Sonia was amazing. She immediately knew my name at check in and never forgot it or hesitated to use it. The gentleman with white hair who helped with our luggage (I didn't catch his name) always seemed to have a smile on his face. Very friendly. And the breakfast staff was great. Always remembered to bring gluten free food items for my wife.
2026-10-03
Everyone was attentive, helpful and kind. I really enjoyed every element of the Le Agavi. The Beach Club restaurant was outstanding and my wife and I enjoyed taking the water taxi into town. Every morning we would read the news and in the evening we would have a nightcap. We loved doing that from our balcony. The only thing that made me sad on the trip is that we did not come to Italy sooner! I can’t wait to come back.

2026-09-21
i forgot his name, he served the wine/liquor counter in the evenings that is located by the front desk in the same building. he also served the alcohol at the pool during the day. he completely changed my experience of being in positano from average to excellent. he recommended me a pasta place in rome, tonnarello on v. della paglia, and it was lifechanging. he is also incredibly friendly and extremely humble. i wish him the best and hope to see him again when i return
2026-09-21
Honestly, everyone with whom we interacted was exceptional. Sonia and her colleagues at the front desk were very friendly and very helpful. Your nighttime desk clerk, whose name I’m trying to remember, who is been there for a while-he was so kind and friendly. The staff that made up our rooms, the pool staff, everyone made the trip exceptional. We will return. Thank you, Le agave, for helping to make this a wonderful part of my wife, Chelsea‘s birthday trip. With fond memories and deep appreciation, Brad and Chelsea Barros

2026-09-13
Honestly we had spent 3 days at a hotel in Sorrento and had such a horrible and dismissive expereince with the staff there, the second we came into Le Agavi it was like a fresh of breath air. The kindess and attentiveness of all of the staff, from front desk, masseuses, people at the resturant, just everybody was incredible. We were just blown away by the service and care. Thank you for such an incredible stay.

We had an incredible stay at Le Agavi. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views and wonderful facilities, but what truly sets it apart is its exceptional staff. A special thank you to Elisabetta and Sonia, who patiently responded to my many emails before and during our stay and helped arrange every detail of our trip. Their professionalism and warmth made everything effortless. Thank you to Antonino for his patience and friendly service driving the shuttle throughout our stay. The beach bar staff were attentive, welcoming, and always made us feel well cared for. A special thank you to the taxi boat captain, who always made us feel safe and took great care of our family on every trip to and from the beach. Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the housekeeping team. Every evening it was a pleasure to return to a spotless, beautifully organized room—it truly made us feel at home. You have a beautiful hotel, but more importantly, you have an extraordinary team of people. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made this a truly memorable vacation for our family. We look forward to returning.
2026-08-06
We enjoyed the pool personnel, very helpful, and checked on us frequently. This was not done as well down at the ocean by the staff down there. The manager personally walked us to our room and this started our entire stay with a positive experience. The staff were friendly and helpful and the site was incredibly beautiful. We will recommend to friends and family. We hope to return in the near future.

Melania always quickly and effectively helped us with everything we needed—reservations, boat trip, getting to town, dinner reservations at the hotel, etc.. and she made it easy and joyful. We cannot say enough about what an incredible person Melania is and that she made our trip so enjoyable and made us want to come back to stay with you again. We also thought overall the staff were friendly and helpful and we loved our time at your beautiful hotel—breakfast, beach area, Remmese restaurant (food was excellent), spa, everything!
2026-07-22
A special mention must go to Doriana, who helped me orchestrate a very unique surprise for my wife, making our dinner at La Serra utterly magical. I deeply appreciate the care she put into my somewhat unusual request—presenting a diamond hidden inside an ice cube. It created a moment of total surprise against the backdrop of a breathtaking view.

The bellhop who assisted with our bags the first day was a total rockstar as we had so much luggage (sorry again!) Emanuelle and the Remmese staff provided wonderful service and recommendations. Special shoutout to Christian as well who did a fantastic job filleting our sea bass during our first night!

Here's a polished review you can post: Our stay at Le Agavi in Positano was absolutely exceptional. The entire staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived until the day we departed. Every single team member was kind, professional, and genuinely willing to go above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. A special thank you to the manager, Sonya, whose hospitality and attention to detail truly stood out. We would also like to recognize the bellman who graciously carried our heavy bags to and from our room. His help and positive attitude were greatly appreciated. The level of service at Le Agavi is second to none. It is rare to find a hotel where every staff member consistently delivers such warmth and care. We highly recommend Le Agavi to anyone visiting Positano and looking for an unforgettable experience. We cannot wait to return!

2026-05-27
Everyone was wonderful but I would like to mention Ivan (spelling?) at reception when we arrived and Tony. In Tony's case, we arrived at the pickup area for a return trip on the shuttle after 9:30 PM. Thinking we would have to wait for an hour, We were quite surprised when shortly after, Tony drove into the pickup area. He told us that he thought that the 9:30 shuttle was very full, so he thought returning early was indicated. He didn't need to arrive early, but he cared about the guest's needs. We highly salute him for service beyond the call of duty!!! David and Nancy Fulton

Melania was absolutely wonderful and ensured our stay was uniquely curated for us and stress free. She was a great representation of your beautiful property. Giuseppie was so friendly and accommodating every morning at breakfast - we looked forward to seeing him every morning. Pardon me for forgetting his name, but the night shift employee whose name begins with an A is absolutely hilarious and friendly. We loved chatting with him every night. He would get on shift around 6:30pm and I remember he said he has some young grandchildren. Additionally, the woman responsible for keeping our room was wonderful- I do not remember her name, but if you could please look at your records and see who the main person cleaning our room was and please recognize her for her stellar work. Your property is so very special and we cannot wait to come and visit again. Thank you for such an amazing trip and the most amazing memories.

Melania was particularly helpful. She is clearly a professional committed to customer service. She so graciously helped arranged for my ground transportation to the airport and my visits to Sorrento and Pompeii and every other request for assistance. I must say the guest relations staff (Sonia, Melania, Elisabetta, Vincenzo, and Ivan) were all kind and helpful professionals to all customers who went the extra mile in serving the guests. Also, from my interaction with Sonia, it is clear she leads understanding treatment of people matters the most. Also, my birthday happened during my stay at the Le Agavi and the staff made it extra special. At the Le Agavi a customer ‘s loyalty is reciprocated with loyalty as well.

The entire staff from the moment we got to the hotel until the moment we left were exceptional! The front desk Melania,Ivan,Sonia all were very helpful and accommodating. In the restaurant everyone was courteous and polite. Everyone of the staff stood out in their own way. Antonino, Rosario, the staff in housekeeping all were so very nice and treated us as if we were a part of the family!
