This has been the best hotel experience in some time now! The staff was friendly and very helpful at all time! The garden was so beautiful you could spend a few hours just relaxing in it. This is going to be a long review, but I truly feel that La Medusa Hotel deserves every word\. We had the most incredible experience here, and I honestly don’t even know where to begin\! The hotel itself was so charming and beautiful\. The garden and pool were absolutely immaculate, our room was spacious and comfortable, and the view from our balcony was breathtaking\. There was also a restaurant and bar on\-site that we went to at least once every day we were there\. It was quiet and peaceful, and it was the perfect place to relax after our full days of exploring Castellammare and the surrounding cities\. The staff were absolutely wonderful and beyond helpful\. They helped us arrange a private driver to and from the airport, which made traveling so much easier, and they were always happy to assist with other transportation needs, whether that was arranging a taxi or giving us information about ferries and trains\. The hotel also has a shuttle that takes you to and from the city center, which made it really easy to hop on the train and visit places like Sorrento and Pompeii\. Everyone was so accommodating and friendly\. I truly felt comfortable and at home during our entire stay\. The only thing I would consider when choosing this hotel is that getting to the Amalfi Coast itself isn’t always the easiest, and taxis and private drivers can get expensive\. That being said, we found that there were so many other ways to explore the area\. We booked a boat day and were able to see the entire Amalfi Coast, which was incredible\. We also easily took the train to Sorrento for a day, and another day we took the train to Sorrento and then the ferry to Capri\. As Americans who had never visited Europe before, all of that sounded intimidating at first, but it ended up being incredibly easy and honestly became one of our favorite days of the entire trip\. The hotel staff were always there to answer questions and even helped us book things we wanted to do while we were there\. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay special\. I couldn’t recommend this place enough\. My husband and I eloped in Positano, but we spent some time around the hotel taking photos as well\. We even said our vows right there in the front garden\. La Medusa will forever hold such a special place in our hearts, and I will never forget the time we spent here\. Thank you so much to everyone at La Medusa for making our stay so special\. We absolutely cannot wait to come back and visit again\! ❤️

We stayed at the property for 8 days and every minute was wonderful! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The property was clean, well maintained and the rooms were wonderful. After a snafu with one of our hotels, your staff was able to get us an additional 3 nights and upgraded us for our final days of our honeymoon. All the food was fresh and delicious, the seafood risotto is one I will be dreaming about!! Overall we had an amazing stay and will most definitely be back. I would recommend anyone and everyone to stay here.

All the staff in the restaurant were of exceptional professionalism, especially the Maitre D’ and the lady who was our sommelier on our last night who recommended such a superb wine, to accompany such excellent food. Antonio in the restaurant was very attentive and Carlos behind the outside bar suggested a new twist on a Margarita which went down very well. All in all this is an excellent hotel with great service and welcoming staff. You should all be very proud!

We booked last minute as had some travel disruptions in Italy and to be honest was probably one of the best experiences of our whole trip. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and the food and staff are amazing. My daughter and I are celiac and the staff and food choices were plentiful. Everyone knew and accommodations and options were provided for all meals and breakfast alternatives were brought without having to even ask eg: pastries/bread in am and plenty to choose from on menu. The restaurant manager especially was really friendly, knowledgeable and great but everyone was awesome. Big thank you to all the hotel staff for a really great stay for the family. From the moment we arrived, Fabio greeted us with genuine enthusiasm and a willingness to help that immediately made us feel welcome. Angela and Erminia were warm, gracious, and inviting, making our stay feel comfortable from the very beginning. Stefano, at the pool, was incredibly accommodating and helped create an atmosphere where we could truly relax and feel at home. Anna provided exceptional service to our room. It was exactly what a true vacation should feel like. The hotel itself was beautifully maintained. The meticulously trimmed gardens, immaculate grounds, stunning statues, and serene pool created an exceptionally peaceful and welcoming environment. Every detail reflected the care and pride that goes into making La Medusa such a special place. After leaving the hotel for Sorrento, we realized that we had accidentally left two items behind. We immediately called the hotel, and with the help of Anna ( housekeeping) our belongings were located. Among the items was several hundred dollars in cash—and every single dollar was still there. In addition to Anna; Angela, Erminia, and Fabio, they all played a part in helping locate, secure, and return our belongings. Their honesty, care, and willingness to assist us were deeply appreciated. Their actions went far beyond simply providing excellent service; they demonstrated genuine character and integrity. We would be grateful if Fabio, Angela, Erminia, Stefano, and Anna could all be personally acknowledged for the wonderful experience they provided us. Lobster salad), petite mention « top » au pâtissier qui fait tout lui même , dont les glaces (nocciola incroyable !) . Merci au chef de rang (Gennaro, si je me souviens bien) pour ses petits digestifs « «découverte « très appréciés pour sa gentillesse et l’ouverture de nos connaissances - très bon service de chambre avec changement des serviettes de toilettes et intervention deux fois par jour , très agréable et qui fait la différence avec d’autres établissements de même classe. Auch ist die Kollegin welche als Sommelier im regulären Restaurant arbeitet, und im Frühstücksrestaurant zweimal ausgeholfen hat eine Bereicherung für den Gast. Ich hätte mir gewünscht alle Mitarbeiter im Frühstücksrestaurant würden diese Leidenschaft und Herzlichkeit am Gast leben.

Your beautiful hotel is truly a haven of peace and tranquility. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The service is impeccable and discreet. In the evening, the restaurant offers a varied and delicious three-course menu. The gardens are magnificent, where you can relax in comfortable lounge chairs in the shade of lemon and orange trees. Unfortunately, I was unable to enjoy the wellness center or the beautiful outdoor pool as I was traveling at the end of October. It is a perfect central location from which to explore Naples, Capri, Sorrento, and the Amalfi Coast. Thank you for your attentive care. I will be sure to recommend your hotel.

The building and grounds were spectacular. Sadly, we couldn’t use the pool because the water was too cold. All staff were professional and friendly. We enjoyed the two bartenders that we met and chatted with, they were knowledgeable and friendly. Front desk was engaging and delightful. Your taxi driver was professional, engaging and Canadian ❤️ we enjoyed our breakfast in the 4th floor dining room, it was spotless and plenty of choices. We especially enjoyed our lunch and supper in the atrium with the delightful woman who was a gracious, knowledgeable & attentive host.

Reception was very welcoming and helpful, especially your two younger employees, Anna and Vinnie. These two and made sure we had a very good tour of Pompeii and correct arrangements with the train service back to the Rome airport. Antonio (?) your Canadian driver was very helpful to and from Pompeii and later to ensure we had the correct ticketing for the train back to FCO Rome. The staff in all the breakfast and dinning room were very helpful in choosing dishes and wine. They all helped make our meals very enjoyable.

We immensely enjoyed our 5-night stay at La Medusa. Thank you to the staff who were extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel like honored guests or family. The hotel exudes old world charm which is almost impossible to find these days. For anyone wanting a special oasis central to Pompeii, Sorrento, Amalfi, Naples and Airport, I could not make a better recommendation.
