef needs to be congratulated on his outstanding menu which was complimented hugely by the kindness & attentiveness of the staff working in the restaurant. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, The cleanliness of the hotel , pool and room service was outstanding, we will definitely be returning. Thank you so much for making it a special holiday for us ! Sending our warmest wishes to the whole team , Kindest regards Barry & Sue Sharp ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This hotel was lovely. The food was absolutely fantastic but above tall the staff were amazing. They were very attentive, professional, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. My husband is a coeliac which is one of the reasons we chose this hotel after reading reviews. He was delighted with how knowledgeable and attentive they were to this. He found the food outstanding and was delighted. We would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so special and looked after us so well.
