The checkin was warm and welcoming, with excellent explanations of all the services and the spa. The room was sparkling clean and the bed was comfortable. The upgrade to a lake view room was at a reasonable price. When we return to Bellagio there is no question that we will stay at Hotel du Lac again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Séjour exceptionnel à l’Hôtel du Lac à Bellagio. Un véritable hôtel de charme, idéalement situé, avec des chambres superbes offrant une vue magnifique sur le lac. Le cadre est tout simplement apaisant et dépaysant. Le personnel est particulièrement attentionné, toujours disponible et souriant, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent, composé de produits frais et variés. Une adresse que je recommande sans hésiter.

I cannot say enough good things about the wonderful front desk staff, who made us feel very welcome. The breakfast buffet is outstanding, and also the breakfast serving staff. The housekeeping service is excellent, also.

Many thanks for our fantastic visit. We cannot fault the hotel in any way. Concierge were fantastic and cleaning staff very thorough. Spa is lovely and clean and peaceful. Outside for drinks was a real treat both downstairs and on the roof terrace. Waiting staff brilliant at breakfast and on the terrace. Bed mattresses perhaps a little firm but personal preference nothing else at all I can fault. We will be back again in the future!! Johnny

We had an absolutely wonderful time here. The staff was so friendly and welcoming- we loved Maria and Millie in the restaurant. They were so sweet to our baby. The room was comfortable and always cleaned with new towels. We loved the spa and had a great massage. It was so kind to provide items for our baby in the room. We have no complaints and would love to stay here again. It was better than we expected.

The staff at the hotel went above and beyond. Family owned, they are always there to help with all of our questions and we had many since it was our first time in the area. The hotel could not have been in a better location right on the water in the town of Bellagio. The breakfast was great (bacon crispy) and we were there when the rooftop bar opened for the season which was nice to go to for a cocktail and snacks! The bed was very comfortable, it was the only bed that was not hard on our entire Italy trip.

I would give this hotel 5 stars. We loved every single day spent there: lovely staff, amazing views, perfect location. We have rented a car and have been provided with a garage. The road from the airport wasn’t as difficult as we were expecting, there was a wiggly road at the end, but not too narrow, two cars can pass. The room was very quickly served with TLC. The breakfast was with a very good variety of choices. We would definitely recommend this place.

We booked a standard room and were upgraded to room 61 on the top floor next to the terrace and had a partial view of the lake. We absolutely LOVED it and will stay here again! We also reserved the spa one evening and had it to ourselves - it was such a treat! One morning, I got a 60-minute deep tissue massage, and it was so wonderful. The restaurant on the ground level was absolutely fantastic, and the hotel offered the best complimentary breakfast with the best view. We loved our time here!

All of the staff were truly amazing, nothing was too much trouble for them. This is what separates good hotels from great hotels. The restaurant and fare offered was also of a quality not associated with most hotels. We enjoyed the meals so much, we dined there four nights out of five, having discovered the restaurant on our second day. The hotel also offers a roof top terrace/bar, where you can relax and take in the glorious views of Lake Como.

Dear Hotel de Dulac, Paola..at the front desk was a life saver. After being stranded in Bellagio (Floods/Mud slides, roads blocked) she came to our rescue. The phone usb charger sockets next to the bed and 13 amp English socket was genius and meant my travel adapters were redundant . An added touch in the room was a small guide book for lake Como .The reception staff Zara and Graziano were only two of the exceptional staff , and their knowledge was very broad from transport to recommendations for restaurants etc. The breakfast for lovely and more than adequate for the start to a day on the Lake . We are very experienced travellers and used to stop in different hotels and being in Hotel Du Lac & SPA we felt like we stopped in a 5 stars hotel. Everything was beyond our expectations. The location was very good and the views the hotel offers were gorgeous. Our room was always super clean. The breakfast had excellent variety and the staff was caring and helpful. I would like particularly to thank Ganga for looking after me, her attention to my wishes. All receptionists were extremely helpful as well and very friendly but Sara was just amazing. I think where this hotel really shines is with the service. Everyone is super nice and welcoming and extremely professional about their jobs. On top of that, I found the rooms to be very spacious for their price and they were decorated quite nicely. The views were also stunning, and it was nice to have that little balcony to go out on and read and such. The breakfast was really well done and high quality, and had a great variety of offerings.

I had tears in my eyes when I first walked out on the balcony since the beauty of Lake Como and the mountains took my breath away. I must also mention Chiara (sp?) She wholeheartedly welcomed us upon arrival and that made for a wonderful start to a fabulous time in Bellagio. Also thank you to Luca! He and his wife made us feel like family. We had an amazing Dispensa 63 Dinner in Nature on Tuesday night then on Wednesday evening we were asked to join the party at Du Lac for the lovely Dispensa chef. ( Ce n’était pas notre cas, on a réservé trop tard😟) Petit déjeuner varié et excellent, salle au 1er étage avec terrasse et vue sur le lac. La brasserie au RDC offre un menu simple d’un très bon rapport qualité prix. Le restaurant gastronomique au 1er étage vient d’ouvrir: c’est déjà au top avec un menu digne d’une citation au Michelin. Les prix sont raisonnables pour la qualité et la vue sur le lac fabuleuse. Cet endroit va avoir du succès! Cerise sur le gâteau : le bar roof-top pour un apéritif en dominant le lac. Bref, on a adoré notre séjour. Cet hôtel ne se contente pas d’un emplacement idéal. L’accueil par tout le personnel, aux restaurants, au bar, est plein d’attentions et personnalisé. Une mention spéciale pour Daniele, un des propriétaires, à l’accueil qui nous a trouvé des places et réservations (restaurant, visite de la villa Balbaniello) alors sue ces endroits affichaient complets.

This hotel is absolutely amazing! We were 5 people stuck in bellagio and couldn’t find a way back to Milan. At 12.30 am, with the help of the receptionist, we were able to book a room. We absolutely loved our stay at your hotel, and having a balcony with the incredible view of the lake was just wonderful! The room was immaculate as was the whole hotel from what we could see. The breakfast was delicious with lovely staff assisting with anything we required. It was such an exciting trip for us with our daughter getting married and so many friends and family joining us. The staff were all fantastic and very attentive helping with all our needs in the build-up and on the day of the wedding when all the bridal party were getting ready in our room. We have visited Italy on many occasions but this was our first visit to Lake Como. We would love to return one day.

We recently had an 8 day stay at Hotel Du Loc Bellagio. What a beautiful experience from start to finish. Our room was spacious so we didn’t feel cramped for such a long stay with a nice large bathroom and room to store all of our things. Everything was spotless and very clean with a very comfortable bed/bedding. We even commented that we slept better there than we do at home. Some very special things to make note of. From the moment we walked through the lobby doors we were welcomed like family from the hotel staff. This is a family owned and operated hotel since the 1950’s and their attention to detail and pride in what they do is evident in every detail from the cleanliness to the staff they hire. Everyone is wanting to help. Danny, one of the sons was particularly kind and helpful. Another thing to note is the amazing breakfast served each morning and we’re informed that another son (who is a chef) has taken over all of the food service for the hotel starting the beginning of this year, 2025. I can honestly say that after traveling Europe extensively over the past decade that the breakfast served each morning was one of the best we’ve ever experienced regarding the quality, freshness and preparation of the food. You can just tell that the suppliers used for their food preparation are exceptional! Bakery that melts in your mouth! Delicious eggs, bacon and sausage! Coffee and hot chocolate made to order! Well done! Two other great features specific to Hotel Du Loc Bellagio are the rooftop terrace and the complimentary Spa. Amazing! The views from the roof are fabulous and the ability to rest in a hot tub or sauna at the end of a busy day was great. A final comment, after ferrying to most of the main towns on Lake Como we noticed quite a few other hotels with a similar name “du loc”. Don’t be confused into thinking that they are a “chain” of hotels like what is found in the states. Each one is completely independently owned and not connected in any way. A final thank you to the Leoni family for a very enjoyable visit!

What a wonderful hotel! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and the views magnificent. When I had to reschedule my visit, the hotel offered to waive my cancellation fee if the room could be resold, which it was - that saved me some money and was very much appreciated! The staff even helped press my tuxedo shirt for a wedding I had the next day, and they did a great job! In short, your hotel is beautiful and very well managed, and I will be recommending it to anyone who visits Bellagio. Thank you for making my visit so memorable!

We absolutely loved our stay! 9 years ago we got married at Villa Carlotta and we stayed at Hotel Bellagio then but had a lot of dinners and drinks at Du Lac restaurants and Roof Top (both the one who is downstairs and the one that is breakfast now). So the hotel is special for us because we have a lot of memories attached to both Du Lac and Bellagio hotel. We really enjoyed the renovations that have been made at the hotel and the rooms are absolutely gorgeous. The spa, the food and the very very kind staff was all amazing!

We enjoyed the outside bar area and again the staff were all very engaging and friendly with the added bonus of the rooftop bar on two evenings when the weather permitted us to enjoy some great service and lovely cocktails.

I have to say that Gloria and Marina were so wonderful to us when we came for lunch on Saturday. I had booked a table but had to email to change the booking. Gloria replied so quickly and with such thoughtfulness that we had no worries at all and knew a table would be ready for us. She was so genuine and welcoming when we arrived it felt really special. Marina looked after us at the table, she was just delightful! She looked after us so well and even arranged for a candle for my father's dessert as it was his birthday. They both made our visit so special! I had booked the table after visiting your bistro 6 years ago and having a great experience. We will be back! Thank you!

We had a fabulous stay at the beautiful Hotel De Lac everything was perfect, the location amazing and the views spectacular, we had the most charming balcony on the side of the hotel, which we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on and people watching, our only negative comment is on our last night there was a singer which was lovely but then the disco came on which had it been not as loud we would not have minded but it was so loud, we are not miserable people we love music and people having fun, but the noise levels from the disco did make it uncomfortable for us to sit on the balcony on our last night, if the volume was just turned down a little it would have been fine. Apart from the noise levels of the disco everything else was absolutely perfect, thank you for a lovely stay in your beautiful hotel in the amazing Bellagio

Overall great stay 1. Not having streaming services on TV is really inexcusable. 2. Getting ice from the disgruntled bartenders was an extreme hassle. 3. The king size bed had a large gap. It sure have a topper mattress on it so you don’t feel the whole 4. More hand sanitizer locations. One next to elevator on Floor 0 was missing the entire time 5. Breakfast area should have signs about using utensils and new plates each time. Some men put their hands in the granola and put it in their mouths even when there was a spoon in it

We had an incredible stay at the Hotel Du Lac. The room was very spacious and clean overlooking Lake Como with magnificent views of the lake upon awakening in the morning and beautiful sunsets at night. The breakfast area was a beautiful room looking out at the lake with the most delicious selection of breads and pastries along with your typical breakfast items. We had dinner on our last evening at the hotel and the food and service was terrific. I loved how the ownership took advantage of utilizing the roof top bar 2 hours every evening to watch a magnificent sunset and get a chance to meet and greet other vacationers staying at the hotel. The staff was top shelf in every aspect regarding meeting any need or request. The young lady in the front office at check in and throughout our stay could not have been more wonderful. We utilized her recommendations on many occasions from restaurants to bike rentals and to sightseeing journeys!!! Luca and his son Danielo help create the personalized touch that separates Hotel Du Lac from the larger hotels on the lake!! Can’t wait to return!! *****

Also being able to take pastries away from breakfast was a really nice touch and treat. Brilliant location to explore Lake Como. We would stay here again.

Inoltre lanstanza che ci 2 stata assegnata aveva deinproblemi e ci è stata cambiata subito con una migliore e senza diffeeenza di prezzo. I cannot thank the hotel team and staff enough for the excellent reception they gave myself and my fiancé. Every aspect of our stay was handled with diligence and care. I proposed to my now fiancé in Bellagio, and the team at the hotel, Daniel most of all, helped facilitate an incredible experience I will never forget their kindness and generosity. Carol, my companion, and I had an incredible stay for 8 days at Hotel du Lac last week. This was our first time at Lake Como, from Minnesota, but hope we will be back. EVERYTHING at the hotel was a five star plus, from minute one of our stay. The facility is PERFECT. The best of all is the staff, at all levels. Best vacation EVER in our lives. No better place in Bellagio and Lake Como.
