We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Oswald Hotel in the Dolomites. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed by the entire team. The level of hospitality, attention to detail, and professionalism was exceptional. The hotel itself is beautiful, with outstanding facilities, comfortable rooms, an excellent spa, and everything needed for a truly relaxing vacation. Although we had an initial disappointment about our view from the deluxe room, we enjoyed our stay overall. The decor, cleanliness and facilities in the room were very good indeed. We thought that the food we ate was amazing but my son found it too rich. By the end of the week, the maitre d’ had realised he wasn’t eating and offered a simpler option. We were absolutely delighted with the service we received from the hotel staff in all areas, and especially notably the chamber maid, the reception staff, and the dining room staff led by Antonio. What a superb asset that man is! He made our stay especially memorable. The low scores for the lounge, by the way, arise because that is an area we did not use and there was no way to record that in the questionnaire. The only small negative of our stay not mentioned so far was the stern and severe nature of the manager. He often seemed to be looking for fault, and never once spoke to us during our stay. I can only recall two occasions when I saw him smile, and only one of those was in our presence. This was so much in contrast with the attitude of the rest of the hotel staff that it was very noticeable, and lingers in the memory. Finally, the reason we are unlikely to return is no fault of the Hotel Oswald. It is simply that time has caught up with us, and we find ourselves becoming too infirm for the walking that we love. We wholeheartedly wish you success and prosperity for the future. Tony and Alison Nicol

Vorab vielen Dank für einen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Wir haben nur eine Nacht während eines 15 tägigen Road Trip durch die Alpen hier genächtigt. Wir haben keine Beanstandungen, das möchte ich auch vorweg nehmen. Das Personal vor allem vorbildlich geschult und gebrieft. Für unsere Begriffe dürfte es etwas lockerer sein sowohl beim Empfang als auch beim Frühstück konnte man spüren, das auf Disziplin und Etikette äußerst hohen Wert gelegt wird. Als Unternehmerin kann ich es durchaus nachvollziehen in Perfektion zu Schulen. Trotzdem fühlte es sich für uns sehr streng reglementiert an. Ich hoffe die richtigen Worte gefunden zu haben. Das gesamte Team hat sich herausragend verhalten, mir persönlich gefällt es besser, wenn mehr persönlicher Charakter jedes einzelnen erkennbar zugelassen ist und mehr Freiraum zugestanden würde. Vielen Dank für ihre Zeit und weiterhin alles Gute für dieses tolle Hotel mit wunderschönen Highlights. Beste Grüße aus NRW an der niederländischen Grenze.

Auch die Zimmer sind wunderbar aufgewertet. Der Wellnessbereich ist ein Traum.Der Speisesaal ist allerdings aus einer früheren Epoche und strahlt wenig Atmosphäre aus. Der Salat Buffet ist hervorragend, die Auswahl an vegetarischen Alternativen fehlte mir etwas. Ich hätte mir etwas mehr, einfachere Südtiroler Küche gewünscht, weniger „Pseudo“ abgehoben. We just arrived back from a week at The Oswald today. What a brilliant stay we had! Of course we loved Selva and the mountains and our skiing but this was made all the better with our stay at The Oswald. The Sky Pool and Spa area are a superb addition and offer a great alternative to skiing when the weather is bad or when relaxation and recuperation are required. We were half board and enjoyed the choices at both breakfast and dinner. Every member of staff made us feel welcome - from the lady who cleaned our room (Room 311) to the waiters, the Reception staff, the excellent barman, the lady at The Sky Pool, the Shuttle bus driver and the great advice he gave us and especially Rosario! Rosario went above and beyond to make our stay special. Not only did he make sure my wife had poached eggs, when the fried eggs were cold, and poached eggs were not even on the menu but he was so attentive whenever we saw him. He never failed to give that personal touch - called us by our name, reordered our favourite wine when it ran out and kept the leftover wine we had purchased and made sure it was on our table ready and waiting the next evening. Rosario’s calm professionalism ensured breakfast through to dinner was always an enjoyable experience. We would highly recommend a stay at The Oswald and would love to come back in the future.

We had a 10 year anniversary during our stay and would've really appreciated some kind of gesture but we were informed that the hotel doesn't provide anything extra for special occassion. Before our arrival we figured that some kind of gesture would maybe not be a possibility. Nonetheless, we were really grateful for everything and happy with our choice of stay in Selva. The room for ski and snowboard equipment was fantastic and we used that every day during our stay. We hope to stay with you again in the future.

Gentilissimi avete investito ed i risultati sono evidenti. Non ho mai visto una area benessere bello quanto la vostra. La mia camera ritengo non fosse tra quelle ristrutturate ma la riconfermerei perché per me che sono da sola è perfetta facendo però qualche minimo accorgimento per agevolare il soggiorno ma cosa da poco. Anche il primo piano è strepitoso. Ho apprezzato moltissimo la zona deposito bagagli dove addirittura avete previsto una doccia che permette alla ospite di sfruttare anche l’ultimo giorno ripartendo rinfrescato e cambiato. La palestra che è di mio interesse è molto spaziosa e confortevole. Diciamo che per portare a 5 stelle la struttura rimane da aggiornare il piano terra ma prima ancora mi soffermerei a fare un upgrade alla cena come scritto precedentemente. Sono capitata da voi con il passaparola di una amica svizzera il cui marito civilista è stato ospite storico vostro. Mi avete decisamente conquistata ed essendo una amante di selva e di tanto potrò permettermi la vostra struttura continuerò a venire da voi.

Nonostante il problema della "perdita" della prenotazione per cambio gestionale avete sistemato alla grande. Complimenti a tutto lo staff per la qualità dell'hotel e dei servizi. Ci rivedremo sicuramente!
