Hotel Metropolitan & Met's Apartment

2026-10-12

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Metropolitan in Bologna. The hotel is beautifully appointed, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The woman at the front desk was especially friendly, helpful, and very organized, making check-in easy. Breakfast was delightful, and the two young women managing it deserve special recognition. They worked hard, were attentive, and made the morning a pleasure. We also loved the rooftop bar, where the gentleman looking after us helped make it a lovely evening. Overall, a great experience with wonderful hospitality. We would happily recommend Hotel Metropolitan and stay again.

Professionalità, gentilezza, preparazione, efficienza Qualità che contraddistinguono tutti

2026-10-03

Special thanks to breakfast team. Service always friendly and with a smile. Food selection was much more than we expected, extra points from fruit selection! Rooftop bar was our favorite for apero.

2026-09-29

Un séjour magnifique, merci beaucoup!!!

2026-09-28

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. All the staff we dealt with were extremely welcoming and friendly. Everyone went out of their way to help us with information about restaurants and how to get around the city.

2026-09-28

Well done to all the team…..you make a stay here most enjoyable

2026-09-27

Everyone was polite and helpful.

2026-09-26

We enjoyed the stay in the olive court, the seclusion, and the rooftop bar.The hotel has a great location. The extensive breakfast buffet was not expected and much appreciated. Superclean. Impovement: More help with luggage. May be a ramp can be installed to the olive court?. Our suite was lovingly decorated but the bed curtains were dusty and smelled faintly of smoke. The air-conditioning blows directly onto the bed. Consider a screen to deflect the draft. And these are very minor issues.

2026-09-23

Both the staff at breakfast and the bar staff at the roof terrace were very friendly, accommodating and efficient.

2026-09-23

Raro senso dell'ospitalità. Eccellente adattamento degli spazi alle esigenze dell'ospite che si sente ovunque ai son aise.... Modernità intelligente degli arredi.

2026-09-19

2026-09-06

Thanks to the front desk staff for their helpful attitude. I’d also like to compliment you for the high quality and variety of your breakfast offering. We stayed at numerous 4-Star hotels during our recent travels in Italy, and your breakfast was far and away the best we encountered. The fresh fruit, the pastries and the fact that it varied a bit from one day to the next made for a very enjoyable experience. Also, the ladies working the breakfast area were all gracious and attentive, taking great care to ensure offerings were restocked and presentation was spot-on - all very well executed.

2026-08-26

We enjoyed our stay very much, staff was friendly and attentive, we enjoyed the bar and restaurant tips we were given. All were hitting the spot for us. The room was calm and quiet, we appreciated the lack of sound pollution. One improvement I may suggest: a second folding stool for a suitcase. We especially loved the central location, the easy pedestrian access to all : sightseeing, dining, shopping and

2026-08-22

The breakfast staff were very friendly. On our second morning, they remembered our specific coffee requests.

2026-07-31

Cleaning staff and bar staff on the fifth floor were very friendly professional and made the experience better.

2026-07-29

We were very happy with the roof top bar, as we were tired from our travels and thought we’d pop up for a drink. We were served fresh and delicious complimentary snacks in a lovely setting. We had an early flight and had to leave before breakfast hours began, but Anita arranged for us to be let in and have some breakfast before it officially opened. The breakfast was exceptional. Anita also called a taxi for us and was very gracious and helpful.

2026-07-27

Due to my husband’s health we had a few requests. All of them were satisfied, they even provided a dedicated refrigerator for his because the one in the room would them off when you removed the key. We requested a tub, for him to be able to soak his legs, and not did they deliver. He absolutely loved having one especially one with jets! These two accommodations provided us with a level of comfort and ease we didn’t feel elsewhere. The staff was very helpful and even expressed concern at times. Seemed an odd thing to comment on, but the bathroom doors close so gently and quietly when someone gets up in the evening. This is all because the latch only appears when the door is closed (it’s magnetic!). This allowed us deep sleep, especially combined with the solid windows.

2026-07-26

All the staff that we came into contact were very good. We were looked after exceptionally well from the moment we arrived. In fact, there was a problem with my payment card in the few days before we arrived and this was resolved quickly and efficiently. Thank you to all involved.

2026-07-22

Special thanks to the lovely breakfast staff; they were extremely welcoming and friendly and served us some excellent coffees each mornings!

2026-06-18

Emplacement parfait. Equipement du studio complet.

2026-06-18

Thank you to the wonderful staff who cleaned our room. Also the waiter at the rooftop lounge was outstanding too.

2026-06-17

When we made the reservation, we stated that there were three adults and two children (aged 2 and 4). Upon arrival, we were told we would need two rooms. However, the room we were given was actually spacious enough for all of us. It would have been fine if it were just an average room, but after some discussion, they spoke to the manager, who gave the green light for us all to stay together. If there are occupancy limits, they should be specified at the time of booking. That way, tourists don't find themselves having to pay for an unplanned extra room—or, even worse, facing a situation where someone has nowhere to sleep. Thank you very much for your flexibility at your beautiful hotel. Everything was perfect.

2026-06-17

We appreciate the hotel management to accommodate our last minute booking extension in a business suite for a family of 4. Very smooth check in and check out. We absolutely love the suite atmosphere and the beds are super comfortable!
